   I really like this place. The ambiance, service and food was great but a little pricey for what it is. Yes I’d go back. The margaritas were good , food was good but my bill for 3 was over $200. 🤷‍♀️. All and all no regrets.

   We went on a Wednesday at 12:30 PM party of three. There were 2 hostesses, 2 waitresses, at least 2 busboys and maybe 12 patrons. We were seated immediately since the restaurant had just opened. The waitress came over to take our order, and I asked for a minute because I had to translate for a non-English speaker. She got annoyed and said “well then I’ll be back when you’re ready”. I waved her down and she took our drink and food order, looking annoyed and bothered the entire time. My food arrived as did my daughters, but we waited 12 minutes for the third plate. At no time did she come and check on us, refill our drinks or even ask if everything was OK. I finally flagged down a bus boy and told him about the food and also if he can bring me an extra sour cream. When he returned, he put the sour cream on my plate and literally put his hand in my food, disgusting. Then the final plate came, and it was cold (salmon and rice). Seems like it was left on the counter and forgotten. The biggest shock of all was when the bill came, and there was already a 20% gratuity added. No wonder the waitress doesn’t care, she’ll get a tip regardless. Stay away from this establishment, the food may be good, but the service is subpar.

   Mexican restaurant with extremely loud Cuban music… what a disconnect… be mindful that extra chips will be charged but you will not be advised of such charge.. tip is included in the bill… be careful not to double tip. Food taste was below average. Servers were very good… maybe the only positive… definitely not going back..

   Having 20% tip added to the bill is not acceptable and in top of that requesting more tip is absurd

   I felt the waitress was rushing us… I did feel good vibes inside I wanted leave. Definitely not good for a date.

    This was my second time at Cantina Catrina, and service is poor. They need to do better. The first time, the hostess became our server because the service was so bad. I even saw people at the table next to mine just walk out because we waited so long for our server. The second time, our waitress did not speak English. She brought water and disappeared, when my guess arrived she brought water, the lemonade I ordered came 20mns later. She never returned for our orders, I had to call the hostess. My food came first after 25mns, my guess food never came out. Had to call for attention, and finally, after another 15-20mns, the food came. Our server never returned to check on us. What a disappointment. I would rather do their food truck as I sure the service would be better.
