My wife and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary, drawn in by the many positive reviews online. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the hype. While the food was undeniably excellent—worthy of praise—the service left much to be desired. From the moment we were seated, our server was unwelcoming, inattentive, and lacked basic hospitality. We were not properly greeted, and throughout the evening, it felt as though we were being overlooked. When another couple was seated beside us, the stark contrast in treatment was impossible to ignore. It genuinely made us question whether our experience was influenced by bias, as we were the only Asians in the group. To make matters worse, despite the high prices, there was no complimentary dessert or special acknowledgment of our anniversary—something we’ve always received at other restaurants on this occasion. Even after mentioning it to our server, we were met with nothing more than a dismissive smirk and a hollow "Happy Anniversary" that lacked any sincerity. A special occasion should feel special, and this restaurant failed to deliver that. While the food was great, the service was disappointing enough that we won’t be returning. Sadly, this was our first and last visit, and we cannot recommend it to others.

We absolutely LOVED our Father's Day dinner at Russell's. We went last year and our server was so excellent that when I booked the table, I asked for him! One of the special things he did last year was share some peanut M&Ms with us - it seems silly, but it made the world of difference to our dining experience as he was so generous and so kind! Well, after dinner last night, he brought out mini bags of peanut M&Ms once again for us! Of course, we still ordered their INCREDIBLE desserts off the menu, but it was just a sweet gesture. hH also stayed past his shift so he could serve us. We tipped well as he was worth it! Also, the food is so good. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend this place!

The service is always outstanding and the staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Menu does not have as many options as some places that have menus like a magazine but the choices are great and the food is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We celebrated a birthday with a delicious dinner. The server was engaged and so pleasant. The atmosphere is so open and yet private. We loved it!

Fantastic- had not been for a while. This was our anniversary. We were asked online and by the hostess if this was a special occasion; I said it was our anniversary. If they ask twice, seems like it would be acknowledged somehow. Several years ago they gave us a slice of cheesecake with Happy anniversary written on the plate. Not a big deal, but why ask? We will go back for sure— very good food. Our server was really great. No wait for getting hot bread, great wine… fun evening.

It’s very difficult to find a quality restaurant that has both excellent food as well as excellent service barking Frog doesn’t even come close anymore. Heritage is too loud. The food is just OK and the service spread too thin. Russell is over the top the best in the area. The portions are huge, which is a good thing cause we’re going to enjoy leftovers for dinner tonight which makes it even better..
