Location great. Food good. Service excellent. Main issue I had is one person in our party ordered a bourbon with a rock (ice). When we get bill we see we were charged $2 for the rock. $2 for frozen water? Thought that was absurd

Hello Civi, you were not charged for the ice. Bourbon on the rocks is a type of drink; an up-charge on account of a higher pour count. We use jiggers for accurate pours with bourbon and scotch. Perhaps, we could adjust the phraseology on the bill. We apologize for the miscommunication, however, we appreciate your feedback as this may have been a concern with others.

Nice place, our server Natasha was great but the kitchen and bar were VERY slow. Food is pretty good and drinks were great just took over an hour to get anything.

Food was outstanding, waitress was very nice and friendly, little noisy due to band but they were also very good, would very much return on our next visit to lake George, and they also surprised us with dessert with candle for my grandsons 21st birthday

Overall a good experience. Small plates/apps were decent, drinks were great. Burgers were over cooked and the steak I ordered Medium Rare was cooked well past medium. @ $28 for a strip steak and fries it should have came out perfect. Not one to send food back, but the kitchen staff needs to learn to temp meat properly

Gaslight made for a memorable evening out for our multigenerational party of 9. Delicious food (try the Brussels sprouts, fried green beans, gaslight bowl, Mac n cheese, and flatbreads), great location with free parking, and awesome entertainment (check out the Saratoga Strings Bands who plays there on Sunday evenings). It was a real highlight of our Lake George vacation.

While this restaurant’s food is delicious, the wait staff is not attentive to customer drinks and orders. The bar tender is very slow so expect to wait a while and enjoy 3-4 glasses of water before your drink arrives. Nice ambiance and classy look.

I was happy they could accommodate our party of 9. The food was just ok. I got the fish tacos, without the hot sauce they didn’t have much taste. The service was good and they had parking which was a plus. Ambiance was dark but cozy.

Had a table outside, was shaded st 6:00pm, very comfortable. The blackberry mojito was delicious as was the sweet potato bowl with added salmon ( cooked perfectly!) Others had ribs which they all raved about! Great job, waitress was good too! Would highly recommend!

The kids were served in record time (much appreciated, kids are so impatient and always starving!). The service for the adults was almost too fast. Our entrees were ready before we had finished our small plates. The service was friendly and helpful.

We are vacationing in Lake George area and this is honestly the first really great meal we have had here. Hummus platter and brussel sprouts were delicious, 2 kinds of pizza were also great. My son loved his fish tacos, generous portions! Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Definitely recommend.

The gaslight fries too salty and tasted like the oil was overused, the mussels was bland, the mash potatoes was very mushy, seating was not comfortable. The burgers was good. The salmon gaslight bowl was fairly good. Maybe we should have tried the pizza instead. The mimosas was small. Not a great experience for our first meal in Lake George.

We had a great experience here- after a little mix up during a busy time, Madison jumped in as our waiter and she was fabulous! The food was really outstanding and we enjoyed a bottle of Chianti (as recommended by the owner on the menu) that was very memorable.

So, I need to start off by saying all of the servers were very nice. Nothing I’m gonna say should reflect negatively on them as people, and it is entirely possible they were just having an off night or training new staff. Most of the meal things were fine, and as the restaurant started to pick up we saw our sever less and less, again, fair. We got the check at the end of the meal, still good, but then it took like 15-20 minutes for our server to come back to get the money, and also a pizza we had ordered to go took a bit longer than that. Again, everyone was very nice, they just seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Food was good! I also say this from the place of someone who has also worked as a server and in the kitchen of a few restaurants. Hope this helps.

The food was spectacular and the service was exemplary. The charred pineapple jalapeño margarita was a game-changer cocktail and the crab mac-n-cheese was to die for. We also really enjoyed the bruch-etta appetizer and the avocado toast face-up.

We spent the day walking around the winter carnival so by the time we arrived at gaslight the warm fireplace was very welcome. Our server did a great job and was very attentive even after working a double shift the day before. Food came out Hot and was very good. Nice menu! A nice mix of customers that must have been a mix of locals and day visitors, always a good sign.

Service was great. Price a bit high. My sirloin tips with coconut curry rice was excellent and generous portion size. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was good, though the onions were a bit strong and bitter and perhaps a different choice of onion may be nice? One of the boys had the Angus burger- roll was toasted and delicious, generous portion of French fries which were also very good. The biggest disappointment was my son’s swordfish. The portion was too small for a 6’3” growing athlete. My son thought it was over seasoned, but that may just be a matter of taste. Nobody liked the kale that came with it and it would get a higher rating from us if it had come with a starch as well- something to fill up a larger appetite. As it was, my son ate 2/3 of my delicious steak bowl because he was still very hungry. Overall impression: Would definitely come back again and try some other items. I would definitely order that bowl again! Very pleasant hostess and attentive server. Nice atmosphere. We will give it another try!
