   Cozy restaurant, friendly staff. We went for an early dinner so the restaurant was not busy. Wished the food was as good as the ambience - the trio hummus was a let down, blend and way too spicy. The grilled salmon was ok. Nothing spectacular. All in in - meh.

   Always a winner. Both of us has our favorite - chicken salad sandwich. Lovely ambience. Makes me feel as if I’m in Paris. Wonderful service. It’s like visiting an old friend. Truly. The best.

   French-Moroccan. Nice ambience. Just here for the first time for a quick in and out dinner before a movie. Really recommend the Moroccan Spiced Shrimp with couscous and snow peas. My friend had the French Onion soup (which looked amazingly) and the mushroom risotto. Will be back again.

   All of the food we had was delicious - fragrant, perfectly seasoned and spiced, and attractively plated - but we especially enjoyed the crab cakes and mussels. Our server was friendly and professional. I’d visit again in a heartbeat.

    My husband and I, went here for Valentines Day! The food was absolutely amazing!!, we will be back soon! The Chicken Targine was delicious! The host and staff were very friendly and accommodating!

    This was our first time at this restaurant. Decided to go for pre-movie dinner. Service was slow. Cocktails and wine selection excellent. Food was alright. We decided this may be a good back-up place for drinks & dinner, but not a must-go-back.

    My friends and I have been to Bar Six a few times since it is close to our work. Unfortunately this time around, we felt rushed even though the restaurant was not busy. Waitstaff took our appetizers before we were even finished and proceeded to give us our entree. Last time we went the food was excellent but my party can't say the same this time. Food is still good. Also this is the first that they included the gratuity to our bill. Had never been done before and we had the same number of people the last time we were there.

    Charming older room that appealed to me very much. The service was really professional and the food was delicious. Will go there again - it is around the corner from the Quad theater - great for pre or post movie meal.

    A really lovely place to have an informal meal. Tasty food, a good wine list, great ambiance and very friendly staff. Not over expensive and there is no hurry to move you on.

    Food is terrific but they seem to be simulating a Parisian restaurant i.e. service is not great. They even seated my guest at the wrong table and we sat there for 15 min not knowing the other had arrived since we were on opposite sides of a partition. So just be prepared to chase after the service people for service.

    All five of us enjoyed the restaurant. Most of us had the chicken tagine, which was very good. We were there on Christmas Eve, and the restaurant was full (we had a reservation of course), but, still, the waitress must have asked us 6 times if we were ready to order dinner yet, when it was clear we had just gotten our cocktails and needed a bit of time. I also thought it was presumptuous to include a 20% tip on the bill.

    Hadn't been to Bar Six in awhile, and was pleased that it was still a lovely place to have lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good -- we all ordered burgers. And atmosphere was comfortable.

    Every single dish we tried was great. Between the four of us we shared four apps and three mains and each were special In their own right. The Moroccan influences were spectacular and it was a comfortable cozy place to grab dinner. We will be back

    Food is fantastic. Price is very reasonable for the area. The only issue I had was that the tables are so close together which makes the noise level very loud. and tight. It was difficult to hear the people in my dinner party. My friend s and I would definitely go back but perhaps at an earlier time.

    I found this place randomly (searching for restaurants near F Train stops) but it was one of the nicest everyday dining places I’ve found lately. Lovely atmosphere - a pretty little place that is lively but not too loud to talk. Great service. The Moroccan influence on typical French bistro fare was a nice twist. Also a very well priced wine list. A low key gem!

    I go to this restaurant frequently - for drinks, lunch, dinner. Its food is excellent - check out the chicken tagine! - and the ambiance is kind of Parisian bohemian downtown. I have no hesitations recommending it for business or pleasure.

    None of my friends appreciate the high noise levels that seem to be the fashion at contemporary eateries, and neither do I. That's why I won't recommend Bar Six, even though it's an affordable place with pretty good food. It's simply unbearable to try to have a conversation with everyone shouting all around you. Why not be part of a new trend and create a cool, quiet atmosphere that's conducive to REAL conversation? I guess the answer is that your formula works for the majority of your patrons. But not for me.

It looks like from your reservation that you visited us on a Friday which is usually the busiest day for us and it can often get very loud. You will notice from other reviews however that that is not usually the case. Should you decide to return you on a different day of the week you will find out that we are a cozy quiet neighborhood bistro.
