   Short Ribs were fantastic! Lamb meatballs were amazing! Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Worth every penny spent.

   The food was excellent as was the service. We ate inside as it was cooler but the outside courtyard is quaint. My lasagna was creamy and delicious and the different spin the caprese salad was my wife’s favorite .. very fresh with artichoke, avocado, cucumber and roasted pistachios in addition the traditional ingredients .

   Great food and service! We brought our dog and sat out on the patio, luckily they had heaters out side and we were all warm and comfortable. Our server was the best, she created a spicy margarita for me that was not on the menu. One of our favorite restaurants to take our dog to when visiting Carmel.

    We love our table on the patio so that we can have our dog join us for lunch. Our waiter is the best, he knows us by now and makes sure that our dogs get the grilled chicken breast sone right. The lentil soup was excellent and so was the pizza and pasta. Love the spumoni dessert too. We'll be back for our monthly dining experience.

    Great menu filled with healthy eating options. We dined here 3 times and I had the rigatoni Amatriciana all three times. Consistently great. We also tried the heirloom tomato salad which was excellent, as were the roasted veg. My husband tried the salmon, loved it. The service is very good, people take great pride in what they're offering. Highly recommend

    We have eaten here many times and keep coming back. We enjoy the food and the service. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the food is very tasty. They are dog friendly outside. A very enjoyable dinner, brunch or lunch location!

    Service was excellent. Busy evening and still attentive. Problem with the taste of a salad and they were appropriately responsive. The cobbler was an excellent desert.

    Very cold in restaurant. Everyone in restaurant wearing their coats and multiple diners wearing hats. Food was decent but well overpriced. The bread was particularly egregiously priced at $9 for 5 small pieces of focaccia.

    Always enjoy having lunch with friends and our dogs. Our dogs appreciate getting the grilled chicken breast for lunch although this time the portion was a wee bit small for three dogs.

    We ordered a bottle of wine but it took a long time for them to finally find it. One order was put in wrong so I ate while we waited for the other order to be made/corrected. No compensation for the delays. Our server was friendly but was very busy with many other tables. Food was delicious.

    Food was delicious but smallish on portion size making it expensive for Italian. Took our own wine -$35 for corkage seemed excessive especially we ended up pouring everything except the first glass. Staff was friendly and professional.

    Excellent service and knowledgeable wine recommendations from our server. We appreciated the range of vegetarian options. The food was only average however. One of us had the roasted vegetable platter, the other had the Rigatoni Amatriciana. Flavors were bland in both dishes.

    We sat outside and the tables are very close together. They are dog friendly but when you get a barker it can be annoying. My daughter had the vegan fusilli arrabiatta and I had the tagliatelle bolognese. Both were very good. Carlos, our server, was attentive and answered all the questions we had regarding making entrees vegan.

    Had a wonderful dinner Alina beautiful setting for mom’s birthday. Everything we ordered, and that everyone else around us ordered, was well presented and smelled amazing. I could tell this was the place to be because people kept flooding the courtyard, reservation or not. The staff did their best to accommodate those who hadn’t planned ahead. The meal was pricey, but this is Carmel and everything in the world is expensive right now. While I could only afford to eat here but occasionally, it’s one of the places I would choose to save up for.

    This was our last dinner in Carmel and it was the best. The food was outstanding - we had pork osso buco and butternut squash ravioli - and the service was excellent. Most definitely, we would eat there again.

    I do love and appreciate the quality of the food. Fran to table, organic and beautifully prepared I did not enjoy the lack of service. I had a reservation and stood waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come to the host stand before just taking it upon myself to grab someone from the kitchen. I sat outside, the table I was at was not level which is a pet peeve of mine when eating. Service again was low to non attentive . I ordered the vegan vegetable entree which was delicious!! How ever the amount of food in the plate was appetizer size, definitely not a $26 Entree. So that was majorly disappointing and would not have me coming back. I will always pay more for good quality food , however I will not support overpaying for a few bites of it. I feel the value for what you pay for is just not there.

    Our monthly outing to Carmel and our first stop is Basil. We love that our dogs can relax while we dine on the patio. We love our waiter who brings water for our dogs and knows that our dogs like the chicken for lunch. We’ll be back next month!
