Neighborhood gem nestled in quaint downtown Campbell. Excellent food and great service. My go-to place for good Italian food. Make sure to save room for dessert....the zabaglione and panna cotta are a must!
Gourmet food in San Jose. The soup was home made as well as the deserts. The scallops were excellent and my husband said his pasta was cooked perfectly.
Excellent experience here. Young man playing piano/keyboard in the dinning area created the perfect back drop to a lovely family evening
It was great! Excellent costumer service!!
Had a delicious dinner there with co-workers! Server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Ambiance was very nice and inviting. We all had pasta dishes with some variation of seafood and they were seasoned exceptionally well and had a depth of flavor. I will be back next time I am in the area.
Found aBellagio two years ago and love to go there every time I am in town ! Gnocchi with fresh marinara is FANTASTIC! Burratta appetizer was yummy. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Doting staff and great vibe.
Wonderful food. A Bellagio offers many items that are not found on most Italian restaurant's menus. The bartender, waitress and the rest o the staff was warm, friendly and efficient. We will return soon to try more of the excellent dishes.
Food was great except for the Papadelle with lobster. It was prepared with an unusual fresh tomato sauce. Was not worth it for 36.00 dollars and only having a small 5.00 dollar lobster tail.
I had the banzini special and it was great. My wife had the carbonara pasta and it was excellent as usual.
I was so hoping this would be a another good option for nice Italian food--the kind of place that isn't red sauce and pasta. Sadly, no.
I was hopeful when we arrived because the place looks good, kind of upscale, but not too fancy. I'm thinking perfect for the family for a birthday dinner.
The menu had lots of options for hubby, who likes seafood. But fewer options for teenage daughter, and very little for me as a vegetarian who doesn't like seafood. The strudilino description looked so tempting (pastry, vegetables, and gorgonzola sauce), but the vegetables seemed to be carrots and spinach--boring. The pastry was a little tough--had to cut it with a knife--but the worst was that the gorgonzola sauce overpowered everything. Not well-balanced! Minestrone soup was watery. Spinach salad was pretty good.
Entrees: husband's scallops looked great & he really enjoyed. Son had big old steak, so he was happy. Daughter's baked crepes were super yummy. My pasta (bucatini bellagio) was ok, but a little weird tasting. In the end, I ate about half and was still hungry.
Desserts were super yummy! Had the berry short cake and tiramisu. Hard to go wrong there.
Service was good, but not what you would expect from a high-end restaurant (bus boy refilled sparkling water glasses with still water, they weren't great about clearing dirty plates). They were very attentive.
Wine list was good.
Overall, I won't be going back.
Other reviewers comment about the noise level in this restaurant, and it is fairly loud. They had a young man playing background music on a piano, which was nice. Our table was tucked away in a corner, where the noise level was reasonable.
I really liked the service, they treated us well. The food was very good. It was my wife's birthday, so the server brought her a dessert with a candle, and generally made her evening feel special.
We ate indoors, but their outdoor area is off the street and looks inviting.
Fantastic! Clean, beautiful. Nice location. Great food. Friendly service.
Highly recommended for birthdays!
Good Italian food with nice menu selections and always specials of the day. Friendly service. Can be noisy with big parties and also it can get very warm inside. They leave the front door open for ventilation but I wonder why the A/C can't be on low or something or maybe get some ceiling fans. Overall, a neighborhood gem!
My wife and I had a lovely evening. The food was excellent, as was the service. Certainly one of the nicer Italian restaurants in the area.
Excellent food! The lobster pasta is delectable.
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Great food, great service, and just a great place! We will be back@
The food was delicious. Service was good. Parking is a problem in downtown Campbell.
Delicious food, plenty of choices. Will definitely be back again soon
Great date night location, nice that there is a parking lot attached to the restaurant in downtown Campbell. The Pappardelle Alla Aragosta, Gnocchi Gorgonzola and Penne Alla Salsiccia are some of my favorite dishes. I appreciate that they offer fresh, grated parmesan cheese at your table. The service is good, the flow of the different courses are brought in a timely manor without rushing you through your meal.
One of the best italian restaurants that i have been too in a long time. Family-owned. Friendly! Food was delicious. We loved it.
A Bellagio never disappoints. Wonderful food, wonderful service. As always, Rebecca was great.
Excellent food and exceptional service!! Would definitely recommend.....
While celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary we were treated with complimentary appetizers and desert which were very good!
I've been twice to have the lamb, it is really good. Good cocktails and wine selection as well.
Wonderful attentive staff who went out of their way to make our special occasion very special indeed. I’d heartily recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for somewhere special for that special occasion.
Authentic freshly made pasta. I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference--it did! Service was friendly and attentive. Excellent Italian dishes including unique ones I've not seen elsewhere. Seafood was amazing. They were extremely busy when we first arrived at 8:45PM so it was loud with conversation but quieted down as it neared closing at 10. If you're looking for a quiet place, I'd recommend trying a weeknight or else away from peak hours. They had an excellent and expensive wine list for those looking for top end.
Excellent service, delicious food!
Wow! What to say. We had been there about 10 years ago and had a terrible dining experience but thought we give them a try on a rare date night. My wife had the Saltimboca and I had the Fruita De mare over linguine. We shared a caprrese salad.
The salad was great, but my wife’s dish was terrible. The prosciutto was way overcooked to the consistency of jerky and the sauce was not a normal lemon caper sauce but a disgusting brown wine gravy that tasted bitter and burned. The sauce in my pasta was very bland and the seafood was so chewy it was practically inedible. I don’t think will be back again. We were happy that they took my wife’s dish off the bill but that kind of defeats the purpose of going out to dinner and certainly defeats the purpose of having a nice meal on a date night.
Great Restaurant. Authentic Italian. White tablecloth and napkins. Friendly staff. We went for lunch and had Salmon and Ceasor Salad.
Delicious food. We ordered the special Chilean Sea-bass served on a bed of polenta. The penne with Italian sausage and 2 orders of the burrata. Very yummy! Would definitely come back again the next time we’re in town.
The food is fantastic! Never disappoints. Nice ambiance and great service.
Came here for an anniversary and the wait staff prepared our table accordingly. We had a lovely time
One of the best restaurants I have been to this year, and that includes a trip to Italy
I visited because I was looking for a quiet place for business lunch. This was close to my work, so it is a good option. Parking was good for my noon time reservation. I read some reviews about their spaghetti carbonara, so I had to try it. I'm happy to say it was very delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and was served nice and hot with plenty of tasty prosciutto and freshly shaved parmesan cheese. My guest had the seafood salad with shrimp, octopus, salmon, scallops and baby spinach. He said it was perfect as he wanted to watch his calorie intake. We didn't have room for dessert. The portions were just right for lunch. I ended up taking a small portion of my spaghetti carbonara back with me. We were very pleased with the service and food.
Once again we had a quite enjoyable meal and experience.
Excellent and unique Italian. "Day scallops" were fresh/unfrozen THAT DAY'S CATCH, best I've ever had.
A Bellagio is great! Our waiter was excellent and she was so sweet!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Dinner for three people in our party, two with birthdays. Called ahead to inform them of a dairy intolerant diner. When we arrived the waitress immediately acknowledged that she had been informed about the dairy intolerant issue. She made sure that there was no dairy in our specific diner's food and did not forget the birthdays. The food was really very good (terrific pasta) and cooked to perfection. Her service to us could not have been better. Our waitress and her assistant made sure that our evening was well spent and for that we give them much thanks.
We have been to A Bellagio several times. It is always a wonderful experience. Food is excellent. Great atmosphere. We came recently for our anniversary and they took care to make it special.
Food and service was great! Highly recommend it👍🏻
