Italy's neighorhood pizzeria's are known as really casual places to hang out, meet friends, eat, drink and talk. Lil' Frankie's is just that. We offer real Neapolitan pizza, made exactly as it's made in Naples, fresh handmade pastas cooked to order, a wine and grappa list that rivals any in the city, and friendly (never pushy) service - all in a setting designed to make you feel at home.

Our brick, wood burning, oven was handcrafted by a 3rd generation Neapolitan oven builder, brick by brick. It features real lava from Vesuvio and through a unique double dome design, recycles heat to reach near 900 degrees.

I went there for brunch around 11 am and it was not packed at all, didn't seem like I actually needed to make a reservation (note: it did start to get more packed later on closer to 12-12::30 pm). The ciabatta bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was amazing! Was very excited for the 3 for 1 drink special but then quickly disappointed because they ran out of champagne and prosecco within 20-30 minutes of me being there. Not cool :/

Service was fast the staff were very attentive!!! The food omg was so freaking good the music was great not too loud just enough to have a conversation without screaming and still move your head to the melody and beat of the music jeje. The hostess when we arrived was very charming and helpful. And the drinks were great I am coming back for more jaja oh and by the way the lemon pasta was amazingly delicious 😋 next time i will have to rounds of that

We came here for an early dinner (6pm on a Thursday night) before a show on the lower east side. We walked in to no hostess at the entrance, once we were able to track someone down we were informed that our table was cancelled after being 11 minutes late. Once the we were actually seated, the waiter was very uninterested in our table. The lemon and Parmesan pasta was so over cooked - it was so mushy it was almost inedible. I had been to Lil frankies a few years prior and was very disappointed with the decrease in quality. I would not revisit with so many other choices in the neighborhood.

Cramped space. Server didn’t bring us bread as per usual. Brought our entrees out too soon with no room on tiny table. Good music, delicious food. Wish they would pay more attention to details.

We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant, and our server only returned after we requested the bussing staff bring her over. Each time. For every drink order. While the people around us were being served regularly. I'm not sure what we did, since this began from the time we sat down, but the bad service alone warrants not returning.

Food is fantastic. Service was great. Space is limited so we were sat next to the kitchen area which was tight with the main walkway. Felt like we were in the way so it wasn’t as comfortable as other visits.

The reservation was for 11 people. We were accommodated in a 8 people table. They put 10 chairs. The service was confused. One of the entrees did not arrive until the dinner was almost finished. Very noisy place, with the music in a high volume. But the food is excellent, really really good!

My wife had the spaghetti and broccoli and did not care for it at all. Wish we had gone with the pizza which we had read positive reviews about but we had just had pizza the night before unfortunately

JUST AMAZING!!!!! From start to finish. With my husband and kids. We wanted something different than our usual! The food tasted like we were in Italy and the service was great. Can’t wait to come back!

We love lil Frankie’s! Great food! Gnocchi is the best and my girls loved the pizza, baby meatballs and calamari! Loud and energetic which was perfect with my 4 and 5.5 year old because when they were loud no one heard them! We go every time we are in nyc!

I called the reservation line to make sure they knew it was for a work dinner and they gave us he worst table. We couldn’t get in the chairs, had to move and then they put us by the kitchen dished and then after 2 hours they kicked us out. Never again

Nothing fresh here. Even when it’s promoted on the menu. Over priced Italian food, bland as ever. Horrific. Couldn’t finish it. I’m assuming this is an after hour spot people who have been out all night drinking go to for a meal. End of story.
