    We started off with 2 small plates, Mac n cheese gnocchi and the pate. Both were delicious. We also got the bread for 2 which came with a sour cream butter and herbed butter. You have to eat butter at Butter! It was amazing and I would eat the sour cream butter on everything if I could. For dinner we shared the beef Wellington and Bronzino, Amazing!! We were so full we couldn’t get dessert but really wanted to! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful with menu selections. Our water glass was never empty! Highly recommend!!!

    Alex should be ashamed to put her name on this restaurant. Horrible ambiance and overpriced. Tiny portions and drinks were super expensive. I have never been so disappointed in a Chopper Chef’s establishment. Never again. Eat at a hot dog cart outside.

    First, I want that vegetable tart every day for the rest of my life. I was there with two friends for Thanksgiving dinner. It was their first time at Butter. This is among the best decisions I've ever made. The Parker House Rolls were reliably superb and by dinner companions were quite impressed! The cornbread was likewise delicious. Then came the tart... I get misty thinking about it. Dinner was astounding. We each got the turkey entree. The dark meat was especially tasty. The pepperoni and sausage stuffing was out of this world. One of our party does not eat pork so while they did put her stuffing on the side for the table, there was no stuffing option for her. She got over the disappointment pretty quickly when the sides came out: we had enough food for three more people and it was all fantastic! I can only speak for my dessert because they took theirs to go. I was absolutely stuffed so I was only going to have a few bites of the cranberry tart. I finished it. The service was friendly and efficient as always. They made sure everything was perfect! It always seems like Butter's mission to make its patrons feel like they're at home... only home is extra fabulous and super comfy with amazing food. You succeed every time!

    The service and food was outstanding. Our table however vibrated the whole time which made quite a distraction from our dinner conversation. We were asked if we wanted to move but the tables available had direct heat blowing on them. So that was a no go from us.

    The food was hot and cold. Beef Wellington was AMAZING. The main lobster tortellini didn’t have a taste. The service was OK. Way better at tbe mini bar. Cute place, just very dark.

    This is a great place with great ambience, drinks were amazing and food was good too, the service could improve and the staff needs to be more knowledgeable of the menu to be able to give suggestions when a question is asked usually places in these price rage are more accommodating. Overall it’s a good choice for a basic experience.

    I had always wanted to try the food at Butter, so when I knew I would be staying nearby I decided to treat myself. It did not disappoint-the experience was wonderful. The food was outstanding and as delicious as I had hoped it would be. I ordered a Ghost Margarita, the Cavatappi pasta, the Pan Seared Branzino, and chocolate cake. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was perfect. Once the fish came(which took a while- not sure if that is normal for this particular dish but it was a whole fish) After tasting the fish, I immediately wanted another one. It was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I didn’t give full stars for service only because it seemed to be quite a wait for the fish to come. But everything else was perfect and the servers/hostess were kind and attentive. I can’t wait to return.

    Pros: delicious Parker House rolls to start (if you purchase the bread option), tasty little gem salad to start, Iron Chef Alex treatment on the Florida Red Snapper in delicious mussel chowder and plated on top of a mussel for height. Cons: making everyone wait on the couch for ten minutes before being taken to the table when you have a reservation for the first slot of the evening and almost no one else is there is just pretentious, service was slow at the start (although improved as meal went on), only including 3 Parker House rolls instead of 4 in the bread service for two is ridiculous, chef’s selections of ice cream and sorbet was nothing special. Will go back, but still some gaps to fill before it can get five stars

    We had a very nice time at Butter. It is right in midtown which was super convenient if you are going to a show. The Porterhouse rolls and homemade butter are a must!! The Red snapper was delicious as was the Little gem salad!

    My sister and I had a fabulous meal at Butter. We had the filet mignon beef Wellington, and it was expensive but everything we had hoped it would be. The double cut pork chops with the delicate Sea Island red beans were also outstanding. Even the Parker House rolls were special. Service was professional and attentive. (Thank you, Jasmine!) Will definitely be back.

    This is my third visit to Butter but it had been awhile since I’ve been. I feel the space is in need of a little TLC. The food was just as wonderful as always! The tomahawk and the foie gras were just amazing! The service was very polite and always smiling. The only thing that surprised me was the way they kept trying to rush the dishes away. Just a little too eager to get us out of there, even though we were the last seating. Will be back, as the food is the star, and the staff is always very nice!

    We dined here from out of town to celebrate my youngest daughter turning sixteen as Alex Guarneschelli is her favorite chef. Every bite was delicious and even though it was a full restaurant on a Saturday night, our waiter was very attentive to us. We look forward to returning.

    Butter was the highlight of my trip to New York City. The staff was kind and helpful in advising us on our selections and the food was amazing. Easily the best thing we ate in the city. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Did a 5pm dinner before an evening Broadway show and it worked out great! Loves the big cozy booth and could eat the Parker house tools were seriously one of the best things I have eaten in forever - perfectly buttery and light and airy with a wonderfully salted top… will dream of them. Wanted to try lots of things so my sister and I shared everything - rolls, kale salad, buratta, cavatappi with lamb sausage and yellow tomato sauce, lobster tortellini, and Texas sheet cake. (We definitely over ordered…). Also had a great cocktail - I think it was a rhubarb mule? Delicious. While we enjoyed everything we ordered, we decided the perfect Parker house rolls were the stand out and the lobster tortellini surprisingly came in last. Honestly can’t wait to plan another theater & food weekend in NYC so I can go back there!

    Great food, good service. Stunned to find no burgundy/pinot noir wine glasses in a restaurant with expensive bottles of burgundy on the wine list. Pork chop, gnocchi and raspberry beignets all with getting.
