   Arrived for 6:00 pm reservations. Rough-start as menu was limited and also cryptic even for a fairly sophisticated restaurant goer. Why were we seated near the front door? (We were perfect and happy for the first 20 minutes then it became a minor nuisance as dinner service swung into high gear. ) The server was a good and pleasant person. Patient. Knew his stuff. Helpful, not overbearing or condescending. Ultimately it’s probably a good wine bar but menu needs work. Why is minced rabbit meat added to another meat and baked in a pie? Almost ordered it but was too annoyed, plus I ate ice cream across the street at Van Leeuwen just before arriving-oink! #VanLeeuwen Salted Caramel... but I digress... On the other hand, the desert menu was good. Yes, we had dessert. In a word, I characterize dinner as “unsettling.” Some one on staff did run out in the freezing cold to catch us and bring my colleague’s iPhone before we pulled off in a Lyft...Thanks for the assist!

   Went on NYE so the restaurant was buzzing, everything was very good, the bread and butter and the toffee pudding were my favorite. I was very impressed by the extensive wine list!
