    Mix of comfort food and New Orleans cuisine. Delicious! The service was touch and go as large parties came in toward the end of our dinner, but overall everything was great! Atmosphere was lovely and they had Christmas music playing…dimmed the lights at 6pm. A must!

    Service was not good. Very slow, inattentive, not informative. Server was more interested in her phone than in the guests. I should have heeded the warnings in the reviews. I was hoping for a nice birthday dinner for my wife, however we were disappointed. The food was very good though.

    While we understand it was Thanksgiving and perhaps a non-traditional night for the business, we were extremely disappointed in our experience. This was mostly due to our table-side service. While our waitress was nice, she continued to disappear for a long stretches of time in a restaurant that didn’t seem particularly busy, and with no acknowledgement or apology. Instead of starting the conversation with letting us know what entrées were sold out, she had to come back to the table two separate times to tell me to that both entrées I’d attempted to order were out. I could excuse a lack of knowledge the first time except that at the table next to us I watched the same thing happen when they ordered after us. Then my entree came out about 15 minutes before my friends’ and our waitress didn’t notice until she came back halfway though my meal. For some reason this restaurant does not allow the larger glass bottles of water to be placed on the table for self-service, but instead of remedying that with consistent water service, customers are left constantly asking for refills and with an often absent waitress, we were in need of water most of the night. The space is nice and the food was pretty good, but unfortunately the whole night was ultimately a bust given our poor service. Again we recognize that it was a holiday but if you’re going to be open, your service has got to be up to the task. Unfortunately we would not return here and would not feel comfortable recommending this restaurant to others.

    We were looking forward to a good seafood Thanksgiving dinner, but instead we got delays and excuses. Once the starters finally arrived, these were good, but we ended up cancelling the entrée when it arrived at the table with skin on it after having been sitting in the kitchen without delivery.

    Service was great! Our waiter was very attentive. The food was good, although portions were a little on the small side. Overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend going here.

    When the waitress asked me what we wanted to drink, we told her iced tea as we had enough alcohol for the day. We never saw her again. Waited 20 minutes to order in a 3/4 empty restaurant. She entered the room four times and never returned to our table. So I apologized to the bus boy and told him to tell the waitress, We’re sorry we wasted HER time. There’s too many great choices in New Orleans. Don’t waste your time with this place.

    Ordered Apptz , Salads, Entrees and dessert Brunch Menu Cinamon Bun apptz was Delicious Salad did not come out until after entree - had to remind waiter i ordered it One of the entrees was not what was ordered Breakfast bowl was mainly hash browns Blue Crab omlet very good Dessert was frozen Waiter was very accomodating and apologetic.

    I didn’t expect the levels of great service, ambience, attentiveness, taste and value at the restaurant. The host or greeter at the door, I think his name was George, made me and my daughter (and her friends) feel very welcome. I’ll alway come here now that I had this experience when I visit New Orleans.

    My husband and I were given some local advice to dine here. We were told the food was great It lived up to the expectation. The service though was poor. Instead of complaining I ask the door manager if they were having a staffing problem. Yes they were. Two large parties in their backroom and staff who had called out. Not sure why they were seating people then. We were delivered our dinner and then never checked on. Had to get up and get our own water. I would like to go back again as I did enjoy the food, but would hate to take the chance of being neglected again.

    Huge shoutout to Jas and the kitchen team at The Kingfish Kitchen and Bar! Our experience was phenomenal. The atmosphere exuded sophistication, and the staff displayed genuine care and enthusiasm for their work. The place was impeccably clean, almost miraculous! When General Manager Derek came to our table, we couldn't stop praising the Swordfish Dish with NOLA-style BBQ butter that Jas recommended. My partner enjoyed the Red Beans and Rice with the crispiest fried chicken, topped with a fig and pepper jelly glaze that was irresistibly sweet. The French Bread served in a bag added a charming touch. Jas's attentiveness, Derek's management, and the overall perfection of the drinks made our visit truly memorable. If you're in New Orleans, a visit to Kingfish is a must!

    The food was the star… the wait staff was slow to our table. We ordered drinks when the appetizer came to the table and the waiter brought them to us after we were done eating… never checked on how we were doing… there didn’t appear to be any reason for the long delay, except for the fact he was chatting by the kitchen door and didn’t go to the bartender after we placed our order… Food was great, my fettuccine was luke warm, but tasty.

    We started with drinks, which were good. We ordered our food, and the waitress came back a good while later and asked for our order again. We waited a good while afterward. The twice backed potatoes were salty. The collards were also a little salty. The swordfish was wayyy too thin and heavily fried. The chicken was the best of all. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't a meal that you would rave about.

    Incredibly mediocre food. Service was fine but our server dropped the check without offering dessert or coffee bc he wanted to go home (it was still 50min before closing).

    Location is good, food was honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Biscuits are to die for! Service is lacking terribly. If it wasn’t for the floor manager being so attentive and checking on us and our needs, I would’ve been really upset with this experience. Unfortunately, our actual server was nonexistent until it came time to pay. Overall, good food.
