    First time to Seaside Provisions. It was a little chaotic finding this hidden gem. It happened at the same time as the official opening of the new outdoor skating rink. We made it to our reservation on time and were warmly greeted, swiftly served and the food was wonderful! Our server, Paris was splendid. She seemed to have an extra sense of 'when' to come by and check on us. The ceviche was the best as well as the brussel sprouts and garlic prawns. The kale ceasar lacked the flavour I was looking for but overall an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

    On a Friday evening the noise level was too high to be comfortable. The happy hour oysters were 50/50 good…. Half were great and half were mushy and suggesting going off. The kale salad was terrific even with the request for a simple oil and vinegar dressing sans garlic . Inner tables (centre area) are too close back to back and wait staff continually bumped diners when walking between. It’s a very small restaurant all things considered.

    My friends and I celebrated a birthday in the private room. The service by Neevma was exceptional. She provided descriptions of all the items on the menu which we appreciated before ordering. The quality of the food and presentation were exceptional. The chef at Seaside Provisions is to be complimented. We were treated to a piece of melt in your mouth cheesecake which was not yet on the menu and it met with a resounding approval by all. The portion sizes were perfect for our senior appetites even though my friend and I shared the risotto after enjoying some share plates to start. We would all highly recommend this restaurant for its friendly service and excellent food. We will be returning soon.

    Incredible food. Even better service. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary. The waiter Paris made the evening feel so special. Will be back for sure.

    People should really get the oysters during happy hour, because it is only ONE DOLLAR per oyster, which is a very good deal. Also, happy hour is 50% off on all small dishes, so large dishes are not discounted.

    When this venue first opened we were weekly visitors. After COVID menu changed and we hadn’t been back for awhile. Our first time back we tried Breakfast. Barista Coffee and juice took a long time to arrive and then the coffee was cold anyway. Meals had way too much potato and salad greens in relation to other components. Nothing interesting, just basic meals. Not we’ll even try there dinner menu.

    The start of the evening was when the hostess claimed we didn’t have reservations. When I produced my open table confirmation suddenly she found us in the “other” system. The waitress was super sweet and explained the menu. We settled on the risotto in tomato confit with prawns. There was no mention of heat in the dish. We are from Texas and used to all things spicy. This dish was so hot we could not eat it. The waitress kindly exchanged our dish for the gnocchi. It was much more palatable. I did expect much more from the reviews that I had read and the fact it was one of the highest rated restaurants in the city. Was not impressed.

    My girlfriend and I went on Valentines Day and were blown away by the food and service. Our server Navina was top notch and all the dishes we tried were excellent. Very impressed.

    Dine-out Vancouver menu, just okay! At our group 2/3 meals were average and third food cool! The cool dish was seafood and if heated would toughen the seafood!

    Given the high ratings for this restaurant on Trip Advisor, we had high expectations. Sadly, we were disappointed. The entree that featured scallops (scallops risotto) had only two moderate-sized scallops. The risotto was slightly overcooked. Our friend specifically asked for -0 emphasized - no aioli on his Seaside Burger, yet it was included. The service was passable but not particularly warm or engaging.

    I really liked Seaside Provision, but got so disappointed this time as all food tasted really bad that night and pricy. The worst was my 4 crab crawl ( mini size) caused around 30$ and it tasted worse than frozen seafood.

    Definitely will come back to this restaurant. The seafood was fresh and tasty! The manager delivered outstanding service which some other restaurants do not have. Very genuine and professional. The waitress also super super friendly and patient. The atmosphere is very cozy and great fit for couples and reunions. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and families. It’s just hard to find a restaurant is this perfect!

    Delicious chicken karaage, bread with walnut butter, and chowder. Cocktails great as usual. The oshi sushi was mediocre (better at Joey) and we found the lobster rolls had too much mayo and tasted too much like smoked salmon. We will be back for the three things we like and will probably try something different next time. Service was attentive. Maybe change up the playlist next time for a more modern vibe instead of The Beach Boys.

    Brunch date. Soft-poached eggs were over cooked as was the wagyu flank steak that accompanied them. The muffin within the continental breakfast had a frozen core. Service was sub par. This was not at all what we expect from a restaurant within a high calibre hotel. They comped the meal; however, we will never return.

    Food tasty and visually appealing. Not all ingredients available but acceptable substitute offered at reasonable price. Service friendly and comprehensive and fast. Prices reasonable given the current level of inflation. Noise level in the restaurant a wee bit too high for my taste. Parking should be included in the bill for restaurant patrons. This adds unnecessary costs to the total.
