Noise level made for difficult conversation.The appetizers were good but the snapper special for two was bland and tasteless.The salmon was dry.The backlava was a large portion and quiet good.

Had a delicious lunch at Anassa Taverna. They have the best hummus - very creamy rather than grainy - andit's made in house. Really enjoyed the lamb skewers, oregano fries, pita break and dips.

I ate lunch here with a good friend. We had lovely unobtrusive service, our conversation was not interrupted. The food is delicious and fresh. The Greek salad was wonderful - beautiful fresh tomatoes and feta. The hummus is excellent. The seafood was absolutely fresh and beautifully prepared. Anassa was off my radar for a little bit, but I will definitely stop in again more regularly.

A pleasant lunch with a friend and the food and service were just right. Sitting next to a window on an early March Day gives me hope NYC will be back to the life I once loved. Had the lamb special with greens, beets on the side and spinach and my friend had tuna and all was fabulous. I will go back again.
