   Very good food and excellent service. 2 of the 3 appetizers were had were fantastic. Two main course meals were great. Salmon and Shrimp and Grits.

   Best shrimp and grits I’ve had in a very long time. Server was attentive without being overbearing while we were catching up with our old friends. Great experience. Would definitely go back.

   Overall, the food was very good however I felt that the amount of octopus on the plate was very small for the price charged for that dish. Service was very good, supervisor was checking on server activities and the place was well managed.

    We ate at the bar with Sol, our bartender, and really enjoyed our dinner before going to The Majestic Theater. It was an easy walk from the restaurant to the theater. We'll definitely do that again before our next show at THe Majestic.

    CBD Provisions was recommended by a friend of a friend who lives in Dallas. I was visiting from California. The menu was limited, the toast was dry, the “hashbrowns” were cut up dry potato pieces and the omelette was small but it was tasty. Otherwise I’d give it a 1. The service was ok. I’m not the type of person to give negative reviews so this is unusual for me. I wouldn’t go back.

    Even when CBD Provisions was in top 50 Restaurants in DFW at D Magazine, perhaps were only for a couple of signature dishes but there is no consistency. Response times and quality/value of some dishes are not correct. Portions that we received were not the value for what it cost. I waited several years to visit CBD Provisions, this was my first time and I am disappointed of the dishes we received (see photos below). $30 for an "Octopus" dish that had less than 50 grams of a tentacle is really a ripoff. Most of the ingredient was a bread that comes with it.

    Wonderful food, varied menu, good service. Open kitchen concept with a fun yet Sophisticated vibe. Only downside is your clothes pick up the kitchen fragrances, good or bad :) I am personally ok with that.

    Our dinner started with the worst server I have ever had. His personality was beyond flat and he literally did nothing to hide the fact that he would rather be anywhere else than at CBD Provisions serving food and drinks. He offered no information about the menu or the restaurant that was not painfully pulled from him via specific question. We were very much aware of the fact that you should request the carnitas 24 hours in advance but we decided to ask if sometimes extra orders were planned for. Before I could even finish the question he responded that there were none available. Cool, we figured as much. Just thought I'd ask. We ordered crispy cauliflower for the table. Not bad, not spectacular. I ordered the butchers cut 8 oz. steak. The connective tissue that ran the entire length of the steak made it close to inedible and CBD steak sauce is effing ketchup! I'm not sure if this is a bar serving pretend upscale food or if this a restaurant with a decent bar but it certainly didn't live up to the hype that I've seen surround this place.

    The market fish of the day was fantastic, however, we also ordered a butcher’s block steak - it was only 8 oz of meat, which is a decent portion for one IF you can get past the gristle on the flank steak. Three bites of the state were excellent, the others were difficult to choke down. Our server did give us great drink recommendations.

    This is our favorite restaurant in Dallas, and for good reasons. The food is always excellent and they change the menu regularly to showcase new dishes.     Although short staffed, Taylor gave us a fabulous experience. The ambiance is lovely and warm. The service was excellent and endearing. And the food was absolutely excellent. We started with tuna nachos and then shared the burger and the rigatoni special. Sensational.

    We made a reservation for close to 20 people and they were not ready for us at all. Restaurant was empty and still waited 20 mins to seat us. The bartender is ended up taking care of us and doing a great job. Thank you!! You should not take a 2:00 reservation if you can’t accommodate the party. The burger was amazing!!

    Unfortunately you could tell the restaurant was understaffed. However the team they had worked hard to make it a comfortable visit. This restaurant has a great menu option, again this day they had a few items not available. The restaurant atmosphere was smoky from the kitchen. Overall a good visit, not the typical visits we have had in the past.

    The food was excellent, the ambiance lovely, but it seemed both the host and server were in a bad mood and didn't want to be there. Our server could not have ignored us more. I know everyone is understaffed, and there are challenges, but at the very least, you can smile, be gracious, and welcoming. Neither the server nor the host (female) was. No one checked on us to ask how our cocktails, appetizers, and entrees were. Everything we needed we had to ask for. I can't remember the last time I only tipped 15%, but this time warranted it.
