   Negative: roast potatoes not very roasted, wife says hers were not cooked through but mine were bland. Veg was a bit too al dente for me. Service was average with staff appearing overwhelmed. Positive: drinks fine, price not too bad, beef was delicious, Yorkshires good, dessert good.

   We were extremely disappointed with the food, there were 3 of us. One had the Thai curry for £15 an extra £5 if you wanted chicken in it! The portion was small and I have never seen chicken cubes like that in my life, they looked manufactured, there was no spice in the curry either. I had the chicken dish which was a small dry chicken breast , that quite frankly was like a frozen one from Iceland. One person had the burger and said that was nice, so one out of three enjoyed the meal. I found the food extremely expensive for what it was and overall the food was disappointing. That said the restaurant was beautifully decorated and set out and the staff were lovely and the service was great. However I wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t visit again.

   A lovely venue and friendly staff. However, out of the four of us only two enjoyed their food. The pasta dish was very good as was the steak pie. The Steak Burger lacked flavour as well as over cooked and the Salmon was overcooked. The service was slow and the dessert menu was incorrect. It'll be a while before we return.
