   We had a ok experience with this restaurant. We mentioned that we have allergy to beans and she took a note however when we got the dish it was full of beans.we asked for fruit plate and the strawberries were cut with the knife that cut onion before so the strawberries tasted horrible. I don’t think we are coming back to this restaurant.

   The menu changes were disappointing. Previously found vegetarian/ vegan options here to be delicious but yesterday was all fried and lacked flavor. I always considered the dial to be one of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area; however, my experience with the food last night made me rethink that conclusion.

   Dan dan noodles were very salty but cheese puffs apps were awesome! Service was very slow and spottyi.e had to ask for coffee refills, cocktails took a long time but they did give some sparkling wine to make up for it. Overall, not as polished as it should be, will come back in a few months to see if any improvement.

    Went because we had a coupon. The service was very good. The food was average. It was on the more Expensive side. The decor was nice and it was quiet, so good place for a date but the food wasn’t good enough to make me want to go back with so many other options in the area.

    All of the food was utterly flavorless and the service was very slow and lacked a personal touch. For the appetizers we got the cauliflower, squid and the pork buns and everything was so void of any flavor or text her that we ended up not ordering any entrées. Although the ambience is cool… It is by far the worst food I’ve had in the Central Square area.

    The Dial has beautiful spaces, and the people who work there are always warm and welcoming. It was only my third or fourth visit, but they made me feel like a regular. Excellent food, awesome bar staff. And they’re very accommodating about food allergies.

    I had my birthday dinner with 8ppl, was supposed to be 12ppl. They were so accommodating and understanding that our party was less than previously expected. We were seated in the back of a beautiful room. Food was great, server Ray was great and good came out on time. Will definitely be back. Thanks again!

    Everything was good - well prepared and tasted fine. But for us, there was nothing that stood out enough for a return trip in the near future. There are other places we'd like to visit. If you do go you will be greeted by helpful staff and cannot go wrong with the quality of the food that is prepared. It's worth a visit

    Smooth reservation experience. Service was friendly and attentive. Although the menu is not extensive, the options are interesting and offer something for everyone. Food and drink were excellent, if a little on the pricey side. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

    We have been big fans of the Dial since they opened pre-pandemic. We've always eaten in the courtyard and love it. We were there for dinner outside recently, when a sudden summer downpour hit. We took quick shelter under an umbrella that the staff had opened for us. The staff quickly relocated everyone inside. We had our drinks already and when we got to our new table, our first round of tapas was there. The downside was the incredible noise level, not from music, but just the other guests. I don't know why it was so loud, no obvious large parties. But it was really impossible to talk easily and our guests were from overseas. We'd been looking forward to seeing them for a long time ... Whatever the infrastructure is, some sound reduction is needed for people who want to talk at dinner. If you'll just be surfing and texting on your phone, then the great food and great service are all you need. Next time, we'll be back in the Courtyard.

    Overall we had a nice time at the Dial - the brunch options are tasty and the ambience of the space is great. However, we got there early for brunch right as the restaurant opened and we were one of the first groups seated - despite the mostly empty space, service was on the slow side. We also had some billing errors, being way overcharged for coffees that are supposed to be free refills. I was able to call and get the billing error resolved, but it's a bit frustrating that it happened.

    3 friends and I sat outside at The Dial on a Saturday evening. It was surprisingly empty and I’m not sure why, but it was pretty quiet and the service was great. The drinks were refreshing and not too sweet (definitely try the juice cleanse if you’re into carrot juice and ginger beer). We shared several starters and larger plates, but the stars of the show were definitely the trofie and pan Arctic char. The trofie pasta was super fresh and light, and the salmon in the pan Arctic char was perfectly cooked. We also really enjoyed the piri piri chicken, shrimp tacos and tuna crudo. The fries and bunuelos were good to snack on but not sure if I’d get them again since there are so many other delicious options on the menu. The inside is funky and brightly colored (with a huge tv playing Bob’s Burgers), and there’s a separate rooftop bar in the same building that you can head to after. The patio out back was great in the warm weather and has its own bar in a shipping container. I will definitely be coming back!
