   Sorella lives up to the hype. We loved the food overall, but our favorites were the calamari stuffed with nduja, the parmesan budino, a pasta special (braised lamb neck with pappardelle with herbs pressed into it), and the ethereal pavlova with apples and quince. We had the best waiter, Carlo from a city near Rome, who gave us great recommendations, and a very friendly, playful busser. The room is spacious and the tables are far enough apart to prevent accidental eavesdropping. We will definitely be back!

   From start to finish, one of the best meals we’ve had recently. Amazing wine list, clearly curated by an exquisite palate. Cocktails are very composed, wine by the glass has great choices. Soft warm focaccia, amazing oysters, outstanding crudo, award winning sea urchin pasta, delicious veal tartare, and a timballo from heaven. There’s so much to choose, must return. Excellent service. Good prices. A solid winner. Enjoy!

   Our server Carlo was super attentive and provided excellent service as well as recommendations. Wine mark-up seemed high. Corkage fee is $30. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

    My friend and I had dinner at Sorella last night and it did not disappoint. The ambience and service was absolutely amazing across the board. We did not recognize the wines on their list and they gave great recommendations. We ordered the: (1) grilled calamari 'diavolicchio', (2) warm parmesan budino, (3) short rib agnolotti, (4) crispy branzino, and for dessert the: (5) tiramisu and (6) bourbon caramel semifreddo. We had extra sauce left from the calamari which paired really well with the focaccia. My favorite of everything, even though each dish was stellar, was definitely the agnolotti. Highly, highly recommend you give it a try. We will certainly be returning.

    From the minute you walk in to the time you leave, every staff member in the restaurant is super friendly and accommodating, without being over-bearing. What a delightful evening we had. It was our second time there, both the maitre'd and the waiter remember us! I find that amazingly refreshing. The space is beautiful and serene, the seating is comfortable and nicely spaced apart, the menu is tempting, the waiter was fun and knowledgeable, the food was well thought out and delicious. We have already recommended Sorella to food-loving friends and family. We will certainly be back.

    Wonderful and attentive service, ok flavor but very good, interesting, and and unique textures. Im not unhappy, but I felt that it was at a high enough price point that I expected better. I would have been extremely satisfied if I came to take pictures because everything looked fantastic. Interesting experience, not sure I would return or recommend.

    Terrific food, service and ambiance. Love the updated '50s supper club vibe and the big windows out to the street. Everything we had, especially the pastas, were delicious. Portions are on the smaller side, so take that into account.

    Very good dishes, from starters to pastas (great regional ones, not often seen on menus), to the delicious entrees. Very friendly and competent service and an obviously highly skilled kitchen. It really is a wonderful, casual place, not surprising considering its lineage.

    Dinner at sorella was an amazing experience! We arrived early, ordered drinks at the bar that we took to our table. The food was incredible and the service immaculate. Everyone was so kind, answered all our questions, and were a joy to be around. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll be going again soon hopefully :)

    A fantastic experience at this restaurant! They were extremely welcoming and attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was top notch, but the Parmesan budino in particular is truly not to be missed. Enjoy!

The food was times perfectly. And best of all our servers made great recommendations for dishes to try. The restaurant gets an A+z.

    The most creative Italian food with the best prices, best service, best menu, best ambiance, etc.etc. We will definitely be back, and will be bringing friends too. I almost never give perfect scores, but this was perfect.

    I’ve been going here since it opened. We live about two hours away and every time we come to the city we make it a point to come here and enjoy the delicious food and great ambiance. I recommend this place very highly. Never disappointed when we come in for dinner.

    The service was great and we loved the hamachi crudo appetizer. Yummy drinks. But my branzino was not great or worth the price. It had crushed peanuts on top which was overpowering and not the best flavor combo for fish. I thought it sounded worth a try but I wouldn’t get it again. I think they deviated too far from what works with branzino.

    The dining chairs are too hard to sit on for a 2+ hour meal. They are quite uncomfortable. Staff very friendly but a bit too over attentive. Too many questions. Rushed us a bit. I felt on a clock. Food was excellent. The star of the experience. Pasta top notch. Drinks very well done. Like most places there’s variability in seatings. Booths are awesome. Tables by the window and opposite the booths are good. Bar seats are pretty fun if you are solo or want to grab a quick bite with someone (but not linger). Then there are 3 oddly located tables next to the waiter station and in front of the kitchen. These feel uncomfortably located a bit in the middle of nowhere (where we sat). If I booked again I would request “not” one of these tables.

    Had a great time. Our servers were great! Food was very well made and tasty!the quail special was delicious and the potato gnocchi was pillowy and the sauce was good. Will definitely be back to try the next menu change!

    The hostess was very friendly and made us feel very special (it was our anniversary). The table staff seemed a little inexperienced and had to go back to check on several questions we asked about the food/wine. They did give us complimentary glasses of Prosecco with dessert for our anniversary celebration. Very thoughtful. We had already finished off a bottle of wine and were enjoying Cappuccino so we were not able to enjoy those. Food Diary.. RIZE UP OG SOURDOUGH – It came room temp. They warmed it up at our request. WARM PARMESAN BUDINO – A cheese souffle – Very light and airy with a strong parmesan taste. Recommend SWISS CHARD MALFATTI – A little on the rich side for me, but the flavor was nice. CRISPY BRANZINO – It was a fillet (not a whole fish). Very light. The braised greens were yummy.. BOURBON CARAMEL SEMIFREDDO – Did not finish it. The dessert has to be really good, otherwise it is just empty calories. Wish I had ordered the Pavlova.

    Everything was wonderful about this dining experience except one detail, which I think should be conveyed to the owner. The lighting in this restaurant is not good....it is the wrong type of lighting for dining. Everyone looks terrible, including the food which is excellent quality + it's hard on the eyes. Spending time with a lighting consultant who could guide you to the ideal lighting would be ideal. People do respond to a lighting quality that feels good....even if they are not sure why...subconsciously, it makes people want to be there and return. We will return, but try to sit at the bar, which looks like it might be better....
