    Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! Got to meet the chef and his passion for food is very clear. He's french himself but his dishes are an incredible fusion of Mexican/French cuisine. Something I have never got to experience anywhere and I ate all over the world. I had most of the dishes. His duck dish is absolutely incredible and cooked to perfection. I thought he might got lucky cooking it that perfect so I went back 2 days after to have it again and again it was cooked to perfection. Very very skillful chef that needs all the respect in the world. By far biggest recommendation for the whole area. Price-wise also very doable. Definitely compared to the insane prices in Los Cabos. Also the ambiance is just incredible in a jungly kind of outside place full of palmtrees.

    This is a fancy-looking spot for IG pics, and for people who value quantity over quality of food. IMO a terrible value at over $300 USD for two. Had the 7-course prixe fixe menu. Dishes were not balanced in flavor. Nearly every dish was too rich. Food ranged from OK to disappointing. Too much food. They served 3 desserts. Also cheesy techno music. Service was OK (a high-schooler's summer job?). Food at Green Room is much, much better.

    The best part of this place is the dogs. They are very sweet and like all dogs good beggars, they got half my meal 😅. DŪM has a nice atmosphere, well lit in the evening, and seems like a great place to hold a event. The cocktails are nothing to write home about (why can’t anyone make a good cocktail?) but the duck was perfectly cooked and delish. The lobster salad was more pretty than tasty. Was the end of the night and seemed like everyone just wanted to go home so the service was just ok. The duck and the dogs made it worth it though the price is not justified.

    El lugar es muy bonito, la comida está okey! El mesero que nos atendió muy amable, llevamos niños a la cena y pedimos cosas fuera del menú para los niños porque el mesero nos comentó que se podía hacer excepciones para ellos, la chef salió a decir que no podía hacer excepciones para ellos (se entiende cuando el lugar está lleno y hay más gente por lo cual entendemos que no se puede hacer excepción a todo el restaurante, pero éramos la única mesa ocupada en el lugar) pedimos quesadillas para uno de los pequeños y se nos comentó que no había queso para hacerlas, nos adaptamos al menú que nos ofrecían para los niños y pedimos algo de las opciones, más tarde nos traen las quesadillas que de un principio se pidieron y que según no había queso para hacerlas (no nos comentaron que siempre si las harían) el agua que nos servían de la botella no se nos comentó que se cobraba aparte y pensamos que era de cortesía, $540 por 4 botellas de agua que no se nos comentó desde el primer momento, solo nos empezaron a servir! Solamente un mesero que es argentino nos ofreció un trato amable, de ahí en fuera deja mucho que desear. Las porciones de comida son demasiado pequeñas para lo que cuestan y de sabor están normal, considerando el precio y el lugar, uno espera mucho más!

    My partner and I had a lovely dinner with my Mom. The restaurant for just the ambience alone is spectacular, but the food was amazing, the presentation, the flavours, unbelievably wonderful. Do not hesitate to try this little gem of a restaurant, it was the best experience we had during our ten day stay, a beautiful memory for us.

    I would visit Dūm for the setting alone, but the food and preparation is magnificently elegant, creative and delicious. I mean, chorizo sorbet on the side of the kampachi course. Yes, please. Chef Aurelien y su compañeros are preparing top notch dishes (we had the tasting menu and I would recommend you do the same), serving with style and matching it with the best wine list I've seen in Baja Sur. And back to the setting. There were times during the meal that I wondered, 'how exactly is this here and how am I here?' The private tables were romantically nestled into the palm oasis (I dont think a single palm tree was harmed during construction of the restaurant) on custom made wood platforms which you enter through a sand and cactus trail. And bonus to all, our Friday night had live music. If you want an elevated cuisine to match a gorgeous and romantic setting, this is the place in Baja.

    Este lugar es impresionante en todos los aspectos. La decoración es sensacional y las mesas están ubicadas al exterior, con una distancia entre ellas que permite gran privacidad.     We are food and wine lovers who seek out unique restaurants to try. Dum is definitely unique. But unlike other reviewers, we just didn’t love it. First of all, seven courses for dinner is required (we think - but unsure because we didn’t see a menu) and we just can’t eat that much. By the end, we were leaving half the plate. The food was very upscale (think foam and pretty plating) and although it was okay, we both only really enjoyed the rabbit. For the price, we should have been wowed a little more. Wherever we go, we try the wine from that country and were very interested in trying Valle de Guadalupe, but their wine list was quite limited for Mexican wines. Alex (sommelier?) talked wine with us and we told him our specific tastes, but the wine he steered us to was not to our liking. We drank it without complaint because wine is subjective and we didn’t want to send a full bottle back just because it wasn’t our style. He was very nice and friendly, as were the servers and the chef, so we hate to give a mediocre review, but Dum just wasn’t for us.

    We actually slowed down our menu from last season because we thought of that. We used to serve more dishes. Now we are going to think about your comments again and see if maybe we should slow down a little bit more. Sorry we didn't meet your expectations, hopefully we can have you back soon and taste new things —as we change our menu constantly depending on seasonality and sustainability products— and get that mark that we missed this time.

    This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had to be honest. It was for a birthday and we were immediately asked pre fixe or a la cart and when we chose the latter we were sat in a second rate area with bright lights and several strong incense sticks. We had 8 stray dogs begging at our table the entire night, one continually licked our legs and the staff did nothing to move them but suggested we adopt them. We also had two instances of cockroaches crawling our legs and the waitress forgot to put in one of our entrees even though we were the only ones there. All in all, horrible and won’t be back

    DŪM has two areas where you can enjoy a beautiful curated setting designed for the menus served. You were seated in a more casual kids-friendly space. In Todos Santos, we have a huge population of stray dogs and, sadly for those who don’t like dogs, we love them. People also love to feed them with leftovers. We try to sterilize and rescue every dog that comes in and we will definitely make a better job to promote adoptions and training them faster. But we will definitely keep helping them.

    Overly ambitious, but not even close to good. Parts of the meal were inedible. We pre-purchased the pre-fixe and couldn’t get through half of it before the chef came out to ask what was wrong — we barely ate what was on the plate. Other than the large outdoor restaurant being empty besides us and a neighboring table, our server had only been at the restaurant for 4 days and her “superior” only 14 days. The poor service combined with the inedible food makes me question who would give this restaurant any consideration at all. Don’t make the same mistake we did - do NOT dine here. Update as per restaurant request: although our conversation is “heated,” I have been offered a free meal if I return to Dūm, which I will not be taking.

    We spoke with you to listen to your concerns and it turns out that you were expecting a cuisine that we did not serve. You explained to us that you had an expectation based on pictures and not on the concept of the restaurant. The Chef came out to prepare special dishes for you and you were asked what you wanted, to which you never said "Mediterranean cuisine". The fact that the restaurant had few diners has nothing to do with the experience for diners. This is not a nightclub.

    Reservamos para la experiencia del brunch de Año Nuevo y Al llegar nadie nos recibió, solo nos invitaron a pasar, tuvimos que decir que teníamos reserva para el brunch. Después de asignarnos mesa nos dijeron si ya nos podían tomar la orden pero no sabíamos cómo funcionaría el brunch, ni siquiera habíamos visto el menú pues en OpenTable solo había información de que sería Family Style, posterior a esto nos trajeron el menú y entendimos que comeríamos y cómo sería la dinámica. Tiempo después nos trajeron la comida, sinceramente, no valía para nada los 1,400 pesos (sin contar los 500 extra por persona por mimosas que muy a penas tenían vino espumoso) per pax que pagamos por ella, ensalada sin vinagreta ni sal, carpaccio de cabrilla sin ningún tipo de pan lavash, Grissinis o crouton, bueno, quizá unos totopos o tostada pero tampoco, nos llevaron unos ostiones sin absolutamente nada más que limon y mignonette (ni un poquito de sal tenían), una sopa al pesto que literal era frijoles con verduras, caldo y una cucharada de pesto. De plato fuerte nos sirvieron un chamorro que fue lo mejor de la comida, medio pollo seco, medio pescado lleno de espinas (se sabe que el pescado tiene espinas pero se agradece cuando hacen el intento de retirarlas), un arroz rojo con algo de mariscos y unas vegetales de guarnición que no tenían sabor alguno. De postre nos llevaron un sampler que no estuvieron mal sin embargo nos sirvieron 2 limones rellenos de “Pay de limón”, aquí el tema es que los limones ni siquiera estaban confitados, y escogieron los limones más maltratados y pasados para rellenarlos. Acudimos por qué buscábamos mucho disfrutar de un brunch de Año Nuevo y nos habían hablado maravillas de DUM, por lo que creímos que era una opción excelente, lamentablemente fue decepcionante y sinceramente nos sentimos robados pues gastamos en total más de 6,000 pesos por mala comida y mimosas con aire de vino espumoso. Pésima experiencia

    We went with a large group for their New Year’s Eve dinner. We have been to Dum many times and love the tasting menus every time. The ambiance is always incredible. This time not so much- The food was so badly executed and tasted terrible. It was honestly inedible. We think it was because they aren’t used to large events. However the worst part about it was they said bottomless champagne and only offered us one glass. The service was slow. We really wish we did something different for New Years Eve.

    The meal was incredible, the ambience was amazing but the best part was the staff, they went above and beyond, whether it was lighting us a table side fire to adjusting the tasting menu to dietary restrictions on the fly to making our Xmas eve away from family feel like home. Abraham and Solomon were truly amazing hosts and we would go again in a second.

    We had a wonderful evening at Dum. The location is really nice, the staff was extremely kind, the food was sublime and the tasting menu was really something special: very tasteful, prepared with local ingredients and the sequence of the different courses was perfect. Chef Aurélien Legeay came to greet us at the end of the dinner to conclude a perfect romantic evening. Dum is a must do in Todos Santos !

    Amazing meal, cannot imagine a better experience! Each course was perfectly composed and so so delicious, explained by the server and manager with care. One of the best meals of my life! We did added the wine pairing, highly recommend with the chefs menu.

    One of the best or the best experience we have had in Baja California including Cabo great food scene. The combination of the French cuisine with amazing local products made for an unforgettable dinner experience. We did the set menú but added two more items because we couldn’t leave without tasting them! The attention was excellent. The ambiance is unique and so inviting. Wine selection great.     Wow - an amazing experience at DUM. First the setting and ambience - frankly speaking it is like a little oasis of paradise! Set amongst palm tress the setting is clever with a few bars dotted around with tables well spaced between the trees. With candles on the tables and strings of lights through the tress it is beautiful. The food - well we had the tasting menu and the selections were very tasty indeed and the presentation beautiful - matching the location! Service was excellent - attentive without being at all over bearing. We enjoyed cocktails and then chose a wine with advice from the waiter - we were not guided to the most expensive at all, but a wine that complemented the food perfectly. 5* experience.

    Visited Dum while on vacation, at the recommendation of a local resident. Dum has a very unique setting. The tables are well-spaced amidst palm trees. The food was inventive and the service outstanding.

    El lugar es tranquilo, relajado, en contacto con la naturaleza de Todos Santos. El personal amable, bien entrenado en el servicio y Adrienne un excelente anfitrión. La cocina es deliciosa, con un estilo de degustación similar al Bullí, con sabores explosivos que aprovecha los recursos naturales de temporada del país. Técnicas bien ejecutadas y platos decorativos. Es una muy buena experiencia que no es barata, pero que vale la pena repetir.

    One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The setting is magical and Adrian is an amazing chef - they are growing their own vegetables and changing the menu every month. Our wait staff, Bruno, Axel and Marta were so attentive and the service superlative. Couldn’t recommend it more!
