Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! Will definitely return to try other dishes!!!
Beautiful view of the city. Pricey meals but worth if for occasional dining.
I made the reservations and received reminders. We were greeted at the hostess table. Service was efficient without being intrusive. We all enjoyed our three different meals which arrived at our table fresh and hot. Server accommodated our needs very well. Great view even on the most wintry of days.
Disappointed that they took away all the "Made in Manitoba" menu options. Appetizers were not very shareable. VERY limited options for vegetarians (ie. ONE menu item, or salad). Did not like the automatic gratuity for parties larger than 6 (we were 6, plus a toddler). Desserts were CRAZY EXPENSIVE for what you got... It was a very quiet night and our service was not great.... our server was tipped VERY well for doing a poor job. Overall, quite disappointed.
The restaurant is lovely with a great view of winnipeg! Most of the food in our party of 6 was good but the beef tenderloin with the squash puree was horrible. The squash was cold and the meat was overwhelmed by it and there were no other sides. The buns were 2 days old and dry.
The mandatory tip of 18% was simple extortion.
We weren't completely satisfied. We went for the Sunday brunch.
The food in the warmers was not hot.
Fruit trays had a good variety.
Omelets were hot.
Dessert table, dry pastry and tarts, crumbly danities.
Our server was excellent!
We will go again to give it another try.
Hopefully next time it will be better!
(Sorry to say this, but there's always room for improvement)
Brunch food was tastier than normal.. Unltd coffee 9s nice but juice is pretty expensive.
Loved the view and our server was amazing however the food was average
I was there with my wife for our first anniversary. We had our best time. The service is pretty good and staff is very friendly. The servers are in no rush which leads you to enjoy your quality time.
Great service! Staff are super attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic. View amazing.
Very poor Sunday Brunch. Arrived at opening time of 1030 am and majority of hot foods were ice cold. On the positive side, awesome staff. Not sure how they can stay open when foods not kept at safe heating levels.
We had an amazing experience at Prairie 360. The service was exceptional, the food was exquisite and the view was breathtaking. We dont go on dates the way we used to, so this place was perfect for a classy night out.
While the view and novelty were great, the price and the food were not. I would not recommend having dinner here. I would come back for an appetizer, drink or dessert though.
That being said, the staff were wonderful and amazing, the restaurant and washrooms were very clean. The noise was a little loud but that might be a byproduct of the restaurant design.
I went for the brunch buffet for the first time in about 7 years and the food was very poor quality. This was super disappointing (the photos of their lunch and dinner plates look really good!)
The hashbrowns tasted super disgusting, like they were a day old- and we reserved the earliest time slot in the day so everything should have been as fresh as possible at that point. Quality of all the buffet meat options seemed pretty low grade too. Some of my girlfriends food was cold. Again, we were the first people through the door so that really shouldn't happen.
Selection was not great either. No waffles, no french toast or regular toast, no bagels or muffins, only croissants were available. Eggs were either scrambled or you could get an omelette made. No sunny side up, hardboiled options, etc. They did have a small selection of desserts which was mostly brownies. I tried one and it was not bad but nothing to write home about. I believe the fruit platter was melon, cantaloupe and pineapple only. Fruit tasted fresh but I kind of expected more options here for a $30 buffet.
Couldn't find any salt or pepper at any of the tables which was kind of annoying since the eggs had no flavour. We only saw our waiter three times in about 1.5 hours so drink refills were sparse (the place was only 1/3 full when we arrived and about 1/2 full by the time we left).
All in all, what wasn't inedible was incredibly overpriced here. Save your money and go absolutely anywhere else for brunch. Perhaps ordering off the menu for breakfast on another day is a better option but I don't have the heart to give it a try after this experience.
Amazing! I loved how the restaurant slowly spun to soak in all of Canada!
We arrived just as the sun was setting and it was gorgeous. The views of the city were amazing. Service was incredibly friendly and curtious. Food was good but nothing extrodinary, prices were fair.
Great food. Nice view of the city. Great dining experiences.
It was great but we forgot our to go food.
Service was prompt, but we did not feel rushed. Server was knowledgable and made good recommendations. The view was amazing and ever-changing. The restaurant was quiet. Dessert was complimentary for a birthday celebration.
We had two birthdays in the family and chose Prairie 360 as we were looking for a different experience. We had been to this restaurant over ten years ago for lunch and thought it was time to go again. The outdoor glass elevator is worth taking on the way up and the ambience and view were both memorable and enjoyed by our group of 8. We all enjoyed our meals choosing the salmon, steak and thai bowls and both birthday desserts offered. They took care of our parkade tickets as well. All in all a very pleasant and warm reception and experience. We went for the experience, the food and view and were not disappointed. A must-do for anyone looking for an enjoyable, warm and relaxed atmosphere or for a special occasion. This really is one of Winnipeg's best kept secrets.
The pork tenderloin was excellent, as was the In the Sky Canard, however the mashed vegetable that accompanied the duck had a strange texture. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was perfect for a date. The view is great for any time of day, even at night.
It was very disappointing!
The food was cold, the platters were empty and staff would not replenish them. There was no milk!!! ( this was a brunch!!) The desserts were dry and stale and definitely store- bought! The staff could not even tell us if they were peanut free!!
It was embarrassing as we had guests from Europe.
Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRUNCH TO ANYONE!
The view was great, obviously, but the food was good and the people were friendly!
We started with a Caesar salad, which was good. My wife had the duck and I had the striploin. Both dishes we cooked well, we just felt they were very mediocre, and the whole meal to be very expensive. The decor was outdated looking, and the restaurant was empty for 7:30 on a Friday evening. I'd rather have great food, with the view as an added bonus. It seems you're paying for the view, and the food is just secondary.
Great atmosphere, wonderful service but the food menu a little disappointing. Pasta dish was vey spicy, not enjoyable and the Greek salad was not what was expected. Sorry, but very disappointing.
Place was beautiful with the scenery and considering the rotation of the setting felt like so mind blowing that the view was worth going there! Food was decent in a way we wish our portions were bigger, but overall it was so delicious that I’d like to go back and try something else! Our server was really helpful and really accommodating.
We used to love Prairie 360. We came for my birthday / thanksgiving amd all three of us did not like our meals. The turkey was rubbery, the steak with purée was like soup and the lamb dinner was more like an appetizer. The lobster was good.
I was embarrassed that I raved about it and brought my Mother with us. Unfortunately the new menu is a significant down grade, it’s too bad. Regrettably we won’t be back. We still gave the server a 16% tip, it wasn’t his fault and he was good.
Thanks for asking for feedback, I think it’s fair to be honest. We never mind paying $200 for dinner if it’s worth it.
We took a close family friend and our granddaughter for the long-weekend Sunday brunch Thanksgiving buffet. Everyone agreed, the food is good, nothing amazing, which is our usual experience. But the view is always spectacular and today was a clear fall day, so we appreciated it. I wish there had been more than one choice of salad dressing, not just the dill-ranch, or whatever that was. We’ve found the breakfast sausages have a bit of a stale, freezer burnt taste. I was able to find pepper at the carving station but no salt, although I never asked our server. Highlights include, very good coffee, the shrimp and smoked salmon are always popular with us. The roast beef is cooked to a nice medium rare, although it’s never very warm ( that’s hard to do at a buffet I think and I prefer colder medium rare to warm well-done, any day).
We’re planning to keep coming back every once in awhile. The food is fine, the staff and service is always friendly, and the view can’t be beat, if you’re into that sort of thing. Make sure you ride the glass exterior elevator from the main floor to the 28th. Then take the interior elevator to the 30th. We were disappointed the exterior elevator was not in service for our exit ride down.
We booked our table a week before for my wife’s birthday and was so excited to dine. We waited for 40 minutes for the food to arrive and unfortunately they were wrong with my dad’s order. The food are not that terrible but the serving is so small. The ambiance is fantastic but the food was not that great. Vegies are not fresh, terrible service . We won’t recommend it as it is pricy and not worth it. Nothing is special aside from dining 30 floors up.
My wife and I came for our anniversary. Our server Cassandra was very kind and provided great service. The atmosphere was quiet, and made it easy to enjoy our dinner. The food came out in good time, and everything we had was delicious. Thank you.
The food is good but not outstanding; the reason to go is the view. It’s probably a more interesting experience for locals because you are bound to see many neighbourhoods and parts of the city you are familiar with. The view of the Museum for Human Rights and Forks area is likely of particular interest for visitors to Winnipeg.
The view is amazing and the service is very good. The collective Steak is wonderful except the side sauce that is very vinegary., same as the coleslaw of the chicken. The chicken is so so. It was kind of dry and no taste. We hope to see more on the menu list for a lot of selections like pasta and other meat selections.
Very difficult to get to. Once there very nice. Felt like amazing race to find it.
Went for our anniversary, started off well with good drinks and a tasty starter, we got the Elote which tasted very good however maybe a little bit too much goat cheese but still delicious. Then it got bad. My husband and I both ordered a steak dinner. Him the $50 14oz ribeye and myself a $45 12oz NY strip. What we got were the thinnest pieces of steak I’ve ever received and both were wildly over cooked, over seasoned and excessively charred. Mine also was not trimmed well as I got a mouthful of silver skin. Always lovely having to spit out food because you can’t physically chew it in what’s supposed to be a nice restaurant. The potatoes were dry and flavourless and the veggies were undercooked. Told our server and she seemed annoyed with us, yet at the same time seemed used to it. Sent it back and we both ordered the $33 spaghetti and meatballs instead because we didn’t trust them with grilled food anymore. Meatballs were definitely frozen before, as they were dry and bland. Pasta was drowning in sauce with too much of some sort of seasoning that made it have a bit of spice but added no real flavour. Overall we were very disappointed. The view was spectacular but the carpets were dirty, looked like water damage around some of the windows and the wall paneling by my husbands arm was falling off. They kept the lights up pretty bright so seeing outside when it got really dark was difficult and the speakers have obviously been blown as the music quality was terrible. Didn’t get any kind of discount from the terrible food, no offering of a free dessert and no real apologies either, just didn’t have to pay for the steaks. $145 for bad food, poor environment, and mediocre service? Not worth it. Save your money.
We had a fabulous time, thank you. We had a beautiful day, so good views. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which is something very important to me as on occasions staff in other restaurants are very condescending. Very down putting in my opinion. I had a friend visiting from overseas, so it was the perfect choice. Food was great, great choices and you served a decent cup of coffee. Thank you very much. I will recommend you. I wasent sure about the noise level question, but everything was perfect.
Went for the brunch. Unfortunately did not have sugar free syrup, nor did they have salt & pepper on the table.
My out of town guests were impressed. They had heard so many negative comments about Winnipeg. They did not know a revolving restaurant existed here and helped to change their outlook of Wpg. They enjoyed the food and service also.
I booked a reservation online and they asked what the occasion was. It happened to be our anniversary but it was never mentioned to us when we arrived. Why bother asking if it means nothing anyways. We were sat at our table quickly which was nice. The table was bare with two glasses on it. When our server arrived he had asked a staff member to prepare our table. I would have preferred to have waited a few moments before seating to arrive to a prepared table. We ordered a bottle of wine and the Grand beach platter which contains clams, shrimp, mussels, lobster, chorizo, corn, and fingerling potatoes. I don’t know about you but I think lobster is best with some melted butter. But I guess that was not available. I did have some butter remaining from the bread we had to start so I put that on the lobster. Although the food was not warm enough to melt it. Oh well.
The view was the best part and why we chose this location in the first place. I feel there is so much more potential for this restaurant to be great. Maybe that is why I felt let down.
My wife and I still enjoyed our night. We tried something new and had some time to ourselves with our little one.
Ps. Our server actually did a great job and without him I don’t think this review would have been written the same.
The server was pleasant, but he just seemed a bit off. There were a few things that were unavailable on the menu and he informed us in sort of an awkward way. The food was okay, but nothing amazing. The manager greeted us with a somewhat aloof manner and I didn't see him smile once all night long.
The view is wonderful.
Entertaining visitors to Winnipeg /Manitoba and this is the perfect place to view our beautiful city. Menu has good variety. Food was ok but it was later on a Sunday and am sure that had an effect. Service was very good. Would definitely return.
