   This was our second time celebrating our anniversary at Cherokee Grill in the last 4 years. It impressed us so much the first time, we wanted to try it again. We wanted to call out the food as it was all delicious. Secondly, our server Alex was great. He was very friendly, but extremely professional. Thank you for another great experience.

   Wonderful food and atmosphere. Reminded us if our favorite restaurant in Napa Valley. Parking too which is nice.

   Service was poor. 20 mins after eating, still all the dirty dishes on the table, thru paying and leaving. Medium steaks arrived blue rare. On 2nd attempt arrive med rare. Not worth the trip. Chesapeakes was a great place with excellent service.

   Food was not great. Server did not clear the table when it was appropriate. Steak was grizzly and not very flavorful and stuffed potatoe was dry.

   This restaurant is what I would expect for a large restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg, but still was hoping for a little more. The salmon was overcooked and the spices just butter, salt and pepper so a little bland but the beans were fresh and the drinks fantastic even the mocktails were super creative and delicious. They are known for their steaks so I guess that is what I would get!!

   The salad starters, House and Caesar, were good. Both of us ordered the fried chicken and grits. After 40 minutes if waiting, the entrees arrived. Upon presentation, I thought they were chicken Nuggets. The boneless white meat was bland. Not their best effort.

    We have been many times over the years and loved our experiences but this time we were disappointed. Rolls were cold and hard, baked potato was cold so much so butter did not melt and steaks were extremely salty and peppery. The flavor of the steaks really had no flavor because of all the salt and pepper. We stayed a week and found steaks to be better elsewhere. Sorry to say we aren’t sure we will come back.
