Cathédrale is a French-Mediterranean restaurant by Tao Group Hospitality Chef/Partner Ralph Scamardella, in collaboration with Executive Chef Jason Hall (formerly of acclaimed restaurants like Gotham Bar & Grill, Anthos and Craft). The menu brings elemental, ingredient-driven cooking to the forefront, evoking the grandeur of the past while remaining contemporary in its execution. Dishes put pleasure over spectacle, taking inspiration from Southern France with traces of Italy, Spain and Greece as seen in our signature Potato Chip Omelette, Black Truffle Fettuccine, 14oz Entrecôte Au Poivre, as well as our 48 oz Mishima Reserve Wagyu Tomahawk.

Cathédrale is quickly becoming one of my favorite happy hour spots in New York. The martinis are great and the happy hour bites never miss. I had the mushroom toast without cheese and it was so flavorful. You could really taste the truffle and the toast was perfectly crispy. The lobster rolls are my go-to and always hit. The potato croquettes were creamy and the truffle fries with lemon aioli were amazing. I could eat that aioli on everything. If you sit at the bar or in the lounge, you order at the bar, but they bring everything to your table. Solid food, great drinks, good vibe.

Surprisingly good. Why am I not reading about this restaurant? Your entrance is a bit dodgy for a restaurant of this caliber.

The food was good, though menu was somewhat limited and overpriced. The wine was very good. The server encouraged us to order more food than required. Disappointed that we could not participate in happy hour oyster and champagne while seated at a table.

We had a reservation at 9PM but could only get our table at 9:45. Not an issue if we could get a drink of some kind of service, instead we got an attitude. So we did not had a great start, however the restaurant looks nice and the food was good but their prices are high.
