This was our first time here but it won't be our last. To start, their homemade bread and butter pickles served when we were seated were delicious. I'm not usually a fan of bread and butter pickles due to their sweetness but these were seasoned just right and had a lovely crispness. We all ordered the vegetarian burgers. Two of us ordered their standard and one person ordered the veggie burger but with the blue cheese and black truffle oil. All burgers were really moist, the rolls were fresh, and the toppings were plentiful. As a side, we got the parmesan truffle fries which also had just the right amount of seasoning. We had an outdoor table, as the weather was perfect. Since the patio is a few steps down from the street level, the table gave us the advantage of the beautiful weather but the noise level was not loud at all. We all enjoyed the evening very much and will definitely be return customers.

A lovely evening dining on the outdoor patio, with extra special service from Justin. Service in this restaurant is really special. Even the person that brings out for food did it with a smile . If you like burgers as a special thing, as is the case for our guest, this is the place. Nice choice of wines by the glass. It is a neighborhood gem and fun to go to.

Nice atmosphere slow service on a not so busy afternoon. Good but expensive hamburgers. Relying heavily on the Capital brand. Better options for the price.

Great food and service, especially from Lilly and Logan, who ran to the kitchen on their own initiative to reserve the last piece of salmon for my preferred meal and make amazing drinks and provide great conversation.

Warm when we arrived- ached them to turn on AC- they did 👍 Food excellent/ correctly cooked- fries were good Beet not cold- came with frozen glass- I like cold beer. From bottle!!!

We always enjoyed the Capital Burger but yesterday it was terrible. It is very obvious that it has gone downhill. We got seated in an almost empty restaurant and sat and sat with no one coming to our table. I went downstairs to tell the man at the podium and he came up to look for someone but basically just stood there. Finally a waitress came and took our orders. We ordered the Capital burger which is their signature dish and usually excellent. IT WAS NOT! The cheese was melted on top of the caramelized onions changing the taste. The burger lacked the charcoal broiled taste that makes it good. It was obvious that it had been pre cooked earlier and warmed up when we ordered them since they came just five minutes after we ordered. To their credit they did not charge us for the burgers just our drinks. We would like to see the restaurant come back to what it once was but for our purposes we will go to better restaurants instead.
