   It took 45 minutes for just our cocktails to come out. I ordered the wagu sliders and the buns or whatever it was on was incredible greasy and flavorless. Shiitake salad was good but really expensive to have no veggies in it aside from just lettuce and fried mushrooms. Not even onions or cucumbers or anything in it.

   it was our 20 anniversary and we were hoping for a better table with a view not a table next to the entrance and staff stand, but beside that it was good - our waiter was fantastic

   Nobu is always a go-to spot to meet friends in an upscale environment. There's just so much to enjoy about Nobu. If you're budget conscious perhaps not but if you like to indulge a little than go for it.

   We’ve been to Nobu’s all over. It is our go to to celebrate anything special as a family. You know coming in it will be expensive, but the food will be amazing and the service is always very good. This place was horrible. Nobu should be embarrassed that they are even part of their team. Service was horrible, we felt like we were a burden even being there. The food was not even close to Nobu standard, our Pinot Grigio sat on the bar for nearly 20 min and was warm when it was served.. The list goes on. It’s a shame because we visit these places all the time but probably won’t be back. We’ll just go see Mr. Chow next time.

   Stunning rooftop - gatekeeper at the rooftop entrance gives a cold shoulder both coming and going. Service was hurried. Tables are too low so you can't cross your legs under them. Most of the dishes were just ok - really nothing extraordinary. Expected better. The black cod, which you have to get 2 of, are priced at $18 each piece - they're half the size of a marshmallow. Granted they arrived super hot - straight from the grill but incredibly overpriced. The Yellowtail was next to flavorless - mostly salt - we were instructed to eat each piece with a sprig of cilantro as recommended by the chef. There was only cilantro for 2 out of the 6 slices. Maybe the Nobu in NYC is where to go.

    I loved the view. The furniture was cool and comfortable. I would return for drinks on a summer night. The food was not as good as their reputation. The service is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable.

    Have been to Nobu Chicago several times for dining and this was my first time visiting the rooftop. We went for our anniversary hoping to have a couple of drinks before dinner. We were 15 min late and they held our table which was very kind, however the service on the rooftop was so bad that I don't think I'll ever return. We ordered drinks and waited 25 min, did not receive the drinks, did not even have our waiter check in on us. We informed our waiter we were just going to leave, did not receive any kind of apology or offer to check on our drinks. The manager did offer to comp us 2 drinks which was also kind, however it was an unfortunate way to begin the night. I expect more from a place like Nobu.

    We came here for my husbands birthday as it was our first time. Great views and location. Service was not great at all and it took forever to get our food. When our food came my husband got his food, finished his food then my food came 20mins later. I dont understand how they dont bring both meals out at the same time. When I asked why didnt they bring both meals at the same time and she said they bring them out as they get them. In my head that concept doesnt make sense to me especially for someone that works in the hospitality industry. Not sure we will come back

    I rarely write reviews, but this time absolutely have to mention how amazing their baby spinach salad was. All of us (three people in the party) absolutely loved it. Probably the best salad I've ever tried in my life. Every else was amazing as well.

    There’s potential for it to be a great spot with an amazing view, but it feels like staff doesn’t really care: food was fine, waitress was nice, bartenders were often just chatting amongst themselves and not making drinks.

    The food was terrible and uncooked. It was extremely cramped and even though we requested outdoor seating, the server said no one is allowed out there. This did not make sense because people were consistently being seated outside and were allowed to go outside. The price is not worth the quality in any capacity.

    Wonderful view and ambiance on rooftop. Food came out inconsistently prepared. Some items were as good as the last visit and some were not. Lamb chops in particular were very undercooked but I was on a timetable so I didn’t say anything. Drinks were very good. Overall, I will be back

    Probably the worst service I have ever had, unresponsive and didn’t bother to even try to apologize for the mistakes. If I come to a place like this service shouldn’t be something I have to worry about. Definitely not appropriate service and the food was mediocre at best. Overall a horrendous experience, slow and unprofessional service.

    I came to the rooftop for a drink with my friends before a dinner reservation. We had a table and ordered drinks and didn’t get them until 59 MINUTES LATER. We thought about leaving so many times but the waitress kept saying they were on the way. We had to call the restaurant where we had dinner reservations and move it back 45 minutes. We saw so many people around us getting multiple drinks in the time that it took for us to get our first round. It was such an uncomfortable experience.

    We had the Nobu personalized dinner experience. They let you set a budget and serve you with dishes according to your likes and dislikes. It was a fantastic experience! The service was really good. John David was an amazing server! He was very attentive and super friendly.

    The food experience at Nobu completely exceeded my expectations. I expected the food to be delicious, but not life changing! The wagy dumplings and wagyu burger were incredible. The delicate bacon-like shitake mushrooms on the salad were an unexpected surprise. And the passionfruit-chocolate parfait for dessert was indescribable!

    I want to give Nobu the benefit of the doubt however I couldn't help but feel all the black couples at the rooftop level were purposely seated towards the back of the restaurant giving a sense of segregated seating.

    It was very quite at first and then they turned up the music towards the end which was nice. The drinks were amazing and the yellowtail sashimi was amazing, that was worth every penny. The wagyu sliders were disappointing and wasn’t worth the price, the dumpling were good but price questionable
