The food was hit or miss. The drinks 10/10. The service was super quick. Even with a packed house ! Would go back. Just wouldn't get the pu pu platter. Half the things on there weren't good. The steak skewers were our fav !

I’ve been to this venue one other time, the drinks are so creative. Great presentation. Ambience on point, especially in the bamboo room we were in today. But we had a bartender that barely acknowledged me and partner, it felt like we were bothering her to ask her for anything.

Fun and unique ambiance for special occasions. More of a restaurant vibe than a bar. Staff was pretty rude. No one in our large group enjoyed the overly sweet drinks, although they were certainly festive and served in fun glassware. Security searched our group on exit looking for stolen glassware. I'm sure that happens all the time, but it feels pretty insulting.

Something special about getting a reservation with OpenTable and then blowing past a huge line of people waiting to get a spot in a hot cocktail bar like Three Dots and a Dash. Elaborate ELABORATE tiki drinks that will sneak up on you. And impossibly ridiculously ornate glassware. Definitely worth a visit.

Very, very hip spot that is a must for cocktails when staying near the river. I have rated very high but let me share a few things important to know prior to visit. First, explore the cocktail menu beforehand so you can know what you want to drink- the menu, while very entertaining, consists of 20+ rum-based exotic cocktails that all have an ingredient or two you have probably never heard of. It is definitely an interesting read. Plus it is very dark ( and loud) and hard to see if you have old eyes like me. My wife is not a rum drinker but we had searched earlier and gave the Symboney(sp.?) a try, which she enjoyed. I studied the bar and don’t think I saw any options other than rum. Drinks are not too pricey all things considered. A phone call (not on-line) to a friendly staff allowed for a last minute addition of 2 locals that my daughter was hoping to see while we were in town- very accommodating gesture!, There’s a floor show going on all around you and it’s great fun! This was our second visit and will make it a third upon my next visit to Chicago!

What a great place to spend a nice evening celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary! We were in the Bamboo Room and just loved the vibe of the music as well as the hushed tones of other diners. The drinks were AMAZING! The food was delicious too. Looking forward to coming back!

Great rum experience. Arrived early for our booking at The Bamboo Room so had initial drinks in the main bar of Three Dots & a Dash. A busy/noisy night with a crush at the bar, most of the tables/booths being reserved. Promptly served with some fantastic drinks through. Moved thereafter to the quieter Bamboo Room for a more select offering of rums & cocktails. Partook in a few and also the food. Pleasantly surprised by the food offerings in both the quality and portion size. Would definitely recommend a visit

Paid the mandatory reservation deposit of $10 per person for a 4 person reservation on Sept 4,2023. The deposit wasn't applied to my final bill, and now I can't get the refund processed via management, despite being told it would be processed by the restaurant. Something to keep in mind when making your own reservations.

We went when it was hot outside. It was even as hot inside. It took away from the experience. The drinks are good, but not for the price. Even with the experience, it wasn’t worth the money. Super cool vibe though. Great server.

Food was very pricey and not worth it for how much it costs. Drinks are very strong, so if you’re looking for a fun night, this is your calling. Waiter and hostess was very nice & accommodating because we sent our drink back once and ordered another one, but it still was tasting too strong, so they agreed to take it off the bill.

Celebrated my bday here it was my first time here and let me tell you they did not disappoint!! The drinks are so good and the food selection is perfect and so good more than what I expected. My group and I had such a great time so if you’re looking for a place with great food, drinks (especially) and great tiki decor this is the place.

It was really nice and fun! However, it was my Mom's birthday and I asked for her to be acknowledged by bringing something special to the table and I was disappointed that didn't happen! Other than that, we had a really good time!

A fun place to go but not willing to be hospitable for special requests. Reservation was for 2 people and we had two friends that wanted to join us because it was my birthday. Our table could seat four by adding the stump chairs that they did for other tables like ours but the hostess said they could not come. I don't feel it was an unreasonable request, I realize our reservation was not for 4, but they didn't even attempt in the slightest to accommodate and the table next to us sat empty for an hour and 45 minutes anyway until we were getting up to leave.

We arrived early and they were able to seat us pretty quickly which was nice. The bartender left for a while. The drinks were ok but it’s more about the presentation. The food was amazing and the sauces. I’ll come back and maybe try other drinks. The drink menu is the drink menu so even though they say full bar don’t expect to order not off the menu.
