I've written previous reviews. I always keep coming back because the food is excellent, the service attentive, and the noise level moderate. What more could we want? I tried the Coquilles St Jacques this time and they were delicious.

We had a fabulous time! The service was outstanding and the food was fresh and prepared well. The prices were a little steep for certain things, but overall considering the location and the quality, I'd say it was worth it. I was glad we were there early when it was nice and quiet.

They did NOT pay attention to how I wanted my food. The salmon was over cooked and dry, with few mushrooms and little sauce. I’ve been ordering this dish since I started going to this restaurant shortly after its opening; the salmon was much better then. Fortunately, my friend was pleased with her omelet, which she said was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed being able to sit outside on a moderate day in August.

First time trying Jean Claude 2, and was not disappointed. I wanted that authentic French bistro feel and food, and got it. Well, with an added helping of very good service. Really a nice meal.

In all my many years of dining out I have never met a more accommodating and caring staff, ever! They make you feel like you are at multi star Michelin restaurant. The menu is a rare mixture of fish and meats, done French/Mediterranean style. Every item on the menu is worthy of trying. Amongst all the fine dining on the UES Jean Claude stands out.

Pretty place, nice service, food was a disappointment- - my mussels were prepared so fancy! But I could not fine the mussels, just lots of shells and too much toppings, usually done to disguise the dish! IMO. Beet salad was something one would get over the counter at a deli. Sorry but if you charge these prices you need to step up.

Three of us enjoyed a lovely brunch on a rainy Sunday to celebrate a birthday and a new job. This may be my new favorite spot, though Orsay is wonderful. The staff was très gentille and pleasantly surprised us by singing, “Happy birthday, Miss America!” to my beautiful friend. The service, food, and ambience were wonderful. Chocolate mousse par excellence. It was quiet, and we were able to stay for about three hours, perhaps because it wasn’t a full house due to the inclement weather. Une belle restaurant

I order steak frites almost always. One out of three times, the steak is terrible-fatty, overcooked, or chewy. Consistency is a problem.
