   Love coming because I have a million food allergies and can actually eat their burgers because they are out meat. No garbage. Delicious fries, good selection of local beers and great Caesar’s. A little too loud for my liking so we sit on the patio when possible. Good value for what you get. We will return.

   We walked in the door 5 minutes early for our reservation at 4:15 and were met by a very rude Manager who told us that they were running behind, at 4:15, and that we needed to wait outside. We sat at an open patio table where we were approached by a couple of waiters to ensure that we were "taken care of". We told them that we were waiting for our table and they left. We did not get offered a drink order or any update until my daughter went back in at 4:30 and waived us in. Service was then very slow with bar orders being brutally slow. There is a dedicated bar tender and a ton of wait staff but I still cancelled my second drink because it was not there before our meals were done. I had to continually flag down the waiter to order more drinks. The spun out manager never came to check on the table and I got to watch her continue to spin out every time someone walked in the door. This was not a good experience for a table of 6. The food here is beyond excellent but don't go in the late afternoon, even with a reservation. I would recommend the food but not the service. I don't like to be pestered but keep an eye on the table for second drink orders.

   The food was good but it took 50 mins to arrive…way too long! The noise level was ridiculous, u couldn’t have a conversation. The server was good but again due to the noice level it was almost impossible to hear her and her hear us. I would recommend the food but due to the atmosphere/noise I would say maybe try the patio instead. I wouldn’t recommend going there if u have a time limit!

    I booked a table for 4 for Tuesday at 6 pm. It was confirmed and Re-confirmed on Tuesday. We arrived looking forward to a delicious dinner. But the door was locked and a sign on the door, we are closed! We had to eat at a competitor down the street and it was very poor. The next day I spoke to Jason the supervisor asking how they could make it right. Jason said the manager would call back. The manager did not call he made Jason call me and he blamed it on the open table booking system, no responsibility on their side. He offered to make another reservation and included a dessert as a compensation. No thanks! Would we recommend this restaurant, no! In fact we tell people about the poor manager service.

    Very first time I was utterly disappointed in the dining experience, I commute from Toronto because I loved this place. I was not happy and I'm not sure when I will come back. I have been here several times and was shocked at how much we did not enjoy ourselves.

    Never a bad time at any location in Hamilton!! Food, AMAZING! Atmosphere, AMAZING! Service again AMAZING! Only down side was a high rise being built across the road made patio noisy but that is fsr from the restaurants issue, DO NO let this stop you from going. Wife and I drive 45 mins to eat here

    We had reservations at 5pm. We arrived on time and were greeted awkwardly by a gentleman who should not be in the service industry. We were served quickly by what ended up being the bartender. He took our drink and food order. Food came about 15 minutes later. Food was just ok. Had better burgers elsewhere (Ships). The side salad contained two cherry tomatoes and the rest arugula lettuce. No server did a quality check. We had to wave down the same awkward guy to get a waiter over to get more drinks. The bartender finally made his way over and we eventually got our drinks All in all. An ok experience. Ok food. Loud. Poor service. There are much better options in the area

    Always a great meal. It’s small, so can be a bit loud and Servers are hopping when the patio is open. Great spot downtown in The Hammer. Go there!!!

    I wouldn't call the noise level "energetic" I'd call it overwhelming. Not from the guests, since there were only about six inside. From the volume of the music. They did turn down when we asked.

    Had Andrew as a server and he was amazing. The food was great! We had the chicken and waffles as an appetizer, and the poutine and the Brie burger for main. Brie on the burger was a bit too thick, kind of overpowered the burger, but still very good.

    Used to love coming here.. The last few visits haven't been great. Last night we were kept waiting for our food after we got our apps for an hour. Our waitress didn't come over and communicate anything with us. Eventually she came by after noticing us getting annoyed and said our order was coming out next. 20 minutes pass and she comes back and says there's a backlog of orders and its still going to be a bit... How does a backlog affect our order if ours is the next one to come out? She made an unhappy face when I questioned how much longer considering she had already said ours was next and still didn't know how much longer It would be.. People were seated and order taken after we got there and they had already eaten and paid by the time we got our food. The waitress took our apps off our bills. It wasn't the greatest resolution as we were a group of 4 and only 2 people ordered apps.. The food is great when it's fresh, but the service has been slacking quite a bit recently. We were seated at 7pm and didnt get to leave until almost 9

    Waited 40 + min from the time we sat down to get our food. Server was lovely but forgot about a beverage we ordered. The music was so loud couldn’t hear and the server brought hot sauce when we asked for salt and pepper. It was hard to carry on conversation. The restaurant was really warm, but it was hot outside and everyone doesn’t have their AC systems running yet so that is understandable.

    It took us from order to the food arrived for nearly 1 hour.. It was not that busy during that time. Also, the poutine is not hot, everything in the burger is clod expect patty. Even though the taste is good. I still don’t think it is worthy to wait 1 hour to have our burger done and not even warm.

    Everything was top notch ! Food was fabulous! Server JC ? I think was his name , was great , very friendly. It was VERY loud. I asked our server to turn down the music which he did but I think someone else turned it back up minutes later. It was very hard to talk and communicate within our family.

    The food was excellent as always. Unfortunately, it took forever to actually get it. We were seated at 4:30 and didn't get our food until 5:50. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but it put a damper on our experience.

    I think we had a royal burger, chicken poutine, cheesy fries, all of it was amazing. Almost an hour waiting for our food which was a downer but everything else was great. Don't know downtown Hamilton well so i ended up circling for a bit because street was closed for out door dining. Minor inconvenience.

    The food was mediocre and I never had a problem before with the food, I asked for no onions and they put onions on. It took a long time before the server arrived at our table to take our order, but we even felt rushed giving our order to him. The food didn’t arrive at our table until 45 minutes after , we ordered nachos, fried pickles and one burger. We also felt our server barely acknowledged us or the time it took for our food to come out.

    Went for dinner before our show. The kitchen was slammed so things were a little slow coming out but it all tasted absolutely delicious when it did!! We had the tater tot fondue and bacon fat popcorn to start. I had the Beets & Brie salad and my husband had the Revenge of El Diablo burger with sweet potatoes. We had the pleasure of being seated at the bar and being attended to by JC. I can honestly say that I've never witnessed someone as special as JC in a restaurant or bar. He was so extremely busy, not just with the bar and his own food orders but also was continually assisting the rest of the team with their questions or concerns. He helped everyone and still managed to keep his own customers at the bar happy. JC is probably the most friendly and engaged server we've had in years. Even in the face of the poor kitchen staff trying to keep up with all of the orders; he was a calm in the storm. My husband and I told him repeatedly how impressed we were with him and how incredible he is. He is a true gem in this fantastic Downtown Hamilton location!!! We'll be back and will hopefully get a seat at the bar with JC again!
