Hours were not mentioned in automated system and contradict what’s online vs Google etc but allowed you to make a reservation and confirm outside of business hours. We had a 10:30 brunch reservation but they didn’t open until 11. Location is not ideal ie in the middle of a parking lot. Inside wasn’t bad. Layout was a bit awkward feeling. Service was a lot left to be desired with several forgotten ordered items, wrong menus presented, but overall friendly and accommodating. We were the first customer of the day so maybe they just weren’t in their groove yet. Food was the highlight as it should. By having good food a restaurant can overcome most of their shortcomings. Drinks were superb. I need to come back during dinner hours and give them another chance. Loads of potential for this place.

The good news: Highly recommend the ravioli stuffed with braised short rib. Also recommend the pork chop. The bad news: The world famous grits must have had a bad night…they were awful. The scalloped potatoes came out cold twice. Kids of the owner or employees were noisy and distracting.

It has great potential but the atmosphere takes away from the food. Short Rib Ravioli was our favorite entree we had.

Nice vibe & greeted warmly, server was friendly & super good at it. French Onion to start delectable then the grilled Caesar excellent . Could’ve used a little more dressing. I ordered the Lemon Caper Chicken. It was outstanding the sauce was spot on. There was enough to take home . My friend ordered Short Rib Ravioli outstanding . I look forward to my next visit.

Our meal was delicious and our server Ambar was wonderful. She was very attentive and very quiet relaxing meal that we had there. We highly recommend Root & Branch and we plan on going back in the near future.

Excellent food and service!! We had the scallops to begin with, wonderful! My husband had the wagyu steak and I had the pork Wellington for dinner. Both so good, our plates were empty. We each then had the crème brûlée for dessert, yummy! My husband had a margarita, made from scratch, not a mix like a lot of places. Highly recommend Root + Branch.

Inventive, perfectly prepared meal in a casual environment. Our waiter was charming and informative, and we were lucky enough to meet and chat with the chef. This was our third visit-highly recommend.
