We were treated like royalty as we celebrated my wife's birthday. John our server was tentative, friendly and caring. The Dirty Goose was done to perfection and so were the Ceazar salad and clam chowder appetizers. The 22 oz. Ribeye was a perfect medium rare steak, super delicious. The baked potato and side of mushrooms were fantastic as well. Their bread basket is legendary! All and all they made the special day a special memorable celebration in the evening.

Was my absolute favorite steakhouse, but after last night I will not return. Long story short, I had a reservation and they didn’t have a table, so they placed me in the corner of the bar with my 2 kids. Service was almost nonexistent and had to get up and keep asking for service. Lastly, my kids drinks never came, their sides I had to ask for twice and my steak was well done when I asked for rare. Oh, and I had to find the manager to get the check, not what I’m looking for at a supposedly high end steakhouse. Will stick with Flemings and Morton’s.

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences here but this last lunch was extra special. Celebrating my birthday with a friend, the food, service and ambience were over the top great. Our server Kim was attentive but not intrusive.

I loved it. It was my birthday the food was hot and delicious. I met the young handsome chef. I told him the food was AWESOME. I can't forget the hospitality of the staff. 2 thumbs up.

The best steakhouse I have been to. Took my wife for her birthday and enjoy every moment from valet, being seated , served and they even have a great birthday special . The table was decorated , they had a card and of course a cake . Great steakhouse highly recommend it.

On the anniversary of my husband’s passing, I decided to celebrate his life at his favourite place. It was a wonderful experience. The manager, Brittany and staff are the best in town. The food was incredible as was the ambiance. I highly recommend Capital Grill for all your special occasions. But also for a great burger for lunch!

We usually dine at the OC location. The LA location is on par in quality (food, service). We did enjoy that it was bit quieter than OC. The only caveat is parking. I recommend valet parking, which we’ll do next time. We opted for a structure near the restaurant which left a lot to be desired. I recommend you bring cash. But it’s Downtown LA so no surprise there. Overall the restaurant is a 10/10 on all points!

Very pleasant evening we celebrated my husband's birthday, the very attentive and helpful staff made us find the festively set table beautiful! The food was delicious, the meat was spectacular, I highly recommend you try it!❤️

The is simply not as good as Mastro’s down the street. Even more important, the server would walk up to the table and start jammering away regardless of the business conversation going on. VERY POOR TRAINING!

Capital Grill was a last minute choice but well worth it. The food, ambiance and especially the service. Much thanks to hostess which provided a shawl for my partner who was cold. We will definitely be returning. Also, if you ever are looking for a live musician to entertain your guests, please give me a call. I left my business card in the bowl. Excellent customer service! We,be been to the Costa Mesa location but this is our first trip to the Los Angeles location. Two of our filet mignon came out medium & medium well instead of medium rare but the service staff quickly offered to remake them. When the expected time took longer because it was Friday night peak hour-they apologized and kept us posted on the progress & served the replacement quickly when ready and it was cooked perfectly. Very satisfied with the food and the friendly & courteous service.

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience here for our 6 year anniversary. The service was impeccable and the food was so delicious. We ordered the double cut bacon, 2 New York strips, gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. My only critique is my steak was slightly undercooked but still incredibly delicious. Thank you to the staff.

Best wine tasting experience ever, our waitress was wonderful, so cheerful and checked on us not too much and I like that I like to be able to enjoy my food a little and then asked how everything was. I had the lamb with lobster tail and my lamb was cooked just how I like it medium well with no pink and it was still juicy!! I will be back thank you so much for a great experience..!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here at The Capital Grille. Wow, thank you so much to the hosts, the waiters and waitresses, chefs, and everyone for making our experience here wonderful! Also, the wine tasting dining experience was great! The ambiance.. perfect, the way I like it, dim and intimate! The food was quite tasty as well but I am someone with very refined tastes and really wanted a more flavorful, melt in your mouth type of steak. It was pretty good, however. Overall a great experience. (:

My father and I were looking for a place to have lunch this past Friday when I remembered the Capital Grille so we decided to stop by for lunch. I've experienced their food at events and have ordered their takeout (both phenomenal) but this was my first time dining with them in person. Upon walking in we were greeted by Britney and Lismarie who seated us right away at what I considered a prime booth. Both of them stopped by to check in and say hello during our meal which we enjoyed because we got to learn more about them and this location. Although it was our first time dining there, it certainly won't be our last. In addition to our encounters with the managers, our waitress McKayla was so much fun and really made our experience special with her menu recommendations and delicious drinks. We will absolutely be back in the future and look forward to another wonderful experience with our new friends!

I went due to their summer special where they serve you 7 different flights of wine for $35. I was a little shocked to see how expensive the entree meals were however I feel like you can get a pretty good amount of food for the price that will fill you up. I will be back again but I’ll make sure I come in days when I get paid 😂

Steak was little too over cooked, we asked for medium well but it was well done, but it still tasted good, 4.5 out of 5. Mashed potatoes were impressive , we really liked it.

Excellent service and an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Our server was efficient, prompt, helpful, had a great attitude, and the food was absolutely delicious! From the bread basket, to our drinks, the Ribeye, calamari, shrimp cocktail, clam chowder and asparagus, each dish was prepared perfectly. We will definitely be back.

The food was exceptional. I am not a steak eater, but this place has changed my mind. The service was the best I’ve ever received. It’s walking distance from the Crypto arena, and definitely worth the price. I will forever be a customer.
