Food was good. My beef choices were high quality and just the right size. One of my entrees was the potstickers and each time they fell off the fork. It would be nice if they offered a smaller inexpensive salad.
Waitress was very helpful.

My son loves the melting pot and we go each year for his birthday. He just turned 16. Every time that we go, the host / hostess manages to be very rude and leaves us with a bad impression. This year his birthday was on a Wednesday and we knew the restaurant would not be busy, however, I made a reservation to avoid the nasty hostess reception. Our reservation was at 5:15, and we arrived 15 minutes late at 5:30. As expected, the restaurant was empty - so empty that they did not even have a host or hostess. After waiting about 7 minutes, the manager finally showed. We explained that we had a reservation and he said, "I will do my best to seat you, but you may have to wait a bit because you are late." Again, the restaurant was empty with almost no tables full. After waiting about another 15 minutes, he finally showed us to our table. As we walked through a maze of empty tables, it mad me so angry to be treated so badly at an expensive restaurant. I wish my son would find a new favorite restaurant so we could stop coming to the Melting Pot. They need a serious training on kindness, service and sales.

I knew the menu was pricy before showing up for a fun birthday dinner, but we expected the food to be worth the cost. Far from it. Spent over $100 for two, all for some melted cheese, breads, veggies. chunked up pieces of meat, and then some melted chocolate with bite sized dessert. No way it should be that pricy. Given how average the food was as well, we could do better fondue and dips at home. For way less. Change the price, and maybe it would be worth the experience.

My phone fell into a crevice in the booth they sat us at. It took them 25 minutes to scoop it out with a coat hanger in the middle of dinner. The manager intimated it was my fault even though she and the server also admitted it happens quite often. It ruined my dinner and embarrassed me. If you know something is a problem, why not fix it? I will never eat here again. They did not even offer to comp anything and scratched my brand new iPhone in the process of retrieving it. I guess they don't value repeat business. Thanks for nothing.

I was a little disappointed at first because when I made the reservation we had asked for a larger booth due to the need for two burners and one of our guests is a fairly big guy. The wait staff argued with us that those booths are for parties of 6 and she’d have to see what she could do. Twice she returned to our table one time stating she could put us in a back room larger half booth half table where there was a larger party in progress. This was my daughters 20th birthday and we wanted a special occasion!!! I was frustrated at this point. Finally the manager came over and told us she could move us to the larger booth. And btw the rest of the night was not extremely busy for them. If I had not requested the larger booth when I made the birthday reservation I could see the issue but we did and still had a problem which was very frustrating. The bill ended up being over $300! You’d think they value that level of spend a bit more. Frustrating!

Great first time experience with my husband. Very filling even though everything comes in waves and you have to wait a while for it to cook. We went for restaurant week. Think that is the best bang for your buck. Tables for 2 are cozy & romantic. Our server, Alexandria, was energetic, fun and definitely on top of her game!

The lights are very bright and white. They hang low and make you feel like you are in an interrogation. I would suggest replacing the light bulbs with dimmer warmer bulbs. It was very very quiet in the restaurant. And the bacon Gorgonzola cheese melt was a bit stronger than advertised. But still good. Overall the service was great. And the drinks were Beyond delicious.

The ambiance, service and company was great. I didn’t care for the choice of veggies on my cheese fondue option. Instead of only carrots, celery and brócoli, how about bell peppers, onions, bok Choi, zucchini and squash. And maybe small potatoes. Just more choices in that area. I did love the apples, breads and cherry tomatoes. Maybe there were other choices that I did not see on the menu, that would be my bad. Also, maybe some new choices served with the derserts, the desserts as I remember, serves all of the same things 5 years ago, as even they did last night. I absolutely love the fruits, pound cake and more simple things. Why not add some more simple things so the sauces really shine. Like, more types of fruit, pretzels , hard thin breadsticks, small pieces of crepes or waffles, nuts. Just some ideas. We will definitely be back as we really love the whole concept.
Thanks again for a great evening

Overall a great experience. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they had everything set up exactly as I had requested. Service was amazing and food was very good. Not a cheap experience but you don’t go there for fast food. I requested a private booth so the atmosphere was nice and cozy, a little dark. Perfect for a romantic dinner.

This was my first experience at the Melting Pot. It was really fun and definitely unique compared to any other restaurant I've been to before. If you do a 4 course meal allow 1.5-2 hours for dinner. It's also more expensive than I'm used to but was worth it for a special occasion. Definitely won't be a "weekly" joint, etc.

A must for Birthday and fun celebrations with your son/daughter. Ying/Yang chocolate fondu is our favorite dessert that you should try.
