    Made the reservation, had it confirmed as evident by the ability to write this review. My wife and I got dressed up to go eat our anniversary dinner at this steak house that was highly recommended by our daughter. We got there, and it was not open. There was no one inside. The lights were off and door was locked. I called and there was no answer. I thought maybe we were too early (by ten minutes), but the hours on the door said they open at 12pm. It wasn't like the restaurant was getting ready for dinner, it was literally empty. So, we left, found an Italian restaurant down the block, which we loved. We found our new place to go. As we passed by the steak house after our dinner, we checked if maybe they opened, they didn't. I don't understand how they can take a reservation, confirm it, and be closed to said reservation. So, I cannot say how the food was, because we didn't get to eat it. But, I will say that, next time, we will simply go down the block to the restaurant that was open.

    Food good… service horrible. When we arrived for dinner, the maître d' was sitting at a table with guests. We had to get his attention to be seated. The waiters didn’t check on our table as expected and we had to ask for our table to be cleared of crumbs. Service is everything and for the money spent, I expected more. I would not return. I choose to spend my money where I feel wanted.

    We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. It was my father’s birthday and our first time there right off the bat we were treated like family. My dad is 79 years old and said that was the best steak he has ever had. The service was impeccable. I will be returning. Thank you so much for everything.

    I really wanted to like the restaurant but was unimpressed overall. The waiter made us feel like it was a bother to serve us, it took ALONG time to get food. They would bring serving pieces & condiments and food would not come for a long while. My husband's steak sandwich was short on meat and very lackluster for a steakhouse. MY steak was...fine. The sauteed broccoli was under seasoned. My husband's lemon sorbet had a nasty after taste and the recommended keylime pie.....I do not recommend. Bread basket was very good & my coffee was fresh. Not returning.

    It had been a while since our last visit here and by the end we were sorry it had been that long. Our servers were very attentive and pleasant. The ambience is a warm, steakhouse kind of feel. The food, as always, was superb. The oysters were fresh and yummy. Our steak and veal chop were perfectly prepared. Our servers and the manager stopped by a few times to ensure everything was as expected. We agreed we will be back again soon as we both thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    We had to wait a while for our table even with a reservation but on Valentine’s Day that is usually the case. My food was cold but I didn’t mention it because I don’t like to do so and it was busy. I also feel like the price was very high for the amount of food given.

    We enjoyed our dinner. We went at 5 on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, the Mac and cheese was delicious!

    Had a great time at Sea Flame. This is my second time there and the bone-in rib eye was divine. Perhaps the best part about this restaurant is the value. It's so well priced compared to a lot of other restaurants, especially for the portion sizes. We also ordered the burger and were left incredibly satisficed. I will say that the calamari was just okay, but calamari is pretty boring, if I'm honest.

    We have been here twice. The food consists of exceptional quality stake house items. The raw bar oysters are wonderfully prepared, with cocktail and mignonette sauces. Meat and seafood entrees and sides all were top flight. Service was welcoming and attentive each time we went there. The cost was on par with other great steak houses.

    I am not one to write many reviews, but felt compelled based on my lackluster experience here. First, despite the pretty outside of the restaurant still decorated in holiday lights, the interior lacked ambiance and looks like a high end diner. For the relatively high prices, all the food we ordered with the exception of the steak was awful. I knew we made a mistake as soon as our appetizer came out (baked clams) - they were unevenly sized and mostly very small (like 1 big one and 5 baby ones), lacked consistent topping, and were not baked through enough. I ordered the truffle shrimp fettuccini. Well, it looked terrible with 3 small shrimp and zero truffle. And taste was not much better. I asked the waiter if there was any truffle in the ‘truffle shrimp fettuccini’ dish and he said they put a little truffle oil in. So $35-40 at this restaurant gets you a plate of subpar boxed pasta, 3 shrimp, a few mushrooms (which were also quite hard to find in the dish), and a little truffle oil. I am not at all a chef and could’ve made this dish way better at home myself. I told the waiter all of this, and he did not ask if I’d like to order something else or offer any type of solution whatsoever. While the waiter was perfectly pleasant and seemingly adept, it was a somewhat surprising lack of customer service. The filet mignon was good though so I wound up sharing that with my husband. If you do decide go to this establishment, stick to the steak.

    Food was great, except for the salmon, which was the thin, tail end, dry and fishy. Prices fair. Drinks strong. Service good. I’d go back and not order salmon.

    We went for NYE dinner because Sea Flames is one of our favorite local restaurants. And we had a great time. The food and service are always good here. My favorite dish is honestly the burger lol but the porterhouse and shrimp scampi are also top of my list when I want to have a proper dinner.

    Service was OK…Felt rushed to order main course, did took some time for meals to arrive but figured it was due to holiday. Will probably try again but not a priority spot. Especially when frequently dining with 6 or more ppl. And it’s 15 degrees out so bit more heat would be good due to the front door draft of cold air In restaurant.

    Have gone to The SeaFlame twice in the past week. Both times only moderately busy and early in the evening. Service both times was extremely slow. Almost an hour to get appetizers and another hour for main course. Each meal was 2-2:30 hours long. Good good but you may want to bring a cot.

    Birthday day celebration for both me and my husband. The food was excellent. I had the Chilean Sea Bass it was grilled yet so tender that it melted in your mouth. My husband had the Ribeye and it was well charred but tender. We had a ball

    Not a good experience unfortunately. I will like to start by saying the food was very good and the waiters were very friendly. I had made reservations for 7pm for my husband’s birthday a party of 12, it was confirmed by them as well. I even went early to drop off a cake and again reservation was confirmed for 7pm. I was called the same day that my table won’t be ready until 7:30pm, then they changed it for 8pm. I called to make sure the text I was getting from Open Table was incorrect, and they confirmed my table will be ready at 7:30. I had my party of 12 meet us there and table wad NO READY. Hostess apologized and said he couldn’t have our table ready because the restaurant needed to make money and if I didn’t want to wait, I could take my business somewhere else. I suggested to offer a drink for my guests and hostess agreed to offer it under their expense. We finally sat at 8pm, we didn’t get bread or water until we asked for it. Then again we weren’t ask for appetizers until we asked for it. We finally had our dinner at 10am! I was going to have my company holiday party there but because of this bad experience, we are taking our business somewhere else. I go out to dinner pretty often for many years around the world. I had never experience this kind of treatment for a reputable business.

    Our previous experience have been great. We had an early reservation at 5:15. Appetizers came out quickly then salad came out much later after asking about for it. Our meals steak, seafood risotto, asparagus and a baked potato came out really late. When we got to the restaurant there were only a few tables which steadily picked up but the amount of time each of course took was excessively too long. We ordered dessert, then are told “we ran out of cheesecake!” How can you run out of cheesecake in two hours? Either you never had it or clearly didn’t make or order any. A complete incompetent management system IMO. It was a disappointing experience this time around. We should of went to Benjamin’s steakhouse. We will not be coming back anytime soon.

    We had a 6pm reservation, we were greeted friendly by all staff. The food was very good; steak had the perfect texture - nice char and not overdone. The sides were enough to share for 2 and the drinks - were amazing!!!! I will definitely go again :)

    Very disappointed with the menu for Restaurant Week- most of the entrees did NOT come with any veggies or potatoes- u had to pay extra for side dishes which really increases the “special price dinner”. We all wound up ordering off the regular menu. It as so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other speak.

    Went for restaurant week for first time . Good selection of an appetizer, entree and dessert . My friend wanted Campari and soda which they did not have , then asked aperol which they also did not have ? Anyway we ordered wine . 2 of us had lobster bisque to start and two had baked clams which were both excellent. 0ne had flounder Francese one had salmon and two of us had shrimp scampi . It was all delicious . Only complaint is that they could have gave a vegetable ( 5.95 extra ) Fir dessert 2 had cheesecake and two had chocolate mousse. The portions were very small : there was more whipped cream ( fresh and delicious) than dessert . Overall it was a positive experience jut wish the portions were a bit bigger .
