The food was exceptional, and the kitchen and wait staff went above and beyond accommodating a food allergy for one of our guests.
Excellent dinner, excellent service.
Great service. Awesome food. Wish there were more vegetarian choices
Made a reservation and waited 40 minutes to be seating in a completely different section than reserved.
Such an amazing restaurant! The food is unique and delicious. I went with my parents and friends and everyone was pleased. Even the picky eaters enjoyed it. I was impressed that it wasn’t noisy considering such a big open space. One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia.
We went to Serpico for our Anniversary and sat at the Chef’s Counter. At first, we weren’t sure if we would like the counter seating, but it was fun and fascinating to watch the kitchen staff and food preparation. As always, the food was phenomenal! I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. Troy was also great. He gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back.
Fabulous, intricate dining experience
I enjoyed Serpico. The food was good to very good. The small plates are small and very expensive. The cocktails were outstanding. We spent $125 per person but I would much prefer to spend this type of money at a Vetri or a Vernick. Nothing bad to say, maybe just a bit overpriced. Service was outstanding. A bit too packed in for such a pricey spot. I probably won't be back. I think it is worth dining here at least once.
Excellent food. Well prepared and creatively presented. I've been here twice in the past month (for two special occasions), and we have enjoyed every dish served to us. A bit spendy, but well worth it. Perfect for a small grouping for a special occasion (2-8 people), and for a very nice dinner out.
One of the only places in the city we keep coming back to. Love this place. Consistent, creative, and always delicious!
High quality food and preparation that comes with a price tag and worth a try. Wine list is $50+. Best on a business account.
Outstanding food, drink and service. Was a fantastic dining experience!
Excellent restaurant that exceeded expectations. Staff was awesome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back
Amazing meal and service
Fabulous food! Great service! Thoroughly enjoyed.
Incredible food with incredible service. Had the counter seats as they prepared five wonderful courses. Highly recommended.
Very interesting and tasty food. Definitely not inexpensive but I don’t mind paying a lot for great food. Certainly not what you can easily cook at home. We had a variety of fish , meat and vegetables but I think the oyster mushroom dish alone was worth the trip
My wife and I eat out 2-3 times a week. We consider ourselves experienced diners. Serpico is for the connoisseur of food. It is about the details and combinations. AWESOME!!!!
This was my second time dining here and both experiences were amazing! It had been a couple of years between my visits, so I was thrilled to see it was just as good if not better than my first visit. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection (some favorites were the eggplant, enoki mushrooms, sirloin titaki and the NY strip). Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable and the meal was paced very well for us. With so many great restaurants in Philly, I don’t often repeat places frequently, but I can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful experience! Food and service were amazing! Only knock was the beer selection - no local beers offered, and the only stout/porter option was a $52 porter.
Incredible service, and very very very innovative cuisine! A great fusion of Japanese and new American cuisine. The chef had worked at Momofuku, which was a huge Asian influence (including some Chinese flavours as well as the dominant Japanese and American tastes). They were very accommodating to my veganism, very friendly waiter, and a beautiful open kitchen. Highly recommend.
Phenomenal. From the moment we walked in till saying goodbye. Our dining experience was impeccable. We ordered everything on the menu...literally. The perfect way to spend my birthday with my family.
I think they forgot the balsamic on the beet, endive salad. I was really surprised how bad it was. Everything else was really tasty.
The food and service were amazing!!!! Cannot recommend more!
Loved it! Scallops and eggplant were favorites! Looking forward to dining again!
Excellent the Scallop appetizer is amazing! Watching the prep in the kitchen was also a highlight.
Serpico exceeded expectations. Went as a dinner date with another couple. The service was excellent, he knew the menu, offered insightful opinions on the food, and was able to help us navigate the whiskey/scotch/wine lists. The food was delicious, would especially recommend the raw scallops and the duck legs. Will definitely be repeat customers.
One of my top 5 in Philadelphia. Sit at the bar. Enjoy the experience
We were seated promptly and the wait staff was immediately attentive. My wife and I shared two very good appetizers: sun choke tomatoes, which were very sweet, and the other was spinach, mushrooms and bean sprouts. For a main course, my wife had the Japanese eggplant, which she raves about, and I had the crusted halibut, which was well prepared and interesting. For dessert, we shared apple pie, coated in dulche de Leche, with vanilla ice cream, a delicious combination.
One of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. Food was amazing!
One of my favorite restaurants. Absolutely memorable. Wonderful flavors. Sitting at the chefs tables is fun for 2 people. At the moment, the halibut is amazing! Scallops, mushrooms, eggplant incredible. Perfectly paced, not rushed or bored. Great service. Every dish to order as we watched. The desserts are good. Hard to rate "value". You'll pay for this experience. But knowing that going in, it met our high our expectations.
We couldn't have asked for better food and service to help my wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary in style. Bravo Serpico. We'll be back!
Honestly no bad dish tonight. Stand outs for me were the Japanese eggplant and maple panna cotta. Enoki mushroom was good but a tiny bit too salty for my taste. Overall an amazing meal. Staff was extremely attentive and cordial.
Never a disappointment. One of Philadelphia's best eateries, hands down! Thank you all for your consistent goodness. 😘
One of the better meals we have had in Philadelphia. I'd say 3 of our 5 dishes were excellent. Nice intimate atmosphere, great service. Would highly recommend.
Expensive. Good for certain occasions
Food was interesting and creative; ambience was warm and modern; noise was moderate; the rum drink was better than the margarita. The spinach appetizer was cold, which didn't go well with the weather. The service was excellent and the food was brought out promptly. All in all an enjoyable meal, although pricey.
I don't know what I would recommend it for honestly. I was hoping for it to be really great but it just wasn't as expected. Sharing portions were really too small for sharing and we went with that idea on the server's recommendation. We were all still pretty hungry when we left. Pricing is a bit too high for those small portions. Drinks were good but the wine list could have had at least a few lower priced bottles. Overall a tad too pretentious and not on trend with what we've been experiencing around the country these days.
The food was very creative - the scallops, halibut and enoki mushrooms were memorable. Our server was friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall a very pleasant experience.
My only criticism is that it was more expensive than I would have thought for the location and experience.
Birthday dinner was amazing—our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, food was a fun challenge to the palate, drinks were equally fun!
