   I have dines here many tomes over the years and know that it is very loud and you can almost not hear the people at your own table. However, last night the service was poor and they ran out of napkins! We were given 1 napkin for 3 people and when we asked for napkins they only gave us a few cocktail napkins. Also, they were very stingy overall with the “extras” (protein with salad, pickles, ketchup, etc). Hope this was just a bad night because it was definitely not the experience you should have when you go out!

   We love Union Straw and come 3-4 times a month. We always have a wonderful experience, with delicious food and attentive/ personable staff. Tonight Anthony took great care of us and despite it being busy, he made sure we received top notch service. I also love how they rotate their food and drink menu with the seasons while keeping their classics year round. As a vegetarian, I always find something I can enjoy and my husband, who eats meat, also always find something he enjoys. Lastly, they are very careful and respectful with allergies, which goes a long way. I highly recommend Union Straw (10/10) and always bring friends and family when they are in town!

   We were a family of 8 attending an event at Gillette stadium. I highly recommend Union Straw in Foxborough. Only 4 miles from Gillette. Emily was so kind and patient trying to fit our family in their busy day at the restaurant. We were placed in a beautiful quiet room in the back that overlooked the street. Lots of natural light and we shared the room with another party of 9. Michaela was our server. She did a phenomenal job serving 2 very large parties. The food was outstanding! We had pulled pork nachos that were so tasty and flavorful. Chicken wings were very meaty and so good. Our party ordered salmon, scallops, steak with shrimp, chicken Alfredo, caesar salads and crab cakes. Everything was delicious! Michaela was genuine and pleasant. Her recommendations did not disappoint. She was cheerful and efficient. She engaged in conversation and we enjoyed our experience at Union Straw. I highly recommend this restaurant!

   They seemed unprepared for Mother’s Day. They were out of the first three things we tried to order and service was slow. Fish had lots of bones; but they apologized profusely and immediately took it off the bill.

   Disappointing Mother’s Day Brunch Experience We visited for Mother’s Day brunch. Despite arriving ten minutes after they opened, it took an hour before our food arrived. . When the food finally did come out, it was underwhelming at best. My wife ordered the eggs benedict special, which, according to the menu, was supposed to come on an English muffin. Instead, it arrived without one, and one of the poached eggs was cooked nearly solid—more hard-boiled than soft and runny. My son and I ordered scrambled eggs and pancakes. The eggs were clearly made from powdered eggs, like at a low budget hotel buffet. . Not what you’d hope for at a sit-down brunch. Overall, the service was good but the food quality didn’t match the occasion. Sadly, it’s doubtful that we will be back anytime soon.

   Took around 15 mins to get seated for the reservation but not a problem really.. food and staff as usual were good!

    I had salmon and my wife had scallops, both were excellent. Our waitress was great, she knew when to come by without being intrusive and was fast with everything we ordered or asked for. There was enough variety on the menu to bring me back again. We were celebrating Mother's Day so we went more entree, but there were good choices under other catagories that I would like to try.
