    Mixed drinks were so-so and food was very ordinary. I got an appetizer and it was so greasy that the waitress returned it and took it off of our bill without asking which we appreciated. Our service was good and the ambience was festive but food and drinks were not good enough to go back.

    Great food, service was awful. I had to ask the waiter if we could order after sitting at our table for almost 20 minutes. Never got refills on our drinks. I had to ask for our bill too because the waiter wasn’t around and we had to go back to work.

    This was an adequate place to eat brunch when we lost our reservation somewhere more popular. They were confused about our reservation but eventually got us sat. All the food came to the table and many of the drinks. Our server was giving “it’s my first day” or “hungover” energy and there were a lot of people on staff but none seemed to be interested in serving the customers. Brunch, to me, is like sex though, and even when it’s bad it’s still a good thing. Don’t hesitate to make this your third or fourth choice for brunch and prepare for delays!

    We had a great time with friends. We enjoyed the karaoke and pool room. The self-serve beer wall is a lot of fun. We will be back.

    Totally understand it's a holiday weekend and our group was large (26 people), and things can be hectic, but service was slower, food came out in waves (first to last was ~50 minutes apart), so I didn't give 100% rating, but overall, it was good food, good beer/drinks and the service was polite and professional. I would go back, but call ahead and see how things are going.

    First and last time we eat here. Extremely understaffed and took forever to order and then even longer to get our food. My dish was fine but my mother’s food said her plate was inedible. And kids were running all over the place with no control.

    Wanted to try this place for a while, so we made a reservation for Friday evening. The place was practically empty and we were seated right away. We sat at our table for 30 minutes without really being acknowledged. At one point, I counted 5 employees behind the bar just hanging out and chatting. I do understand not ALL may have been servers, but still no one acknowledged our table. Finally the hostess saw us kind of looking around without even a water and asked if we had a server yet. We confirmed we did not and she went and found one. That server walked past us and said she’d be right back with waters as she was finishing up another table. That water never came. We continued to sit and then saw the server just standing at the hostess stand talking to other employees. At this point we had been there for 40 minutes total and even though the place was empty, we never got any service, so we just left. Super disappointing because the menu looked great and they had a decent beer selection. I can understand if the place was packed, kitchen backed up, understaffed, etc… but this was just bad. Sitting there with zero service and seeing like 8 employees just twiddling their thumbs and socializing amongst themselves just ruined it. I will say that the hostess was super nice and I do appreciate her seating us and checking on us the one time to find a server; she was great. As we walked out, she even said to have a nice day which was… nice but awkward I can imagine. We just walked across the street to the meatball joint and got seated immediately and had a server before I could even look at a menu.

    Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We ran late and tried to call three times, but it went to voicemail. We arrive, and I'm told we are late... Yes, you would have known that if you picked up the phone any of the three times I called to inform you per your OpenTable statement on grace periods. We get seated. 30 minutes later a waitress comes over and asks us what we want. Knowing it was going to be a poor experience, we order two beer cards and our food. 15 minutes later she brings our waters over and almost forgets to give us the beer cards - I saw them and had to remind her. 10 minutes later she comes back to tell me they don't have what I ordered (55 minutes into being there). I order a burger. A few minutes later, the sandwich for the other member of our party comes out. After an hour and a half, we end up splitting his sandwich because mine didn't come out. I had to tell the hostess that they either send my waitress over now or we are walking out because we didn't want to miss our show at 8 PM. There are far better places to eat in downtown Pittsburgh especially for $67 for 4 beers and a mediocre sandwich. Never coming back.

    Do NOT go here unless you are desperate and have a lot of free time to waste. Bad: Messed up beer order, took over 2 hours before we got our food, 1.5 hours before took food order. Did not have cheese curds or sour cream for the loaded fries, had to ask for discount because of that. Charged for a appetizer I never ordered. Ordered chicken salad, they forgot to put chicken on it… spicy chicken sandwich’s for our table were burnt. Good: Lamb burger was delicious! Chips were great as well.

    Underwhelmed with the food. One salmon item ordered had to be recooked because it was cold and raw in the center. The restaurant was gracious with this situation. Cheesesteaks ordered were salty but we did not discuss this with our server since we had to send back the salmon. Several beer taps on the self service wall were empty. The ambience of the place was nice with sports on the TVs.

    I believe our food would have been good if we received it when it was ready. We had a very poor experience with our server. She may have been going through some things but it should never reflect in her service to customers. For reference, we sat in the mezzanine between the hours of 5:15PM and 6:40PM on 4/22/2023. We didn’t receive the basics: water, utensils, napkins and ketchup without having to request them multiple times, even had to ask a different server. At one point, we observed our server sitting while perusing her cell phone. Her un-cheerful disposition and lackadaisical attitude is the sole reason for our unpleasant experience. This restaurant’s representative made us feel unwelcome. There is a tremendous coaching opportunity in this space that I hope the owners take seriously. Working, and where we work, is a choice. Please choose differently if you have no desire to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.

    The day my husband and I were there the temperature in the restaurant was COLD. Heaters plus only a few other patrons just did not heat up the place. The reason we chose this restaurant was my husband's love of lamb and they had a lamb burger on the menu. It turns out they were out of lamb. We both had sandwiches - very small and unmemorable for the price. On a positive note, our server was very kind and attentive. However, that didn't make up for the negatives - we won't be going back.

    The experience was very quickly soured by the hostess saying multiple times loudly that they weren’t taking walk-ins even though I had a reservation. While seating me and my business client she very rudely and abruptly let me know the kitchen would be an hour. Food was a solid 8/10. This place needs to be in better connection with the convention center cause this was unacceptable service during a conference. Sad because this was the best place to bring customers in terms of atmosphere.

    Made a reservation for a group of 12 business colleagues. We were seated on the 2nd level on a Wednesday night. Very short staffed. Took a while to get our food and drinks. Food was good, but service could have been better. Limited choices of beer for a pint house.

    The restaurant was unaware that there was a big library conference in town. Some restaurants had signage welcoming conference attendees. So, other restaurants were prepared. Our server was very stressed out and unprepared for the deluge of customers. I had come in four hours earlier to confirm my reservation and to let him know that there was a big conference in town. His reply was “it’s a Wednesday and it won’t be problem.” The restaurant needs to have better communication with the convention center to prepare its employees for big events in town.

    Service a bit slow, but it WAS the evening of Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade ☘️. The food was good. They just seemed slammed at the bar side and short handed. The wait staff was kind though.

    My siblings and our significant others came here on a Sat night to celebrate my sisters birthday. The place is really nice. Good vibes. Our server DJ was very nice and answered all of our annoying questions with a smile. Food was great and didn’t take long. Drinks were a little weak which is my only complaint. Even the shots we ordered tasted like 100% juice. Other than that we had a good time and would def come back!

    Heat was broken, hostess was rude when we asked to not sit by the door since the heat was broken. Half the food we tried to order they were out of. Lobster Roll was not worth $10 let alone the $30 they charged me. It was so loud, nobody could hear each other. Our waitress was awesome. She did everything she could to make up for things so I gotta give her credit for that.

    I made a reservation for restaurant week, very excited to try this place out. Upon arrival the sign at the front desk said "seat yourselves." After waiting 15mins sitting at a table I had to approach the bar & ask for assistance. The employee stated they don't have a host but shouldn't have seated myself. Ok. Then after explaining to the waiter that we had never been there, nor used the self service tap, we were given a short answer "just pick your drink, then a card.. to figure out what to do with ourselves. The food was great, however I don't plan to go back due to the less than welcoming atmosphere.

    Loved the food and vibes here! Picked this place for restaurant week for a girls night out with some old coworkers. None of us had been here before. The food was delicious and loved the taps! Super easy and our waiter was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend! I have the buffalo chicken egg rolls and smash burger!
