   Picanha has delicious food. The meat is great. The buffet is also great, especially the hot food section. The staff are always welcoming and gracious. They make great caipirinhas. And the whole place always has a really good vibe. I definitely recommend it.

   Since it’s restaurant week, I can understand the food might be different, but the total experience was really poor. Meat quality was fine, but not well seasoned. Fatty pieces were too common. The floors to the salad bar were very slippery. Service was hard to get for drinks. Just not an enjoyable experience.

   Went here for restaurant week and all you can eat plus tres leches dessert for $40 was a great deal. The food was excellent! I did not love that some of the meat was only being served medium/medium well because I prefer medium rare. The servers were attentive and consistently refilled our waters and came around with more meat. The only issue I had was that the tables were very close together.

    Our daughter took us for our anniversary during restaurant week. We really enjoyed the intimate setting and attentive staff. They were so pleasant and helpful explaining the different meat selections. We had a glass of wine which was a nice pour and a water carafe that was filled without asking. The hot and cold bar had quite a large selection and was fresh and replenished when needed. We weren’t rushed at all. Our favorites were Picanha, lamb and bacon wrapped chicken. I especially liked the fruit and vegetable selection. We all were so full but ate the delicious tres leches cake!

    This restaurant was excellent! We went in January 2023 and the atmosphere, the service and the food! Oh my goodness it was extraordinary! Definitely recommend going to everyone and I will be going back again!

    Arrived on time for scheduled time slot. Seated right away. It's restaurant week, so maybe they tried to put more seating capacity for the area . The tables were a little cramped and walking between tables to go to the buffet was challenging to say the least. Otherwise the buffet was plentiful and the meats were exceptional as well as the service. The dessert was also great. We supplemented it with the fried bananas and pineapples.

    all the employees were hand-picked. All were mannerly and very friendly. Food variety was well-chosen and displayed appealingly. We'll be back. We've been to your Castor Avenue location and found the same level of professionalism. The food at Locust Street was noticeably on a higher scale although Castor was most acceptable.

    The service was great Julio was our waiter and he was awesome. It’s started off kinda shaky with the greeter but someone came to help her to get us started. The hot/cold bar was good also. The photos of the hot/cold bar and drinks are a little misleading but I think it’s because we didn’t know it was restaurant week and they had a special menu for that. All the meats were cooked perfectly and they come around frequently. Everyone is so nice and happy. You can even make requests for certain meats to double back. It is very congested in there as far as moving around but not the tables themselves.

    To compare to Fogo food and buffet was surpassed expectations excellent flavor and choices Far service a 3 out of 5 poor had card on green and was passed by over 5 times guys didn't understand well done kept bring rare meat to my table no to mention I had a 5:15 dinner reservation and wasn't seat until 5:35 I spoke with manager and was rude telling host and I quote him saying talk to to her I don't have time very rude because I could hear him... Staff wasn't helpful and very short. Dinning service sucks. Food great..

    This place is completely congested. The food was horrible not a very good selection at at. I was very shocked that there is only 1 bathroom for women and men… the women were waiting in line to use the bathroom which was very uncomfortable especially near the food. The “waiters” really didn’t understand English, I asked for napkins about 4 times no one brought napkins. After we sat for a while to try to digest this thick meat the workers were standing around looking at us rushing us to leave which is also unacceptable and one of the waiters rushed over with the check forcing us to leave.

    The food was so good! The meats were incredible, and the salad bar had a huge variety. The staff was really nice, too! The meat guys didn't really pay attention to your red sticker, but they walked away once you say "no".

    My husband, daughter and I went to Picanha for our first time during restaurant week and had a great experience! We normally go to Fogo de Chao, however Picanha is a great option to have a similar experience without spending too much. The food was delicious and we liked the different options in the market table as well. They had really great options like chicken wings, fries and pasta for younger kids like my daughter who is 4.5 yrs old. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

    The food is delicious. And yes the place is small which can make it noisy but the atmosphere and services makes up for that. An alternative to fogo that worth exploring.

    Service was incredibly slow, we only saw our waiter 3-4 times, and then they just stopped coming by our table with meat after a certain point even tho one guest was still eating and the other 6 were still drinking (and waiting for drinks... the last round of which never arrived). Cannot recommend.

    We went during Restaurant Week, so we knew it would be busy and it was. We were a bit early, so we thought we’d start with drinks at the bar, but the bartender never offered to serve us - we were there about 10 minutes waiting. Once we were seated, the service was excellent despite the busy night. The sides in the hot and cold food bar were always kept full and the area was kept clean and neat with the plates well stocked. There was an excellent variety of options and we tried most, finding them all to be delicious in addition to the endless supply of sliced meats. We each had a cocktail with our meal, also very good. The meal was finished with a small but delicious serving of tres leches.

    In the winter, try not to sit near the door. The party room looks like amazing seating with the wine bottles all over. Endless things to look at.

    Went for Restaurant Week and it did not disappoint. It’s good that we went when it opened since you’ll see the freshly cooked food and you will be the one to try it first. Meat servers were friendly and they give you good amounts of meat. Attentive and the ambiance is very good. Love the food and all the hot dishes.

    Visited during Restaurant Week. Very busy for a Sunday at 4pm so make reservations. We were seated quickly. Meat was plentiful and able to accommodate medium well as well as well done at the same table. Sides from the buffet were tasty and fresh. Tres Leche dessert was perfect ending!

    Nice place, simple and straight to the point. Excellent for groups and families. Nice selection of cold and hot salad bars and appetizers. The meat cut are good and cooked medium rare, but they also accommodate the request of your temperatures desire. The cocktails and signature drink it's a must to try. Overall was an excellent first-time experience compared with the more prominent Brazilian steak house companies.

    The were not bringing food to our talk. Waiters were more focused on the larger party. I never got to try the chicken wrapped in bacon or two of the steaks…. We said something to one of the waiters and they never came back. Good was good, but value wasn’t there.

    We’ve been here a few times! The food is always good and the service is amazing!! I forget what the servers name was lastnight but she was great. Anthony came and greeted us (he was our server two times previously) and asked how everything was. He recommended a drink to me early 2022 and I’ve been ordering it every since.     We were a group of 14 for a holiday celebration, we were able to be in a semi private space which made the night feel more special. Three of the fourteen have different food allergies and the supervisor walked us through everything each person could have. The meats are fabulous and the tres leches cake the best tres leches cake they have ever had according to those who got it. Personally I have celiac and felt very safe and comfortable eating there. This Brazilian steakhouse has fabulous meats. And always fun especially with a crowd.
