We had a nice dinner BBQ Ribs, prime rib the Cobb salad. The latter was a little cold (premade and kept in the cooling), the $3 charge to swap fries for a baked potato was short term maybe good for Landry’s bottom line but definitely left a greedy feeling. The amaranti Malbec was excellent. All in all a nice evening out.

Main thing I want to mention is our server found my dinner companion’s wallet which he had left behind on the table and didn’t realize until the next day. He turned it in to the manager and it it was recovered the next day . Very much appreciated.

Went for HRW dinner menu and loved the service and atmosphere. The brisket queso was very flavorful. For entrees the ribs were nice and tender. Brussel sprouts that went with the redfish were very crispy and flavorful. The chicken enchilada "casserole" was tasty as well as the borracho beans on the side. Also got the creamed street corn side and that was a very good choice. For dessert the chocolate cake and carrot cake were good. The key lime tart was a miss.

The Brisket Queso is always a winner - the reason the food received a 4 is because I had to send my potatoe bake cause it was not soft and the ingredients weren’t melting … and steak was lukewarm

We were there for Houston Restaurant week. The special menu was not offered initially. I ordered the ranch chicken casserole; when it arrived, I was sure the meat was beef, not chicken; I am still not convenienced. The dish was so messy, gooey I didn't know what I was eating...so I didn't eat it. I ordered the cheesecake dessert as a part of the special menu; when it arrived, it was the size of a silver dollar; tiny. I think the size should have been mentioned in the menu. it was our first and last time to eat at King Ranch Texas Kitchen.

Plenty of parking + okay options for Houston Restaurant Weeks menu - went with rita salad (a definite favorite) + cheeseburger (loved the fries) + cheesecake (very small portion + okay taste).

The entire experience was very underwhelming. The plating was unattractive and very unappealing - brown fish with browned brussel sprouts on a brown plate with not even a lemon wedge or greens for garnish. The portions were small and everything was average or below in our opinion. While the waiter very attentive and very polite, our dessert - which had ice cream - was also brought while we were still eating our entrees. We will not return.

It’s always a good experience. The food is delicious, the service is professional and caring, and the drink options are really good. We tried the crab cake this time and it was an absolutely must to. I definitely recommend for a good steak and good ambiance, and now for the crab cake.
