We took my daughter here for her 18th birthday. There were 6 of us. The food was delicious, however, the service was lacking. We ordered 2 sides of brussel sprouts which were not delivered to our table until all of us were completely done with our dinners. I ordered a dessert that apparently was sold out (which was the second dessert they sold out of). When the waiter came to tell me it was sold out, he did not offer me the dessert menu again to make a second choice but I did ask for it and he gave me one. Again, service was slow as the entire table was done with our coffee, despite having to wait to drink it as we were waiting to ask the server to bring milk despite having asked for it when we ordered it, before the desserts were delivered. It was a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not busy. Again, food was delicious, service was lacking.
Good French food with bigger than usual portions.
I've been to this restaurant several times for lunch and one other time for brunch. The lunches I'd had were average but my previous brunch experience was excellent so I decided to try it again. I made a reservation in advance but when I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. No one in our party complained so I was pleasantly surprised when the manager came over and was extremely apologetic. She proactively offered coffee and pastries on the house which was a nice gesture. Our server was attentive throughout and I was feeling better about the experience except our entrees arrived cold. At that point, it wasn't worth even mentioning because we wouldn't have wanted to wait for them to redo the order. However, based on this experience, I have no desire to return.
My wife took me there for my birthday. It was wonderful
Delicious Sunday brunch here. Ended up taking home a baguette, their in-house made bread is so delicious. $2 mimosas, along with delicious french toast and quiche were delicious.
This is a great place to unwind and enjoy good food
As usual, the food was outstanding and the service exceptional (thanks, Philip). We'll be back again and again!
Service was outstanding as was the seafood crepe my wife had. The Turkey baguette was good but not great. Dining area was loud.
As alsways, live Coquette. Great food, great service, great ambiance. Can’t go wrong!
Have been many times and ots usually good but the salad was slimy, the onion soup had no cheese and the waitress was MIA.
Had the Onion Gratin Soup, Crocque Madame, and Truffle Frites. All were well prepared and quite tasty. The service was spectacular...attentive and very professional. We had a reservation and arrived on-time...however there still was a brief wait of about 10 minutes before being seated...no problem. Only negative is that the marble table tops and hard tiled floors reverb with customer sound creating a noisy environment. Price is reasonable for the high quality food and service. I can highly recommend.
The only issue was that we had to wait a long time for our entrees due to a wedding party who was also there. The server even came over and apologized for the wait. However, they did nothing to make up for the wait (comp a drink or an appetizer, give us a discount or a coupon for a future visit.) It was a wedding party so it's not like an unexpected issue popped up. Otherwise, Coquette is one of my favorite Raleigh restaurants.
Great place for ladies Saturday brunch!
Food was great, but had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
The service was terrible; we were there for a business lunch and I literally kept having to flag down the waitress; really turned me off from wanting to go there anymore; food was good but service was really bad
A charming place for brunch. Very busy on the weekend, but they do take reservations. We enjoyed our meal very much. Looking forward to trying it for dinner.
Nice lunch with my daughter
We love the value of the food we get on the menu. The servers are great, they give us space but are very knowledgeable if we ask questions. Every food item tastes fresh and authentic!
Steak frites was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
We have been eating here since the La C opened. It has always been a wonderful eating and dining experience. The food is both truly French while also being creative, and just plain delicious. The wait staff is congenial and smart. They answer questions knowledgeably. The wine lit is small but well thought out, and they offer wine by the carafe. La Coquette is a total pleasure!
Coquette was amazing in making us feel so special as we were celebrating our friend's bachelorette party.
Being a business owner, I saw how clean and neat everything was. The hostess and wait staff were so professional. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. In today's world businesses face many hurdles in running a successful business. They depend on hired staff to all work together. It's not luck that has brought this dining gem to the top, but hard work, and smart planning. When I'm in Raleigh again, I know my first choice in dining !!!!
We are regulars, and usually enjoy the food, service, and ambience. But I as very disappointed in the monday special ( bouillabaisse ) this Monday... would not recommend it. In addition to the fish, apparently, not being fresh, the dish was a poor approximation to bouillabaisse.
We went for our anniversary and it was amazing! Thanks!
Phenomenal. Everything about it was great
Nice breakfast but nothing that stands out. Nice atmosphere. Dinner might be better quality.
Always a nice experience here. Food is delicious and service is great. Can’t go wrong with the coq au vin. Nice selection of quality wines as well. Bar staff are super friendly if you happen to sit there before your meal. Not super crowded but had enough people to make it cozy. Easy to have a nice conversation as some places you have to shout so company can hear what you’re saying. Worth a visit if you’re considering.
We LOVE Coquette! Our favorite modern french restaurant in Raleigh. The food is always flavorful and well prepared. Their french fries are to die for! The entrees are all very excellent. Coquette is a perfect place for dinner or brunch (delicious quiche, monte cristo, etc). The ambiance is chic and very french. Great service.
Suggest Brussel sprouts. Duck confit. Beet salad. Ceviche. All were terrific. Very good were beef bourginon and duck breast. Frites very nice. Love the French look of the place.
Another terrific dining experience. Coquette continues to be a favorite place to dine.
I love Coquette for brunch with friends, business lunches and date nights with my husband. They have a great event space in the back where we are holding my brother’s rehearsal dinner. The food is delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous. It’s also nice that you can make reservations and I’ve never had to wait.
Enjoyed very much. Good food and goood servive friendly staff and clean bath rooms
My favorite place big time!!!
Food was excellent but our waiter was a little slow getting our orders and our check.
This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh, it's so good. All of the menu items have great flavor! We go there on a dates, we bring our family, I even had a dinner with my girls there for a upscale bachelorette party( if there is such a thing!) they have never disappointed me!
We come weekly and love the food and service! We usually sit outside but inside is great too.
Coquette Brasserie at North Hill in Raleigh is one of my frequent choices for a vey good restaurant to catch up with friends and family--or celebrate a special occasion. Menu selections, food preparation, and service are always excellent. The complimentary breads and butter are always a bonus. My salmon was cooked to order and delicious.
Coquette is a go-to for excellent food and ambiance.
This was our first visit to Coquette. My husband and I met our son and his girlfriend for Sunday brunch. The service was excellent as was the food. You can't beat $3 mimosas! I do think the tables are a bit close together, but it didn't bother our visit.
Entres were lacking, I’ve had more meat at a Subway on sandwiches and wife’s salad was very slim on ingredients.
