We were in Dallas for the weekend and decided yo try the Commons Club and it was great! The food was excellent and well worth the time. It was very energetic and it seemed liked the place to be on a Saturday night.

My husband and I came here for NYE and were pretty disappointed by the food and the level of service. There was a pre-fix menu that evening, but we came earlier in the evening before it began, which was fine, however the menu that was being offered instead was extremely limited, and there was a lot of confusion between our waiter and the kitchen about what was being offered at that time. We enjoyed our charcuterie board, but the waiter could hardly say what was on it when we asked and we also had to request appetizer plates. My husband had a flatbread that was so small and drowned in cheese, my shrimp scampi was generally pretty salty, and had bites here and there that were extremely salty, so much so that I was thirsty for the rest of the evening and even got up for a glass in the middle of the night. I just assumed it was how the dish was supposed to be at first, but somebody must have spilled the salt into the dish because I have never experienced such bizarre thirst after a meal before. On any other night the Commons Club might be ok, but the staff seemed pre-occupied with the coming rush of NYE guests that we didn't feel that we received the same standard of service as other guests.

We had brunch on NYE and sat on the patio. It was beautiful! Thank you Troy he was our server and the bartender. He made our afternoon with his bubbly personality. It was just what we needed to start our celebrations. We had the best brunch experience and will be back! Our food was amazing too and large portions.

Very cool vibe at this hotel and restaurant. Lights were a little bright and would be cozier if lowered a bit. Menu and wine list both nice with plenty of choices and not too big. I find smaller menus provide better food, since they serve what is best and usually in season. Service was attentive and pleasant.

Overpriced with small portions. A big dog was seated with a couple by our table and I'm allergic. Asked to be moved and they put us at a table that wasnt any further away than our original seat. Was sneezing and coughing because of it which made for an uncomfortable dinner. Service was pretty slow but our waitress did the best she could. It seemed like she had a lot of tables to take care of. Just ok not an enjoyable Christmas dinner.

Christmas Day Evening dinner. The food was great, as we had the pork belly, caviar, crab claws, meatballs for appetizers. Then everyone enjoyed their steaks all good perfectly. The negatives were the bar drinks took way to long to get and the service matched from the waiter. That was really disappointing.

Last year we dined at Commons Club and enjoyed a nice prime rib dinner special. We booked again this year only to find the same menu was not offered this year. We were given a menu for the later part of the day, which included holiday specials, but the offering of the full brunch menu cheapened the experience we enjoyed last year. We opted to just have a couple of drinks and went elsewhere to dine. The bartender was great, playful with his customers with a festive holiday spirit.

This was our first time visiting and it was fabulous. I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. We ordered the hamburger and the pancake board. We could have just ordered the pancake board for the table as it was overflowing with pancakes, bacon, and toppings. Everything was delicious.

The worst experience of a life time and was actually sent away and unable to eat and pretty much treated like we weren’t paying customers. Not one single staff member at all spoke or came to hostess table stand at the front entrance the bar and restraint itself was not by any means over crowded or busy at all it was seldom people Customer based and staff careless and distasteful to the extent we stood there 35 minutes PASSED our SCHEDULED RESERVATION we was at our reservation on time in the building and wasn’t approached and bypassed s as if we didn’t exist at all just two people in there young twenties trying to have an anniversary dinner together and after standing there patient and kind I stood there and pushed the reservation back from 10 to 1015 bc I guess they forgot pre schedule dinner reservations? We had to physically stop an employee guy from talking and cutting up to say hey where are we supposed to go for our reservation we’ve been standing here for 30 mins and he went to get the manager bc he in his defense didn’t know what to do or say bc little did I know they had called last call and shut their kitchen down while we were standing there with no one asking to help or seat us the bartender actually ignored when I tried getting her attention. Manger lady actually began to argue and attempt to justify in some way that I was in the wrong and belittle me and talk down to me like I was stupid and I was calm kind and very humble and just wanted to eat confused and beyond disrespected to also be told maybe you can go see if Whataburger is open. This place was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered customer service in and funny thing is we are the type of customers that are the literal easiest to make happy and allways tip the amount of total check. We also drove over 9 hours for that place and the experience to be treated like that was the biggest slap in the face.

We took the family for Christmas Eve brunch and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, though service was a little slow at first. The space is exactly what we expect from a Virgin property, as was the staff. There was even a moment of “entertainment” as we valeted the cars due to a domestic disturbance in front of the hotel! Thankfully the rest of the day was peaceful. We look forward to our next visit. Good to know the restaurant validates parking on weekdays only.

Reserved online using Open Table app. Called ahead the day of to confirm reservation. Arrived only to be told my reservation could not be found… However, we were still seated without further issue and the food was amazing. The lobster “scampi” was phenomenal and the chicken was also great. The peach cocktail with gin was unexpectedly good. Valet was convenient and worth the $10.00. This was a much more positive experience from my first one at Virgin.

Went to what is called a Drag Brunch and found the the Host was horrible. I have seen better drag at an amateur drag show in Wyoming. And having to pay over $120 for a table that couldn’t even hold all the food and drinks for two people is ridiculous. Out of the four performers, two were good and they were title holders, the other two didn’t belong at such a “high establishment “ and the host definitely didn’t belong, she didn’t even preform. I will not return as long as the current host is there and do not recommend anyone else go.

Took my team to drag brunch for our holiday Christmas party and we have so much fun! The queens did not disappoint and the show was so much. Fun! The menu was a set menu so they bring out the same thing to every table. I don’t eat meat but there were still plenty options to pick from on the bird cage! We had a blast.

I liked the ambiance. When I came in I had to ask if I would be seated by a host and there was none available. The bartender was who end up assisting us. The only other thing I seen was the glasses on the tables weren’t as clean seem to have been sitting for decor for awhile. Overall it was okay.

The food selection or lack of selection is the reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars. You need to go back to letting folks pick their food selection. I didn’t come for the food but b4 at least I got to eat what I want. I was prepared to get the steak and eggs which cost more than the preselected menu pp but I was told I didn’t have a choice I had to buy that spicy mismatch food tray. The chicken was soaked in hot sauce I could smell it the min they sat it on the table the avacado toast was covered in smelly cheese and onions and that egg dish was gross. I love the show, performers host and server but I don’t know if I will go again as long as I am required to buy that tray of food. Plz give people the option to eat what they want as long their bill adds up to the required total or charge for admission but don’t force that hot spicy food for breakfast on folks
