Hakkasan - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Great service. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy and he warned me not to eat any of my sister’s dish because the sauce had shellfish . He also recommended a great dish when I didn’t know what to order. I am glad to say he made the right choice and the food was better than I had anticipated.
Had a lovely meal here for my husbands birthday. The service was great and very friendly. The food was lovely and presented well. There was a vast range of wine and cocktails to choose from. Would definitely recommend a meal here, especially for a special occasion as they make you feel very special.
The service and ambiance makes for an amazing dining experience.
The tasting menu on Open Table is not on the menu - they have several tasting menu options and they start at $88 per person for 2 people (not $58). But instead of just getting a choice of 1 starter and main - we got 2 appetizers, all 5 dishes (plus fried rice) and both desserts. (big meal and well worth it!)
Our meal at Hakkasan was excellent. The restaurant itself is beautiful. There were 3 of us so we got to sample several dishes and there was not a miss. We ended up sitting and eating at the bar which is very nice. We were attended to by 2 people throughout the meal. Recommend Hakkasan completely. So far we have been to them in San Francisco, London Mayfair , Miami and now Vegas with each having a slightly different menu but all excellent.
The restaurant has the same name as the nightclub so for a second we were confused. We were slightly late getting to dinner (traffic on the strip). But we were greeted warmly and were shown right to our table. We started with the din sum sampler it was good and had the spicy prawns and fried rice. My husband ordered dessert and the restaurant gave us a very nice macaroon plate with a happy anniversary message. It was a great night and good food. We would absolutely go again.
The waiter was rude and dismissive. I made it a point when I made a reservation to let the restaurant know it was my brother’s bday. He forgot and didn’t bring any bday dessert. The entire dinner he was extremely rushed and I had to ask him if we could order drinks. Lastly while we were singing happy bday to my brother he interrupted to bring the check and place it in front of my brother. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in Vegas.
The food was fine. My complaint is that the restaurant lists it's final seating at 10:30pm but closed the kitchen by 10:15pm. We had a 9:45pm reservation (after a show at the MGM) for which we arrived a bit early. We declined their invitation to have a drink at the bar prior to seating since we planned on a bottle of wine with dinner. After opening the wine and ordering our first two small plates, the waiter informed us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and we had to order anything else we might want. We ended up with a table full of rapidly cooling small plates. Fastest $200+ meal I've ever eaten. Good thing we passed on the drink at the bar.
First time, won't be the last! We thoroughly enjoyed our night at Hakkasan. Our waitress was great! She was enthusiastic with her recommendations and was spot on! Oh, and she was 6 months pregnant and couldn't have been nicer. We loved the Crispy Duck salad (would eat this as a lunch everyday). Our entrees were great!
See you next time we're in Vegas.
We went Hakkasan in MGM in Las Vegas.
We had been there 2 years ago and loved everything, so we were very looking forward to this time.
However, the food was disappointing.
We ordered the set menu #3, which was $150 per person.
We didn’t see the value.
The amount was tooo much.
The worst items were, the roasted duck and fried rice.
So called “The truffle infused duck” had no truffle flavor but too much anise in it.
The fried rice smelled like unwashed rise.
After all, We would have appreciated less quantity with better quality.
The drink and desserts were good, though.
We chose to dine at Hakkasan before going to see KA at the MGM Grand. Gorgeous décor, great cocktails (I recommend the Hakka), warm and attentive service. The food comes in good portion sizes and is a great value considering the other restaurants in the area and the space itself. We were celebrating two birthdays and half of our party was stuck in traffic. The restaurant happily took two sets of orders and brought out two birthday desserts with candles with no complaints at all. Highly recommended for dinner, plus you can head to the Hakkasan nightclub after or see KA without having to leave MGM Grand and get an Uber elsewhere.
Very happy, great choice for dinner, go here with a large group of friends or for a romantic, fun dinner for two.
Trendy restaurant with cool lighting. It is at the MGM grande. The food here is Asian - mostly Chinese. They have clearly marked vegetarian items & the waitress Leigh knew what was vegan. The service was very good. They have some excellent mocktails, & I had tried some of them with my wife at their San Francisco location. Last night, I had the virgin hakka mocktail which was a coconut, lychee comb & that was great. I had the vegetarian chicken as my entree with steamed rice & that was filling - the texture was good but not much flavor. The portion was small but perfect for me. The coconut lychee desert was great as well.
This meal was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten! My husband and I split the vegetarian menu, and it was all exceptional! We had so much food, we were totally stuffed and beyond happy! Well worth the price because everything was expertly prepared and delicious. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others.
