Our founder, Samuel Kobrick, was inspired by the lights and the energy of Manhattan and with that began roasting a coffee that “brews” those same feelings.
Today, 4 generations, 100 years and still growing, Kobrick Coffee Co. continues to inspire NYC and far beyond with our variety of coffee. Our experienced coffee buyer and roastmaster have been here for about 28 years along with 3 generations of the Kobrick family, working together to ensure that we combine the best ingredients with keen skill to craft delicious coffees imprinted with our colorful style and legacy.

    Nice little spot for an intimate drink or bite to eat. Not a full restaurant but good for a quick bite. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

    We were asked to leave the establishment because I wanted to use my laptop. They stated it was their right to not allow the use of laptops on weekends. When I mentioned that there is no difference between using my phone and using my laptop they said that it did not matter. I explained to them that I was purchasing not only coffee and drinks, but food as well, and then I should be allowed to use my laptop, especially considering that I was sitting outdoors. It did not matter to them and I was asked to leave.

    Great breakfast - server was friendly and efficient. Food was really good. Had the croissant sandwich and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The music is played at a very loud volume. Although the space was not crowded we could barely hear each other talk. Otherwise loved the ambiance.

    Kobricks is a very pleasant, interesting place, with one side a coffee bar and the other a small sit down restaurant. Table are small and close together, photos on the wall are all about coffee. The atmosphere was nice, though tables are tight! The selection is limited. We ordered two egg dishes, which were good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was OK. Had to ask for salt and pepper, which you would think they'd bring if you are ordering eggs. They asked if we wanted silverware..really? But overall we had a nice brunch. The coffee was very good, and clearly that is what they are all about.

    I took my wife here for a coffee brunch date. The service and food was amazing. The interior is warm and romantic and give you a sense of love and warmth. The coffee is so rich and delight, and the food is made with love. The restaurant is small, but there is outdoor dining and bar space. Reservations are a must so go ahead and reserve your seat.

    Very good place. Food is of good quality. We ordered steamed eggs and a French Toast. Both were very tasty.

    I did a brunch last week staying on a table outside . Service was very good. I had a chai latte and an avocado toast . Food was very good and tasty and the price was fair . Very nice location

    The food was very good, other than the spicy avocado toast which had no spice at all. We were the only table for a while until another table of 3 came in but service was so slow and unfriendly as to be annoying. We will not be back.

    We went for brunch and it was amazing! The space is warm and cozy and feels like you've been transported to a European cafe. We started with a fresh squeezed orange juice, a latte and an americano, all were fresh tasting and delicious. The coffee was the best I've had in NYC. We also tried their steamed eggs with prosciutto and cracked croissant. Delicious! The staff was attentive and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

    We were told they didn’t take reservations even though we booked it through OpenTable. We were not notified about this in advance either, either via phone or through open table. We ended up having to go somewhere else.

    Our waiter and coffees were lovely, but my salad was awful. I asked for greens and egg whites, and the lettuce that came was wilted, brown and looked like it was going bad. However, the eggs were very good. 😁

    To be fair, it was a very chilly day and we sat outside. The noise from the 9th Ave traffic made this a not so great experience. Next time will sit indoors. The coffee was amazing tho
