   Meatless meatballs are to die for! Ask for them without feta mousse to make it a vegan dish :)

   I live in the neighborhood and was excited that Lola Taverna opened. I love Greece so I was excited to bring my friend in to try it out. Sadly from the moment we walked in it was disappointing. Service was very unwelcoming and disorganized. We waited for several minutes with staff walking right by us not even acknowledging we were standing there. The bar tender apologized and said someone would be here soon to help us. The host didn’t even greet us, just walked past us, looked at his iPad and snipped ‘so do you have a reservation’. Food was disappointing. The dips were the only thing that seemed to work. Decor and ambience on the other hand was awesome - they have done an amazing job with the fitout. If the food and service were better I would come back for sure.

   The location is really nice - furniture and tableware are outstanding. Food is good and simple and fresh.

   Poor service, we were completely unattended to for the majority of our meal. We had to ask for water refills periodically, since they kept forgetting. We sat with empty plates in front of us for an extended period of time- it came to a point when the manger had been scanning the room, hovering above our table, and we had to call this to his attention. The hummas and pita was good. The restaurant definitely needs to work on a few management kinks.

   Food was delicious. Very good vegetarian options. Big portions. Good wine. I had the mousaka, crudités, three dips, pita bread and the Brussels sprouts, shared between two people. The noise level is very loud.

   We are definitely coming back! I love the relaxed feel of this place – like dining on a Greek Island. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Lamb and Moussaka was amazing and the Lola Salad was a great take on a greek salad Everyone loved the Grilled Red Snapper. Service was well-timed and friendly, exceptional wine list
