Welcome to Bottega Michelangelo, a casual Southern Italian neighborhood kitchen located in the suburban town of Oro Valley. Our menu highlights the cuisine of Southern Italy with a distinct "Italy to Table" flair. The restaurant features contemporary elements and popular Michelangelo artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen.                                                                                             We have eaten there many times and always enjoy it. Last night we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and they had a small note on our table saying Happy Anniversary. Kim was our server and she was wonderful. She told us to save room for the complimentary Tiramisu as a gift from the restaurant. And it was worth saving room for. The ambiance is wonderful and conducive to a casual meal or when celebrating a special occasion.

However, tonight, the food was sub-par, and our server was inattentive, bordering on rude. We were very disappointed! We hope it is back to the standard we have come to love next time we go.

                                                                                            Mother’s Day brunch but thankfully they didn’t have some special high priced menu or buffet. In fact it was their standard brunch menu which had both breakfast and entree items as well as they offered 3 items off their dinner menu…bravo! Excellent chicken parmigiana and lasagna!

                                                                                            Was seated at booth at reservation time. Unexpected pleasure since much is open tables. Our server Keri was excellent. However, slipped a little as the restaurant filled. Both of us had the endless mimosa, which turned into two servings for each of us. The main course was good but poached eggs a little hard. Finished with cappuccinos and split of tiramisu, which was excellent. Will return for sure.
