It's how he connects with anyone who joins them at their table.

Superb meal. Three of us split six dishes. Beef a la Plancha, carrot bolognese, and pickled corn pancakes with popcorn were standouts, but everything was delicious.

Alden and Harlow creates “comfort foods” with an exciting twist. The preparations are approachable traditional dishes, but always with a wonderful pan-cultural twist. Great restaurant. Great value for the experience.

We came here for my mom's birthday and had a wonderful time! From the moment we walked in and interacted with the hosts to the end of our meal every person who helped us was warm and went above to ensure we had a great dinner. Our server in particular was so kind and helpful every step of the way. The food itself was absolutely delicious- we especially loved the braised beef a la plancha and duck confit pierogi. I highly recommend this spot for a special occasion, or even for a casual dinner if you are in the mood for an incredible meal.

The restaurant overall was great, good food and good vibes but we had a finicky waitress who could really talk your ear off and that wasn’t exactly the style of service we were in the mood for during our business dinner.

Really nice inside. Interesting brunch menu-eggs with jam, eggs with gravy, broccoli.... Once we each settled on a dish, the server let us know we could change up several ingredients which I appreciate; want scrambled inside of over easy-no problem. Want cheddar instead of pimento cheese, no problem. The portions are large. The toasted fruit was fantastic! The noise level is energetic but not overwhelming, and the service fine. My 4 rather than 5 is that I didn't love the food, with the exception of the fruit. The coffee wasn't strong enough for me-that's just me-and the combination of ingredients in each of our egg dishes were interesting rather than something I'm dying to repeat. We will definitely return as all in all-the experience was very good.

Run, do not walk, to have the new item on the menu: duck pierogis. I ate with a Pittsburgh native (pierogi central) and she was also impressed. Other faves: kale salad, roasted carrots, bluefin crudo, braised beef. I was also happy that the restaurant was chill about us have one last minute drop to our party of four.

The menu seemed to be different from what I saw on the website, it was more meaty than I expected. The veggie dishes were very good and creative, as were the drinks. Service was great, I have always loved the interior.

The music was too loud. Overall we had a great dinner, a few things we tried weren’t as great as we had hoped. Everything is always fresh and fun.
