   They almost overcharged us by $60 We asked for the check back corrected and it still came with an extra $35 charge The sever was so apologetic

   My husband and I live near Iris, and it is our favorite place in our neighborhood. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, the ambience is ideal. The dining room is sleek, but not loud. Iris is a hidden gem near the theater district with its very non-touristy atmosphere. We especially like the bronzino and the Greek salad. The pita is delicious—puffy and warm, right out of the oven. And the flat bread is delicious—the clam flat bread is our favorite. The servers are very professional, yet warm and welcoming. We highly recommend Iris!

   We joined them on Mother’s Day for the pre-theatre price fix menu. The restaurant was not crowded and I don’t know why! The shared appetizer plates were enough for a meal and each one more delicious than the next. Branzino was perfect and simple and the deserts were beyond delicious. It felt gluttenous for us as we don’t normally eat this much, it was all delicious and portions were so generous and worth the money. Will come back again any time and happy to find a great restaurant in the district. The waiter and staff were also very hospitable and helpful to describe everything. Great experience don’t think twice …

   It was outstanding! Beautiful food and the service was incredible. Our waiter (curly hair tall guy) was so knowledgeable and fun he helped us enjoy everything! This is the 2nd time we’ve dined here and we will be back!!

   Prompt and attentive service and good food make a great combination. It was a little loud for my liking, but it won’t keep me from returning.

   Loved the service and atmosphere I wish I had gotten the dressing on the side for thee wedge salad, but the food was delicious! Very fresh and creative menu

   Iris is an absolute gem ! The food was amazingly good. We have been to the top restaurants in NYC and this one deserves a place somewhere in the top tier . Special mentions Prawns served on risotto, Branzino, their pita bread puffed up like a balloon, eggplant, whipped ricotta, grilled octopus, quail kebab, deserts … The service is attentive, courteous effortlessly effective… We have been here before - they are consistently excellent !

   Lovely dinner at Iris, as usual. Always love their tzadiki and fresh bread, lamb chops which were great, as is the orzo.

   Do not miss the opportunity to experience one of the best meals you will ever eat. Food is off the hook, service is superior and location is perfect. Mediterranean cuisine at its best! Fresh, light, full of flavor and immensely satisfying, this place is a must! THE place to have a meal before a broadway show.
