My wife & I had dinner there. They brought out my order by itself and 15 minutes later I had to ask where my wife's meal was. It had been "misplaced" in the kitchen. It was brought out 15 minutes later. I had not eaten my meal so it was also cold by the time my wife's order came out of the kitchen.

The food was delicious but I do have 2 negatives: I asked for a fairly simple modification to the eggs Benedict and was told no ( ie I didn’t want the sweet hollandaise that came with the eggs) and I was not notified that the menu was limited on Fathers Day to a prix fixe menu which I would not have been interested in.

Our waitress was lovely and the place is beautiful but that’s about it. Started off waiting 10 minutes at the host station when we had reservations set. It happens, whatever. The kitchen is open concept so I could see food sitting in the window waiting to be brought to a table, those plates were still there when we were finally sat. Service was incredibly slow, not in an intentional way but in a way that felt disorganized. I made the reservations to try the wagyu, and it was nothing to write home about. Overall disappointing experience.

We celebrated my 75th birthday at Dram Yard and it was superb! We started with 🦪 and cocktails followed by duck breast for my wife and Tile fish for me with Huia Sauvignon Blanc! The food was top notch and the service matched the food! They have a Team approach to make sure all goes well and this team: Mere, Tim, Camelia, Chef Nick, Chef Rhye and John were great. I would suggest this is the best team in Wilmington!
