I love the decor! Great ambiance. Service was great. Mushroom soup is delcious. Fish and chips were good. Burgers are good. Would go here more just can't justify the price point.

The ambience is so charming- each room has such character. The service and management were super attentive and the food was amazing. The duck was delicious, perfectly cooked and the roasted root vegetables were a perfect side-- definitely coming back!

Had an amazing dinner at the White Dog Cafe! Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. All of the food was outstanding! Main dish- Verlasso Salmon- it comes with sweet potato gnocchi, wild mushrooms and Tuscan kale with a butter lemon sauce. Drink- Fearless Hard Seltzer (Blueberry Lavender Lemon Flavored). Dessert- Vanilla bean creme brûlée with a shortbread cookie. 10/10 recommend !

WDC-GM is a definite go to for my friends and I, when we want a nice meal and a relaxing place to just sit and catch up. Food is always predictably good, but the experience is made so much better if you should happen to have the good fortune to be sitting in Alice's section. Best server ever, and so friendly and engaging!

Excited to try this place because of the farm-to-table theme. Overall food was fine but not GREAT. The chicken pot pie had a great crust but the filling was overpowered by rosemary and that's all you could taste. The special trout was a bit dry and the dish had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long because the parsley and carrot puree had hardened on the top. The brussel sprouts were drowned in maple syrup and bacon and were tough rather than being tender on the inside. The deviled eggs were tasty and inventive - with olives and crispy parmesan. Cute and homey atmosphere and love the dog theme but likely won't return.

The wait staff at this restaurant was attentive to the point of distraction. Scarcely had anything been brought to the table--our beverages, the rolls, the entrees, etc--than our waitress appeared asking how everything was, often before we had even had a chance to taste that "everything." So often was she there that we began to feel as if we were being stalked. Add to this annoyance, gratuitous visits from the front-of-the-house person and the general manager, and you've got a real traffic jam on your hands. Moreover, as my meatball entree had arrived stone cold in the center and needed to be re-heated, we were subjected to additional visits (we lost count at seven) from the usual suspects who had been pestering us before. We were also lumbered by complimentary soup to atone for the meatballs mishap, and that occasioned a visit or two from people inquiring how the soup was. I don't know if these folks have delusions of grandeur or what, but they are obviously confusing manic over-solicitousness for fine service. They ain't the same. I have expected one of them to appear at our front door after we had gotten home to inquire how the ride home was. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog. The food is ordinary at best and the people there need to be put on a leash.

Very pleasant decoration, too bad the employees don’t match their clothing to the same quality as the rest of the restaurant, surprised to find they have no complementary bread, crackers, etc. and one must buy a small loaf, bit of an overkill, extra charge for martini served straight up, how else do they serve them?, the final shocker is a 3% charge for using a credit card!

Start to finish was excellent. Perfectly paced meal and the server gave my girlfriend and I tons of space and time to enjoy our long overdue brunch. Get the specials…especially the seasonal bread. The banana chocolate chip bread was a sweet end to a great meal. Can’t wait to come back.

there is a good vibe in the restaurant. service could be better. pre dinner cocktails arrived right before salad. dinner drinks delivered mid-meal. food represents good quality ingredients but marginal execution. lacking depth of flavors and served room temperature not hot. we had the meatloaf and pumpkin tortellini. salads are not well composed. huge chucks of pears with tiny bits of cheese. ceasar with virtually no dressing. oyster starters were great.

It had been my 3rd time to White Dog and my husband’s 1st. We had a delicious meal! He had the grass fed filet special and I had the salmon My only complaint about my meal wise the gnocchis were terrible but the salmon was delicious Our server was Dominique and she was fabulous-attentive didn’t rush us and was very sweet. We will definitely be back! My complaints would be it’s very pricey too loud. Hated the room we sat in (back room with fireplace) felt it was cafeteria like. Should of asked to be moved-but it was crowded

My husband and I love the White dog. We always order butternut squash soup when it is available. I think it should be on the menu all the time if possible. Truffle fries are addictive and anything I’ve ever gotten their history nothing less than delicious. We are really looking forward to the new White dog opening up near our home in Chester Springs. Hopefully it won’t be too long! Until then we will continue going to the Glen Mills or the Wayne location.

We are frequent White Dog customers and always enjoy our meal. Somewhat pricey for menu items like ‘Shepherd’s Pie’ at $28 but it was delicious and serving size was generous. Sam was an attentive and friendly server. She was knowledgeable and helpful about dinner choices. Manager also checked in to make sure we had a good experience!
