It is with great pleasure and 20 years of traveling that we bring you our interpretation and flair of the American gusto to traditional European dishes. The restaurant is nice, great ambiance and a different feel from the other places up in this region. The food is average at best. My whole family was not pleased with the food. Between the chicken, fish and beef, the food was just average. Additionally, for the portions to the prices this place is not a value by any means. We eat in NYC all the time and are fine paying high prices for quality food, but this was NYC prices without that level of quality. I understand they have a short season to earn their money but offer better food and more of it to get the money they are seeking. Lastly, the service was just average. The server was nice, but we were forgotten many times and had to ask multiple times for the same things, like more water, etc.

We had an amazing experience at the Chateau! Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The short rib is so tender I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable! The atmosphere is stunning with well kept grounds and a beautiful view of the lake. I would highly recommend the Chateau for a date night out or a family meal. We will be back!

Will be coming back to dine! The service was clearly caring and thorough, with great ambiance and enthusiasm. The restaurant itself is beautiful, especially the porch overlooking the lake. The grilled chateaubriand steak was incredible! The specialty cocktails are to die for. The Chateau is deserving of its patrons’ praise and loyalty!

My wife and I ate here to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary! We were very dissatisfied! The Food was ok, but very over priced!!! The main dining room was very nice! However they sat us on the back porch which had a lake view! Unfortunately, the windows were covered with dead bugs and we saw a couple of ANTS on our table! Sorry , but we will not be returning to eat here in the Future!
