This was my second visit since this restaurant reopened as Cucina Cabana. The first time things went fine, this second time was really embarrassing since we had encouraged another couple to join us. Long story short, the wine list has no years of the vintage listed, the entrees came out 45 minutes late after asking three times for it, and then the dishes came out luke warm to cold. That's a shame since they have invested a lot of money in the decor. They kept on pleading ignorance and that the meals would be coming out shortly, except that they didn't. We found out later that one of our dishes was dropped in the kitchen and had to be recooked. Why not be honest with the customer right from the beginning?
The couple at the next table stated that they had had a similar experience at their last attempt, but their meal did not show up for an hour, so they left. Our friends have stated firmly that they will not return to the restaurant.
Wonderful restaurant food wonderful can’t wait to go back
We did not get to see the entertainment as the entertainer was sick. The restaurant is very pretty and the bar is a nice size. Perfect for Happy Hour as there is plenty of seating. Happy hour was great and the food choices on the happy hour menu were good and well priced. The bartenders were very personable and fun.
The early bird menu was nice, but it was ala carte so buying a dinner did not give you a salad to go with it, unlike other restaurants that price the early birds like a prix fixe menu.
The main dinner menu was very nice with plenty of items to chose from however, it is definitely on the high end. Everything is ala carte so if you want an appetizer and salad you have to factor that in as the dinner does not even include a salad.
The dinner menu pasta was way overpriced, $24 and up. I had the pasta and it was very good, but in my opinion not worth the price. Some of the pastas had clams or were with seafood or meat, but still the price was just too high. The happy hour pasta was $9 and the size was just a little smaller than the pasta on the dinner menu. While not as fancy as the dinner menu pastas, they were delicious.
I will go back as I want to enjoy the entertainment they offer.
Fantastic food, friends and fun. One of a kind show by Ray Chang and the most unique dining and entertainment experience in all of South Florida!
Loved the atmosphere, service and food! A little disappointed with the $10. Sharing charge. Also, we thought we would get 1/2 price wine during the Happy Hour, but didn't, since we were at a table. $15 a glass for house wine, I thought was a little high. Overall, loved the food, so it was all good! Just cant go as often as I would like.
It is a very pleasant and nice restaurant. The food is very good. Kathy at the front desk is a pleasure
and very welcoming and helpful
When we arrived we were seated quickly. We sat in the dining room towards the back. Where we were sitting you could see a door that led back to the kitchen area. While we were sitting there we heard a male server drop the F—- bomb loudly, and practice some unusual food handling. We thought about walking out and told our server Mia. Mia quickly got the manager Cheryl. Cheryl apologized for what we saw there for what he said. Cheryl stated this type of behavior is not typical of their staff and is not tolerated. Cheryl convinced us to stay and we had outstanding dinner. My wife and I both had the egg plant appetizer ( beyond excellent) and veal picatta and breaded veal scallopini (cut with a fork tender) , and for desert ice cream ball (really yummy) and tiramisu. Mia was an outstanding server and Cheryl was a very professional manager. I am glad we stayed and would recommend Cucina Cabana.
Had the truffled mozzarella pillow raviolis for an appetizer... they were fabulous! I ordered the scallops they were cooked perfectly!!! Highly highly recommend the restaurant we will definitely be back.
This place was awesome would recommend to everyone great food great location great musician.
Great place great food good time ya gotta go to cucina cabana and judge for yourself
Absolutely horrible experience with a waiter who acted as if he was high or something. The owner came to see us on our way out after the hostess had asked about our server. Like other reviewers, there was a half baked apology with “next time you come back...” don’t expect to ever go back there.
Terrific food, service, entertainment! Great value!!
Great restaurant with outstanding food. Thomas are usual waiter was great as always.
Food was great as was the service. The fried calamari was excellent.
Do go to Cucina Cabana if you want a lively atmosphere and good food. Don't go if you're seeking a quiet evening. Even on a Tuesday night off season the bar was packed and the music was loud. Our server, Cookie, was great. The food was delicious. Although, not inexpensive, the size of the portions is very generous. We will definitely be going back.
Average food and service, reasonable prices. Live entertainment in bar aimed at older generation.
Entries were very good, however Caesar salad dressing was not very good, tasted like a poor excuse for Italian dressing and not very cold. Overall a nice evening. Will go back.
For a restaurant that is still relatively new they really have there act together ! The place is meticulous. The staff are well trained and knowledgeable before they wait on customers. Our waiter was in his own words a "very recent" addition. But he knew about everything on the menu and about the history of the restaurant, chef, owners etc. The décor is done with a high level of taste and there is provision for an extended Happy Hour, music, and a fairly extensive "bar bites" menu. There is a generous allocation of space for and between tables. The ceilings have sections of wood paneling to buffer the sound. There is free valet parking and get this--when you go to get your car there are comfortable chairs to sit in while you wait. I don't even have to tell you all that much about the authentic Italian cuisine. Obviously, any one who would put so much thought into making his customers have every convenience and amenity is going to serve a great meal!
GNO and New Job celebration
Great food as we’ve been there many times. But last Saturday night felt like from the waitress ( who stood over me when I was getting my CC out to pay the bill and who’s service was below par) to the kitchen we were getting the rush job. Food was still awesome. Go you won’t regret it.
This is the second year we went for Flavor Of Palm Beach and were not disappointed. Food and service were exceptional as usual. Very noisy when full, had requested a quiet table as I am hearing impaired and was seated in the middle of the noisy section.
Our experience was very pleasant. In the future we will get there in time for Happy Hour. The drinks otherwise can be pricey. Good but pricey. I liked the idea that one can order 1/2 a portion. I am not a big eater, so this idea is terrific.
All in all you will have a great evening of dining.
Went on a Friday night. Really enjoyed ourselves. Good food, great service and fun atmosphere.
Food and ambiance were wonderful! Can’t wait to go again!
Fantastic food and great specials! Amazing service to top it off!
First time visit, after being recommended by friends. Was a special date night dinner with husband, so had high expectations for the evening. Cucina Cabana did not disappoint. Lively atmosphere, was seated straight away in bar dining room. They had live entertainment that evening which was a gentleman singing mainly Frankie Valli, he was brilliant! Mia was our server, and she too was wonderful. Dinner started off with great cocktails and fresh garlic bread which was superb. I ordered the veal scallopine, my husband had the pork chop. Both were very good, the only slight reason for not giving higher rating was both meals were quite salty. Have been back since and asked specifically for low / no salt and was pleased. Highly recommended for special night out with friends, business clients or significant other as live music with supper club vibe is a hit. POSHPADZ Luxury Properties gives this one a thumbs up to visit!
WE went for Flavor of Palm Beach, Three of the four used the Flavor menu and all were pleasantly surprised how great the food was. I opted for a house special which was exceptionally great(roast crispy duck) good. The service was especially friendly and efficient. Will go back soon.
Outstanding food and service! Atmosphere was gorgeous!
Entertainment was unbelievable!
Good food ,service and ambiance.
An enjoyable evening out.
If you want more excitement, sit in the bar area where there is live music.
When we arrived there was no reservation on their computer...my iPhone had it. Also Aldo told me I could order Eggplant Parmif I requested it early... since they never had my reservation they never got my note. Disappointed
Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service
Overall, I like Cucina Cabana. It has a great menu with a wide variety for foodies: a number of salads and lighter fare along with heavier pasta and meat dishes. The quality of the food is good. The bar scene is fun and lively with musical entertainment, but if you want a quiet dinner, reserve on the quieter restaurant side.
We have enjoyed eating here many times and have never been disappointed in food or service.
The atmosphere was really nice with some live music in the lounge. Food was delicious however even though the server was very friendly, she was not very knowledgeable, giving entirely incorrect info about a dish. Maybe she’s new. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and for sure I’ll be back!
My martini was warm😖
Server was doing the best she could...was pretty busy..but hard to get her attention substituting the daily vegetable for asparagus cost 6 dollars..
Three out of four dinners were delicious and generously plated. My dinner was tasty but not much to eat on my plate. Chicken piccata was plated in a very small portion and cost $25.00. Service was mediocre. Great and lively entertainment, Ray Chang was delightful. The manager only reduced my meal by $5.00.
My wife’s dinner which was ‘veal sorrintino’ was like cardboard and eggplant was hard. Was Cheese was not melted. Disappointing. Appetizer of mussels and clams was outstanding. Desert giloto ice cream was good.
This is a beautiful restaurant. We were greeted warmly and the waitress explained the menu. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer and main courses. The calamari was excellent and the main courses were very good. We had no room for dessert. we definitely will be back.
Our table was entirely to small food was good but brought out a little to fast it was our 4th visit our 1st was the best the other 3 were ok
Been here a few times and its always great. Large VERY Italian portions. Good service and the people there.....we call it dinner and a show!
Has a NY Strip wrapped in bacon with Fontana cheese, peppers and onions. OUTRAGEOUS!
Scallops were excellent, salads very good.
