Book your special, one-of-a-kind dining experience with Bar-Ranch Steak Company? Primarily a craft butchery emporium open Wed-Sat, providing lunch from 11am-2pm featuring some of the best Dry-Aged burgers in the DFW area.
Then at the turn of the clock we transform into a exquisite fine dining establishment. With only 6 tables you will enjoy a very intimate setting with a unique view of our one-of-a-kind dry-aging room. Highlighted by a 300 sqft illuminated Himalayan salt wall, you will see cuts of prime and exotic beef such as Japanese Brown Wagyu (Akaushi), A4 & A5 Japanese Black Wagyu, Australian Wagyu, American Wagyu and some of the very best USDA Black Angus Beef you will ever experience.

As always, the best there is. Service is always impeccable, steaks are top notch, quality wise and flavor wise. The wood burning grill is a sight for sore eyes and a balm for sore nostrils!!! We are regulars and like most people we see there, it is almost impossible to finish one’s steak (I’m a big guy and a meat eater) as the portions are big and since the steaks are high grade, they automatically have a high fat (aka marbling) content (and hence contributing to the great flavor) so they are very filling, in a very satisfying way. I am confused about the review mentioning small portions! Their crispy potatoes is a must have. It sure is pricey but as the old cliché goes, you get what you pay for!

We found this place online and decided to try it out. First, let me say that the staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive to our questions. The ambience was great. The story of the owner, which is printed on the back of the menu was quite compelling. We were expecting a wonderful meal, and the smell of the fire and the meat cooking at the back of the restaurant really was increasing our expectations. However, that turned into abject disappointment when the Wagyu ribeyes that we ordered were brought to our table. We were expecting a beautiful thick cut. Instead, it looked like flank steak that you would get from your local supermarket at seven dollars a pound. It was sliced and cut up, which I did not care for. The middle was pink and cool. To the chefs credit, the steak did taste good and was very tender as expected. However, the presentation was severely lacking. On top of that, my friend steak looked quite a bit larger than mine, even though the waiter assured us that they were both 14 ounces. When I raised the disparity size to the chef, he gave some hand waving explanation about the characteristics of Waygu beef that I didn’t buy. But I didn’t have a scale to take out and weigh both steaks. Despite the ambience and the service, the meal was a huge disappointment. If you are expecting a beautiful thick Wagyu steak on your plate, be forewarned. The $25 asparagus side, which comes with a steak was a mere five stalks… a paltry amount for the price. We felt cheated for the price we were charged.

We had the most incredible experience celebrating my husband’s 36th birthday at Bar Ranch Steak Co. in Plano , our third time dining here, and it somehow managed to top the first! My in-laws even flew in just to come back to this spot with us , it’s that good!! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unmatched. The chef went above and beyond, personally including every item on the menu for our party to ensure everyone had something special. The steaks were, hands down, the best we’ve ever had; the wagyu was melt in your mouth perfection, cooked to perfection. As if that wasn’t enough, the chef took the time to walk us through the cuts of meat, how they’re prepared, and what makes them so unique. The passion and care that goes into every dish here is truly impressive. This place is more than a steakhouse , it’s a full experience, one we’ll be talking about for a long time. Can’t wait to come back again!

Our first time having dinner here. The service was phenomenal. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for which was a quiet and more intimate setting. It did not disappoint, we will be back for sure.

This was absolutely perfect in every way! The steak was phenomenal, the potatoes and brussels sprouts were so incredible and we had to have both desserts because we couldn't decide and the chef came out to tell us how he prepared them. The owner recommended the absolute, perfect wine pairing. This is an incredible experience, Highway recommend!
