It was SO loud and freezing. Felt like a nightclub with tacos. And only two tacos in the entree instead of the standard three. Too expensive for what it was. Wanted to leave right after we got there.

Went for my 30th birthday brunch with friends. Great bottomless mimosa deal, and they brought me a fun birthday surprise! Food was really good but we all said we would have wanted more food on our plates for what we paid. But will go back again for the bottomless mimosas!

Takito Kitchen is one of our go-to's when we're in the mood for tacos. It was a nice surprise to find out that we could order tacos by the piece on Tuesdays! We had the steak, barbacoa, mushrooms, fish, and croquet. All delicious!

Went to the Wicker Park location during restaurant week. My SO did the RW special. The ceviche was delicious, but the octopus dish was tad disappointing. The octopus was a little overcooked and the potatoes were unseasoned. Admittedly, it can be a difficult protein to cook. My tacos were delicious, barbacoa and chicken. Cocktails were good and the service was also good. We’ll try again.

Food was very good but service was on the slow side and towards the end we were practically rushed out. I understand when the kitchen needs to start closing down but last call for the bar was close to 9pm on a Saturday night during restaurant week.

This was my first time here and it was amazing. Service was exceptional, waiter recommended some awesome dishes for us and he was on top of everything all night. Highly recommend and will for sure be coming back.

The waitress was not really letting us know about the specials they had and she didn’t want to accommodate my friend on her food that she ordered and it was not good to her. Just the customer service was not all that at all. The manager was nice and it was another waiter who had checked on us to make sure our glasses were filled and the waitress did not. I’m a manager and the next step would be for the team to be coached on how to service clients better and earn that TIP!!!

We recently went to Takito for the first time and really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. The dishes were full of flavor and the staff really care about their customers. And the house margarita is delicious! Would recommend!!

Food and drinks were great. There was so issues with the service. We asked for separate checks when we ordered which the server didn’t seem to understand. After he said he would do it he actually did not. We ordered tacos separately but the server insisted that they be served “family style”. This didn’t work due to some dietary restrictions (vegan) and preferences. We were able to sort that out on our own though. Although the server was friendly he seemed out of his depth and probably needed so more training. We we finally got the check there is a survey that pops up after you day on the machine. Our server snatched the machine away before we could complete the survey and completed it himself.

The service was great. The margaritas look great but were not good at all. Even the flavored ones taste like something I can make at home with a lime margarita mixer. They were very sour and did not taste like the intended flavor. The chimchurri steak was not good in my opinion. Some of the people in my group enjoyed it but I did not. I wish we had been asked how we like our steak cooked. Everyone received medium rare steaks. If you like medium rare you’ll love it but if you like your meat well cooked then I wouldn’t recommend it.

The service and food were wonderful. Variety of really unique and tasty tacos at a great price. The lobster tacos were my absolute favorites. Margaritas were delicious as well. Definitely will go back.

I know 3 months had past, but my experience here was wasn’t what I expected! I had a party of about 17 people who were all there to celebrate my birthday and the service was great! I forgot our waitress’s name because of all the shots, but what do remember is that she had glasses and she was so up beat and fun the whole time! Each time I was given a shot, she was always cheerful saying “The birthday girl knows what time it is!” She was constantly checking up on us and was able to give us what we needed! After the fact, everyone who attended talked about how much fun they had and how great the service was. Definately recommending this place! Thanks!
