   Great venue! Great food! Great entertainment! Service times needs to be improved….waited more than 40 minutes for check out. Overall, great place!

   Well to start, we were not aware that we were going to be dining buffet style upon making our reservations & I did not see anything listed on their website regarding buffet style only. My family absolutely hates buffet dining. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile, checked in & immediately seated at a high top table where another lady was sitting with her laptop & it was not cleaned for the transition. This should have been a RED FLAG, but black owned with live music- let's keep the faith. The owner explained that they were low staffed & asked for our patience (proactive and genuine, so I truly appreciated it). We scanned the code for our menus & were looking forward to trying the different menu items to be prepared as ordered. Nope, the options were either one meat and two sides or all you can eat with an additional 18% gratuity. I do not mind the gratuity or the cost of the food, however there was no value. We were handed plastic plates with plastic utensils & had to walk to the back to get our food. Now on to the the food and drinks review: pretty much nothing was available and the server did not seem interested in replacing when asked about a particular item. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were cold- my mashed potatoes had mac n cheese in it (I do not eat cheese). Everything was uncovered, there were a few insects flying near the food & upon my first attempt there were two people serving themselves. The server walked out to yell that it is not self serve (well, there was no sign & nobody available to serve them) the poor kids with their dad were pointing their hands all over the cold fried chicken. The drinks were served in those small plastic cups. The live music was EVERYTHING, they covered all genres. Covers of Jill Scott, Anita Baker, Womack & Womack, Aretha Franklin and HOUSE MUSIC had me out of my seat! Overall, if I do visit again, I would not go on a Sunday. A future visit would more than likely be for the live music and drinks only.

   The ambiance was nice but the food was terrible, it was cold the portion size was small for what you pay for, the baked chicken was dry. They ran out of white meat so my husband who hates dark meat had dark meat on Father’s Day. It took the server 30 mins to come to our table but you only get 2 hrs at your table. I would return to listen to the music only.

   Could be a lot better. Food was cold and staff was short handed. Music was amateurs and mic was broken. Place has a lot of potential but need to get a lot better to be a cornerstone in Homewood.

   It was ok. The food wasn’t flavorful at all and not worth $13 and the drinks were overly expensive and the more tastier and reasonably priced drinks weren’t on the menu. The live music was ok, felt bad for the first act bc the sound check wasn’t done and you couldn’t hear her bc the band played too loud and she basically had to scream. The second act things got much better. I’d come back for the entertainment but I wouldn’t pay for the food or drinks ever again.

   To have a black owned establishment in the community is great but the outdated information on the website made us think there was a full dinner menu but when we arrived it was just wings, nachos, and sliders that were delicious but overpriced. 2 1/2 wings for 10 bucks was a bit much!

    My husband and I had the buffet dinner on Sunday June 13. The band & singers were excellent, the buffet food was excellent. Needed more wait staff. Awesome location 10 minutes from our home in Homewood. We will be back again
