Diverse menu with good standards and enjoyable variations. Lasagna topped to big taste with a single basil leaf. Caccio e pepe creamy but still cheese forward, wanting only added fresh pepe. Tangy bite in mixed seafood soup was excellent. Beet and arugula/pear salads both excellent complements to tomato and cheese pasta dishes. Wait staff are all upbeat, friendly and responsive, even if hinting at upsell for wines. The house red was folksy, like out of uncle's home made. A delicious, fun and very reasonably priced dining experience. We will be back next week to confirm.

Friend and I dined here before the SF Ballet. They were able to seat us 15 mins earlier than our reserved time which we appreciated. It was a very busy night. The tables are close together but room enough to walk in between-noise level was not too loud for a crowded place. We shared the pear salad which was excellent and enough for two. Friend ordered the wild mushroom ravioli which was delicious. My dish was the fettuccine short ribs which was very good and served hot (: -noodles were al dente just right. I ate it all though I would have liked it to have a bit more salt. I didn't ask for salt and pepper. Service was attentive and quick. We had enough time to order dessert and shared the tiramisu. We left the restaurant with a nice sweet taste and smile.

Very professional, attentive and efficient service. Food came out quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Generous servings and tasty pasta dishes. The noise level is a problem which detracts from the ambience.

Great location for casual pasta or pizza dinner before SF Jazz, the Symphony or Opera performance. Calamari & Shrimp Fritti is tender and served hot. Caesar Salad’s rich & cheesy and can be shared. The Lasagna’s very generous again easily shared avoiding left-overs at the theatre. Definitely save room for desserts!

This time seated at a table in the middle of the room. Can’t count how many times my chair was bumped by waiters, guests, moving behind me. Super annoying. We waited an hour for our meal from the time we were seated. Food is consistently very good. Might try the Doppio Zero in San Carlos to see if the seating arrangement is better.

Seated right on time, not rushed, wait staff very attentive. Food was good and we were able to have enough time and time enough to get to our performance! It is very noisy so it was hard to hear our conversation.

We only had pizzas so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. The pizzas looked good but none of the crust or pizza dough was crispy. I had to fold the pizza in half to feed it into my mouth. I like it where the crust has some crispness to it and the bottom, but this pizza required two hands as it was all soft.

Excellent food & service. Wife thought the gnocchi was the best ever. Seafood stew was also excellent. Will return
